Book The Pattern the Tabernacle the Christ

Download or read book The Pattern the Tabernacle the Christ written by Elder G. E. Jones and published by Author House. This book was released on 2008-01-14 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When God gave us the Holy Scriptures He concealed beneath the surface a vast wealth of spiritual truths for His people. In the tabernacle, it’s furniture, and its service, God has hidden an inexhaustible mine of precious spiritual truths. For years many of us have passed over this hidden wealth, unconscious of its existence. But all the time it has been there awaiting our discovery. Elder Jones has listed the significance of 17 Bible numbers and gives us the meanings of the materials of the tabernacle, such as gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, shittim wood, oil, salt, leaven and much more. Learn about the furniture of the tabernacle - the ark, the golden cherubim above the mercy seat, the table of shewbread, the candlestick, the altar of incense, and the duties of the priests. As we attempt to walk in the midst of the truths of this ancient sanctuary may the Spirit of our God open our eyes and hearts to see Christ revealed therein. May we behold His divine perfection, His glorious attributes, His divine love, and the all-sufficiency of His matchless grace. From the author of: That Ye May Marvel or The Significance of Bible Numbers and A Verse by Verse Commentary on Revelation. ******* "It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us..." (Hebrews 9:23-24).

Book The Tabernacle The Priesthood and The Offerings

Download or read book The Tabernacle The Priesthood and The Offerings written by Henry W. Soltau and published by Solid Christian Books. This book was released on 2014-03-03 with total page 470 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: His teaching was remarkable, not only for its clearness and depth, but also for its close adherence to Scripture, thus proving how much he lived in communion with God. The great central truths of Salvation through the cross of Christ, and of the Second Coming of the Lord, were ever present to his mind, and pervaded all his teaching. Fearless in his denunciation of what he believed to be error; intensely solemn in his warnings of the power and the consequences of sin; an unflinching standard-bearer of the gospel of God's grace, and yet most tender in ministering the truth of God to stricken ones—he was the means of strengthening the hands of many a feeble one, and of preserving from the snares of the adversary many of God's people.

Book excerpt: This volume exhibits in a clear light the well-known characteristics of its venerable author. It has his vivacity, his point, his fertility of imagination, his unwavering confidence in the truth of what he teaches, and the wonderful power which his imagination and feelings have over his convictions. “This tiny book," he says, "is a compend of Christian theology. I say Christian theology; for I have, long ago, been forced into the conviction that without a diligent study of the tabernacle, no man ever acquires clear, transparent, and practical views of evangelical truth in systematic order."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: WHEN God told Moses to build the tabernacle in the wilderness, according to the pattern which He showed him in the mount, He said: “Speak unto the children of Israel . . . And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:2, 25:8). When the inspired apostle explained the spiritual significance of this, God's dwelling place among His people, Israel, He said to the Hebrew Christians: “We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man” (Hebrews 8:1-2). These words from the New Testament not only give us the Holy Spirit's commentary on the meaning of the tabernacle in the wilderness; but they are the key that unlocks a vast treasure of spiritual truth regarding the “earthly sanctuary” which Moses built, in order that God might dwell among His people. If we would understand the New Testament teaching concerning this Jewish tabernacle, which was “a shadow of good things to come” (Hebrews 10:1), we should compare the Exodus record with the Epistle to the Hebrews, especially chapters eight and nine, which deal with the tabernacle in particular, though primarily with the ministry of Christ, our Great High Priest, in “the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” This comparison of the Old Testament with the New will unfold to us “The Glories of Christ As Foreshadowed in the Jewish Tabernacle.” Yea, it will reveal to us the wonders of the prophetic Scriptures, wherein the Holy Spirit “testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow” (1Peter 1:11). In connection with the typical significance of the Jewish tabernacle, we have one of the many clear proofs that the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; whereas the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus of the New. And the Triune God gave to Israel the tabernacle, the priesthood, and the offerings, in order that sinful man might recognize the promised Saviour, and understand the significance of His mission and death.

We actually used the Rose book to prepare the groups that were waiting to enter. One guest ordered a copy from you. It was very helpful. I attached the script we used for our guides. We had about 1000 visitors go through before one of the worst storms I have ever seen here made the structure unstable and the ground too wet. We fight quite a battle here in what the New Age calls its capital. Many were very moved. One Jewish man exclaimed at the end of the tour, 'So the tabernacle was all about the Messiah!" --- Paul Wallace, The Tabernacle Journey"

Book The Tabernacle for the Congregation House of Habir

Download or read book The Tabernacle for the Congregation House of Habir written by J. R. Godfrey and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2007-11 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Tabernacle for the Congregation House of Habirû" is a supplement to, and not a replacement for, the Tanakh {Hebrew} Bible, and The Old Testament of the King James Bible. It is the story of a modern day people whose plight has been long and arduous and filled with much hardship, and they know little concerning their spiritual or cultural history, or who they truly are. The Tabernacle is the culmination of research depicting the series of apocalyptic-like events from Moses to the conquest of Egypt by the Romans, which changed their lives. The story correlates the biblical events that depict their identity and fate. Those same and subsequent events that swept many of them into the diaspora out of Egypt and Israel, and their escape west forming Hebrew nations across Africa that were later displaced by the Mohammedans. Forced to convert their faith to Islam, then to Christianity or death, they became disparate and seriously vulnerable. They were incarcerated, disoriented, and alienated to a new involuntary diaspora into the new Egypt, the Americas. The Tabernacle delivers the story as spiritual insight into the personal emptiness of not believing, or perhaps believing and belonging, but to a religious group without a sincere feeling of spiritual fulfillment. It offers a basis for faith, and specific fundamentals of faith for a lost people, an insight into their past way of life. In a non-traditional manner, it invites the reader to think and visualize the experience. The book and its story are an educational tool intended to promote enlightenment while facilitating the accommodation, assimilation, and spiritual unity among all - regardless of age, nationality, ethnicity, or current religious affiliation - who are fulfilled and intrigued by its content. Finally, the Habiri are home, and they congregate here! A must read for those seeking knowledge, and spiritual comfort .
