Download or read book The Sacred Way of Power written by Dewi Viyana Etherea and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2016-07-16 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are children of the waters of life... In The Sacred Way of Power I reveal certain knowledge brought with birth obscure or hidden from most. During my life walk I retraced remaining physical threads. Mysteries of pyramids, sacred cosmology, buried history, astral knowledge and artefacts distorted, suppressed or subverted by secret societies. This new knowledge revelation has potential to alter current systemic view of consciousness and history education. The Sacred Way of Power glimpses a civilization lost but distantly remembered in dreaming that may have come from substantive genetic recall and customary succession. It traces concepts of Deva cosmic legacy into human society. This Mother theology survived in remnant strings to form today's Patriarchal scriptures in many religions and also customary beliefs. It is described through the reflective life story of one born into this ancient lineage and progresses personal acceptance of this great hidden truth. The Sacred Way of Power gives first insight into the way of ancient Deva Meru, subsequent chronicles describe the way of arcane Mu Triple Goddess coming to enlightened flowering. As rites of passage the Sacred Songs from Silence chronicles detail awakening into highest consciousness incarnation pre-destined before birth, portended in cosmic heavens. This is an incarnation known in highest spiritual order, in the way emissaries locate an incarnation of Buddhist Dalai Lama. T'Ara Devi Goddess ordination is only known beyond constraints of contemporary systemic society. The reason this distant legacy has remained buried or subverted to mythology is fairly obvious. Patriarchal societies worldwide invested a lot of aggressive energy in wiping out Divine Feminine. Several thousand successive oppressive years were described as "the greatest genocide ever". In other chora the Deva light bridge was withdrawn through the veil of S'ati as the Goddess submerged into the great ice melts during past ages of Leo and Cancer. The Patriarchal bull of Taurus that overran the late Post Great Flood matriarchies ensured closing of our advanced civilization. Cultural remains have been left to interpretation in child minds of generations with no real connection to arcane origins. Goddess artefacts were used and altered to suit political rule. You may find other reasons for suppression of Mu knowledge, insights and greater secrets revealed in the chapters of The Sacred Way of Power and forthcoming series of Sacred Songs from Silence.

Book Path of the Sacred Pipe

Download or read book Path of the Sacred Pipe written by Jay Cleve and published by Quest Books. This book was released on 2012-12-19 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In these days of global crisis, thoughtful seekers increasingly turn to Native Americans for healing wisdom. The Sacred Pipe is the medicine, says Jay Cleve in this informative and practical guide to a key practice of Native American spirituality. The Hopi and other ancient cultures predicted our present age as one of transition into a New World. The galactic alignment ending the Mayan calendar on December 21, 2012 occurs only every 26,000 years and is thought to be a critical time for raising consciousness to align with the radical expansion of Earth energies. Cleve shows how the Pipe can facilitate transformation on both the personal and planetary levels. He explains its use in rituals such as the sweat lodge, the vision quest, and the sun dance and in relation to the Medicine Wheel. He also provides practical information on obtaining and caring for a Pipe and on preparing for and performing the Pipe ceremony.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jeanne Halgren Kilde's survey of church architecture is unlike any other. Her main concern is not the buildings themselves, but rather the dynamic character of Christianity and how church buildings shape and influence the religion. Kilde argues that a primary function of church buildings is to represent and reify three different types of power: divine power, or ideas about God; personal empowerment as manifested in the individual's perceived relationship to the divine; and social power, meaning the relationships between groups such as clergy and laity. Each type intersects with notions of Christian creed, cult, and code, and is represented spatially and materially in church buildings. Kilde explores these categories chronologically, from the early church to the twentieth century. She considers the form, organization, and use of worship rooms; the location of churches; and the interaction between churches and the wider culture. Church buildings have been integral to Christianity, and Kilde's important study sheds new light on the way they impact all aspects of the religion. Neither mere witnesses to transformations of religious thought or nor simple backgrounds for religious practice, church buildings are, in Kilde's view, dynamic participants in religious change and goldmines of information on Christianity itself.

Download or read book Land Power and the Sacred written by Janet R. Goodwin and published by University of Hawaii Press. This book was released on 2018-07-31 with total page 587 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Landed estates (shōen) produced much of the material wealth supporting all levels of late classical and medieval Japanese society. During the tenth through sixteenth centuries, estates served as sites of de facto government, trade network nodes, developing agricultural technology, and centers of religious practice and ritual. Although mostly farmland, many yielded nonagricultural products, including lumber, salt, fish, and silk, and provided livelihoods for craftsmen, seafarers, peddlers, and performers, as well as for cultivators. By the twelfth century, an estate “system” permeated much of the Japanese archipelago. This volume examines the system from three perspectives: the land itself; the power derived from and exerted over the land; and the religion institutions and individuals that were involved in landholding practices. Chapters by Japanese and Western scholars explore how the estate system arose, developed, and eventually collapsed. Several investigate a single estate or focus on agricultural techniques, while others survey estates in broad contexts such as economic change and maritime trade. Other chapters look at how we learn about estates by inspecting documents, landscape features, archaeological remains, and extant buildings and images; how representatives of every social stratum worked together to make the land productive and, conversely, how cooperative arrangements failed and rivals battled one another, making conflict as well as collaboration a hallmark of the system. On a more personal level, we follow the monk Chōgen’s restoration of Ōbe Estate and his installation of a famous Amida triad in a temple he built on the premises; the strategies of royal ladies Jōsaimon’in, Hachijōin, and Kōkamon’in as they strove to keep their landholdings viable; and the murder of estate official Gorōzaemon, whose own neighbors killed him as a result of a much larger dispute between two powerful warrior families. Land, Power, and the Sacred represents a significant expansion and revision of our knowledge of medieval Japanese estates. A range of readers will welcome the primary source research and comparative perspectives it offers; those who do not specialize in Japanese medieval history but recognize the value of teaching the history of estates will find a chapter devoted to the topic invaluable. Book The Healing Power of the Sacred Woman

Download or read book The Healing Power of the Sacred Woman written by Christine R. Page and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2012-11-16 with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How to enhance well-being by reconnecting to sacred womanhood • Shares ways to embody the power, wisdom, and compassion of the Great Mother • Reveals a woman’s purpose is to give birth not only to new life but also to new levels of consciousness • Shows how female illnesses represent a disconnection from our true identity as women Four thousand years ago, women were seen as living representatives of the Great Mother, whose cyclical and potent energy gave birth to all existence. Today, this sacred awareness has been lost or distorted, causing a collective amnesia among women around the world. However, there is one symbol of the Great Mother’s loving presence that has remained unchanged for tens of thousands of years: the physical body. Its curves, sensuality, softness, and monthly flow are constant reminders of this deep loving connection. When illness appears, especially within the breasts and fertility organs, a woman is being reminded to return to her pure and sacred identity, where death and birth are essential for growth and love flows without expectations. Combining more than 30 years’ experience in health care with in-depth research into the history and mythology of the divine feminine, Christine R. Page, M.D., reveals that women are the foundation of the birth of new levels of consciousness, without which the evolution of humanity will become barren and dry. Yet, such birth can occur only when women have the courage to reject the beliefs and images of the feminine imposed upon them four thousand years ago and reclaim their true identity. Through a fascinating journey into the body, Dr. Page shows the importance of self-love and self-respect and explains how sex is a natural process of unification where women take the lead, similar to the ancient sacred priestesses. Dr. Page reminds women to reconnect to the potent and creative energy of Mother Earth, which gives power to the intuitive voice of the heart and nurtures new seeds of inspiration and enlightenment through the womb.

Download or read book The Way of Silence written by David Steindl-Rast and published by Franciscan Media. This book was released on 2016-05-03 with total page 85 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The tranquility of order is a dynamic tranquility, the stillness of a flame burning in perfect calm, of a wheel spinning so fast that it seems to stand still. Silence in this sense is not only a quality of the environment, but primarily an attitude, an attitude of listening. " Let us give to one another that gift of silence, so that we can listen together and listen to one another. Only in this silence will we be able to hear that gentle breath of peace, that music to which the spheres dance, that universal harmony to which we, too, hope to dance." Austrian-born Benedictine monk David Steindl-Rast is one of the most influential and beloved spiritual teachers of our time. For decades, Brother David has divided his time between periods of monastic life at the Mount Saviour Monastery in New York and extensive lecture tours on five continents. He has brought spiritual depth into the lives of countless people, whom he touches through his lectures, his workshops and his writings. Brother David was one of the first Roman Catholics to participate in Buddhist-Christian dialogue, studying under Zen teachers and building bridges between religious traditions. His newest book, The Way of Silence, draws heavily on Buddhist teachings to cultivate the practice of “deep” listening: turning away from noise and distraction, paying attention, and embracing quiet. The Way of Silence embraces paradox: absence versus presence in silence. Dynamic tranquility. The all-oneness of aloneness. Humbly, trusting in God, you’ll practice emptying your mind in order to receive wisdom, insight, and understanding. You’ll learn to listen deeply, with a trusting heart—and you’ll joyously discover a new, interior freedom that will make you feel more vibrant, and more fully alive.
