Book New Consciousness for a New World

Download or read book New Consciousness for a New World written by Kingsley L. Dennis and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2011-08-16 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A call for a paradigm shift in human thinking in recognition of the interconnectedness of all things--a new mind for a new world • Explains how the instability of our current time is part of a larger cycle of human evolution that will soon turn toward renewal and regeneration • Reveals how to participate in the process of conscious evolution to maintain resilience during these transitional times • Examines new findings in quantum physics and quantum biology on the interconnectivity of all life and how to utilize this for conscious evolution For centuries, indigenous wisdom traditions have talked of an epochal shift on the horizon, of a spiritual renaissance for the earth and her living family. Now the timelines are converging and the potential for an energetic “upgrade” for humanity is here, but first we must survive and evolve through the current period of transition. Explaining that evolution is not a gradual process but more like a “shock to the system”--radical waves of transformation after a period of dormancy--author Kingsley Dennis reveals that we are currently undergoing an evolutionary leap and shows not only how to survive but also thrive in this period of global upheaval and change. Examining the nature of evolutionary cycles, he explains that the instability we are now experiencing--climate change, economic meltdowns, and increasing political polarization--is the convergence of complex systems that have reached a critical state. What we need in order to push through to the coming spiritual renaissance is a paradigm shift in human thinking and perception, a conscious evolution in recognition of the interconnectedness of all things--a new mind for a new world. Examining new findings in quantum physics and quantum biology on the interconnectivity of all life as well as opportunities for us to reawaken our slumbering souls, this book offers a glimpse of the new global society to come, a renewed humanity for the 21st century, and how each of us can best participate during the process of planetary transformation.

Book The Creation of a Consciousness Shift

Download or read book The Creation of a Consciousness Shift written by Paul Lenda and published by John Hunt Publishing. This book was released on 2012 with total page 202 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Humanity is at a crossroads, where it has to decide whether it wishes to live in a bright future or a dystopian dark age. By making a decision one way or the other, humanity is creating its reality. Through the power of consciousness, humanity has the ability to create a global and transpersonal shift in consciousness to a much higher level. This book demonstrates that such a wide-reaching shift is possible through the realization that everything and everyone is interconnected. This book is one of the first of its kind to put forth scientific evidence to support its transcendental self-growth message. By giving the reader the knowledge and tools necessary for the creation of a consciousness shift, the collective consciousness can be affected in such a way that each individual can help in creating a massive global consciousness shift. Several tools, methods, and guidelines are provided to help bring about such a monumental change. It is the author's intent to stir up a spirit of action and change in respect to altering one's modality of thought and perception of reality.

Book Manifesto for the Noosphere

Download or read book Manifesto for the Noosphere written by Jose Arguelles and published by North Atlantic Books. This book was released on 2011-05-24 with total page 217 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The noosphere, identified in the early twentieth century as intrinsic to the next stage of human and terrestrial evolution, is defined as the Earth’s “mental sphere” or stratum of human thought. Manifesto for the Noosphere, the final work by renowned author José Argüelles, predicts that the noosphere will be fully accessed on December 21, 2012—but warns that we will only successfully make this evolutionary jump through an act of collective consciousness among humans on Earth. The ascension to the noosphere or Supermind (using the terminology of Sri Aurobindo), Argüelles says, will be an unprecedented “mind shift” that mirrors the emergence of life itself on the planet. Manifesto for the Noosphere is intended to inform and prepare humanity for the nature and magnitude of this shift. Argüelles brings in the Mayan long-count calendar, radical theories on the nature of time, advanced states of consciousness, and the possible intervention of galactic intelligence. He carefully details the role of the noosphere in relation to other planetary strata (hydrosphere, biosphere, atmosphere) as well as the history and nature of the biosphere-noosphere transition and the intermediary phases of the technosphere and cybersphere. About the Imprint: EVOLVER EDITIONS promotes a new counterculture that recognizes humanity's visionary potential and takes tangible, pragmatic steps to realize it. EVOLVER EDITIONS explores the dynamics of personal, collective, and global change from a wide range of perspectives. EVOLVER EDITIONS is an imprint of North Atlantic Books and is produced in collaboration with Evolver, LLC.

Book The Awakening of Global Consciousness

Download or read book The Awakening of Global Consciousness written by Jawara D. King, D.D. and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2010-07-26 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the world's leading spiritual teachers returns with an inspiring and provocative message with solutions to our planetary crises, offering effective steps to change the world and integrate all levels of our Being. Religion is psychological entrapment promoting the controlled behavior of the herd civilization. Institutionalized organized religion is the cause of enslavement, violence, prejudice, hatred, classism, and war. False religious institutions created god in their own personal image and after the likeness of their own mind for control and money. Every religious holy book has been altered, dissected, rewritten, and censored to appear as the word of God, and all the gods of religious holy books are controlled by fundamentalists. Organized religion is a serious threat to the human race and a mental illness that afflicts over 80% of the world's population. It has nothing to do with spirituality and is no more than a collection of unholy lies. The spiritual terrorism of religion frowns upon free will, dispises questions, prohibits doubt, and survives on blind faith. Eternal life with God is only promised to the obedient religious-slaves who unconditionally follow rigid religious belief structures. This mythology was created based on division, not unity. Control is the essence of evil. The easiest way to control humanity is through fear, which is why the religious Elite created gods of intimidation and fear; to control others and solicit money. "The Awakening of Global Consciousness is a must read for the millions who've read Jawara's earlier classic books and a great beginning for those unfamiliar with his great works questioning the validity of the world's three major religions."

Download or read book Consciousness written by Rodrick Wallace and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2005-04-14 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book makes formal, detailed, application of what Adams has described as 'the informational turn in philosophy' to the global neuronal workspace (GNW) model of consciousness. It uses an extended statistical model of cognitive process, based on the Shannon-McMillan Theorem and its corollaries, to incorporate the effects of embedding physiological, social, and cultural contextual constraints which operate more slowly than the workspace itself, but severely limit the possible realms available to that workspace, and hence to consciousness itself. The resulting 'biopsychosociocultural' treatment directly addresses criticisms of brain-only models of consciousness which have been raised in cultural psychology and philosophy, while remaining true to the current neuroscience perspective. This is the first formal, comprehensive, and reasonably rigorous, mathematical treatment of the GNW and is the only one to include the effects of embedding contexts in a 'natural' manner.

Book Seeding the Future

Download or read book Seeding the Future written by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee and published by The Golden Sufi Center. This book was released on 2022-02-28 with total page 78 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the early days of the pandemic, for a few months our world slowed down and almost stopped. In this space I was drawn to listen to a different rhythm, the silence and sounds of the natural world and the deeper pulse of the Earth. Those months soon passed, and the pandemic not only took us into fears for our health and an economic crisis, but soon afterwards into the fragmented, divisive dramas around masks and vaccines. But the memory of a quieter, clearer world remained, and the sense of how this nourishes the soul and the Earth. Over the next year as I walked the beaches and wetlands nearby, I became more and more immersed in this primal landscape, sensing it has a quality we need for a new human story. I wrote a series of articles exploring this “deep ecology of consciousness,” describing it as a seed for a living future. They are collected together here. —Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, December 2021 "In the depths of the pandemic, the great Sufi teacher, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, explored the primal, sacred landscape ever-present below our divisiveness. What he retrieved there is gathered in this compelling collection of personal essays. He has somehow woven the perennial seeds of Spirit into a deep ecology of consciousness that can help us build a better world. This book is medicine for our times." —MARK NEPO, author of The Book of Soul and More Together Than Alone
