As quickly as Proliferation was building up, so had Propaganda on all sides. The fifth column controlled all the news now. The hunted must immediately become the hunters. The action begins in the shadowy forests of California known as Bohemian Grove and moves quickly across the entire world centering on the Middle East and the hunt for the nuclear bombs smuggled in across our unattended borders.. If any of the characters survived, their lives would never be the same. At any moment unseen hands would push the button that would end civilization; if not eliminate all known life on the planet. The problems that had to be resolved immediately were how to identify the enemies. Hoover's documents would identify only the beginning of the planners of destruction. The external enemies had been identified by current events. The surprise was that some of the so called Enemies were actually on his side. How could Sinclair's people know on February 21 how much time was left? His group originally started out as seven very concerned men, growing to only forty-nine. The other original members of the Cabal-as they referred to themselves were-the heir to the huge tool and die conglomerate he had helped create, a Mr. Floyd and six other Industrialists- Men who had integrity and would pledge their resources and ultimately their lives....Visit our web site: @ http://www.writers-table.net

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: May Sinclair was a bestselling author of her day whose versatile literary output, including criticism, philosophy, poetry, psychoanalysis and experimental fiction, now frequently falls between the established categories of literary modernism. In terms of her contribution to dominant modernist paradigms she was, until recently, best remembered for recasting the psychological novel as 'stream of consciousness' narrative in a 1918 review of Dorothy Richardson's Pilgrimage. This book brings together the most recent research on Sinclair and re-contextualises her work both within and against dominant Modernist narratives. It explores Sinclair's negotiations between the public and private, the cerebral and the corporeal and the spiritual and the profane in both her fiction and non-fiction.

Book The Cure for Alcoholism

Download or read book The Cure for Alcoholism written by Roy Eskapa and published by BenBella Books. This book was released on 2012-10-23 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Finally, there is a cure for alcoholism. This is the first step. Featuring new and updated information and studies, including an introduction by actress Claudia Christian, the second edition of The Cure for Alcoholism delivers exactly what millions of alcoholics and families of alcoholics have been hoping for: a painless, dignified, and medically proven cure for their addiction. Backed by 82 clinical trials and research that extends back to 1964, The Sinclair Method deploys an opiate-blocking medication in a very specific way—in combination with ongoing drinking—to extinguish the addictive "software" in the brain. The de-addiction process rolls back the addictive mechanism in the brain to its original pre-addicted state—before the first drink was consumed, making this program an actual cure for alcoholism. Drs. Roy Eskapa and David Sinclair of The Sinclair Method have put together a sound scientific book that proves that with this particular method, alcoholism can be cured in more than 78 percent of patients. What's more, the treatment avoids the dangerous withdrawal symptoms, allowing patients to detox gradually and safely while they are still drinking. This removes the need for expensive and unpleasant inpatient rehabilitation programs. Actual drinking levels and cravings automatically decrease until control over alcohol is restored. The bottom line is that patients can control their drinking or stop altogether with the simple yet powerful process outlined in The Cure for Alcoholism. Including a new introduction by actress Claudia Christian about The Sinclair Method's impact on her life, updated trial information, and a letter explaining the treatment that can be given to doctors by patients, The Cure for Alcoholism is a revolutionary book for anyone who wants to gain control over drinking.

Book Educating for Durable Solutions

Download or read book Educating for Durable Solutions written by Christine Monaghan and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2021-04-08 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is education for an unknowable future? In Educating for Durable Solutions, Christine Monaghan explores how refugees and policymakers have answered this question over time by reconstructing the contemporary history of education in Kenya's Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps. Through oral histories and archival research, Monaghan shows how, since the founding of both camps in 1991, refugees and policymakers have conceptualized, developed, implemented and changed refugee education programs. She also shows why and how, despite these changes, real challenges persist in refugee education in Dadaab, Kakuma, and other camps throughout the world; these include high numbers of out-of-school children and youth, high student to teacher ratios, unpredictable funding, and persistent questions regarding what refugee education is for. The author shifts focus from debates over the impacts of specific policies and programs and explores instead how and why different policies and programs were implemented whether they led to meaningful changes in the long-standing challenges of refugee education. She finds that when and where real changes occurred, individuals or small groups of refugees and policymakers acted with tremendous agency and as tireless advocates.
