The Shadow wraiths, on the other hand, planned to use the power in the forest to make trouble. Malachai, a once-good Nephilim who had been harmed by black magic, was in charge of the Shadow wraiths. He was skilled with shadows, and his green eyes, which used to shine like the forest, were now dark. Malachai hated his old clan and wanted the Great Oak's power to make him unbeatable.
