Download or read book The Resurrection of Mother Earth Mother Nature Religion written by Jerry Sledge and published by Atlantic Publishing Company. This book was released on 2024-06-25 with total page 38 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Native American Bible connects Revelations to North America and to the Native Americans. In the King James Version of the Bible the beast or the Federal Government was given power. Chapter 13v5 “And power was given unto to him to continue forty and two months.” In Revelations 11v2 “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the gentiles; (all the private citizens in North America) and the holy city shall they tread under foot for forty and two months”. In 1621 the first thanksgiving in North America, was a spiritual pact formed by the British Puritans and the Native Americans and recognized by GOD. Subtract 1621 from 2023=402 years, 42 months was used to hide this fact from the beast. “The Word Becomes Flesh.”

Download or read book Our Mother Earth written by Pope Francis, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and published by Our Sunday Visitor. This book was released on 2020-08-27 with total page 65 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gathered from the writings and discourses of Pope Francis on the environment, Our Mother Earth sets forth a Christian vision of ecology. Responding to our global ecological crisis, Pope Francis says, will require a global approach in which "the whole human family in the search for a sustainable and integral development" unites to protect our common home. Pollution, climate change, loss of biodiversity, and exploitation of resources will grow exponentially if we do not change our direction in the short term. We need an "environmental conversion," Pope Francis says. For this to be possible, we need a truly ecological education to create a renewed awareness and a renewed conscience. In an exclusive new essay that concludes Our Mother Earth, Pope Francis develops a "theology of ecology" in a profoundly spiritual discourse. This final chapter offers thoughts on how a Christian vision of care for the earth goes well beyond a secular vision of ecology. "This means that it is for humanity's capacity for communion to condition the state of creation. … It is therefore humanity's destiny to determine the destiny of the universe."

Book Earth Mother Our Womb of Life

Download or read book Earth Mother Our Womb of Life written by Your Brother and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2011-10-26 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in a prophetic time. The interpretation of holy texts, private revelations, and numerous prophecies all point to our current period as the time of a great world transformation. This "Purification Time," as some call it, is when the deeper knowledge of our Earth Mother, and the process progressing us within our sun system, are needed to prepare us for this special period, when unexpected events and fateful choices will arise for each of us. Following their instructions for this period, native priests, and other elders, are restoring sacred knowledge preserved through the ages. It is time for us to remember the true nature of the Earth, and our deep roots within Her life, and how we have been progressing with the Earth through the ages, toward a goal that is about to climax. The author spent two years with his native father, a high priest of his people, helping to pass on this knowledge. Now in his sixties, the author has continued sharing this information wherever he can: on the Internet, in a university project, and now in this book, where it is hoped that our Earth Mother's message will reach a larger audience.

Book Mother Earth Mother Africa African Indigenous Religions

Download or read book Mother Earth Mother Africa African Indigenous Religions written by Nobuntu Penxa Matholeni and published by African Sun Media. This book was released on 2020-08-04 with total page 200 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Africans embrace all of life, the humanity of each person, the world, and the creation of God. Consequently, African indigenous education reflects the completeness of life itself. The various chapters in this volume recount religious events and experiences from individual perspectives as they are unfolding on the continent. The different voices show how modernity, colonisation, urbanisation, Christianity, and technology have sidelined beliefs and practices of African traditional religions (ATRs) to the detriment of the environment. This volume brings together voices from leading proponents of ATRs and African religious heritage to help us appreciate how values are richly entrenched in African religious life. It demonstrates the detailed richness of ATRs and culture and showcases how far the academic study of ATRs in Africa has come, and calls for a concerted effort through partnership between various actors to ensure environmental sustainability.

Book excerpt: This groundbreaking walk through Scripture by former physician and carpenter Dr. Matthew Sleeth makes the convincing case that trees reveal more about God and faith than you ever imagined. “Christians looking to reconnect to the natural world will relish Sleeth’s passionate call to Christian stewardship of the Earth.”—Publishers Weekly Fifteen years ago, Matthew Sleeth believed that science and logic held the answers to everything. But when tragedy struck, he opened the Bible for the first time and was surprised to find that God chose to tell the gospel story through a trail of trees. There’s a tree on the first page of Genesis, in the first psalm, on the first page of the New Testament, and on the last page of Revelation. The Bible’s wisdom is referred to as a tree of life. Every major biblical character and every major theological event has a tree marking the spot. A tree was the only thing that could kill Jesus—and the only thing Jesus ever harmed. Reforesting Faith is the rare book that builds bridges by connecting those who love the Creator with creation and those who love creation with the Creator. Join Dr. Sleeth as he explores the wonders of life, death, and rebirth through the trail of trees in Scripture. Once you discover the hidden language of trees, your walk through the woods—and through Scripture—will never be the same.

Book Mother Earth Mother Africa

Download or read book Mother Earth Mother Africa written by Sophia Chirongoma and published by African Sun Media. This book was released on 2022-06-15 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume, Mother Earth, Mother Africa: World Religions and Environmental Imagination, explores the interface of religio-cultural traditions and ecological conservation practices in different African contexts. The authors also reflect on the entwinement between the violation of women’s rights and the degradation of the Earth which is usually described using feminine terms, hence the designation, “Mother Earth.” The three major religious traditions in Africa – Christianity, Islam and African Traditional Religions (ATR) – are the lenses through which the authors discuss the interconnections between religion, culture and ecological traditions. Peering through African eco-feminist, gender justice and gender inclusive lenses, the authors foreground the importance of tapping into Africa’s rich religio-cultural resources as vital tools that can be utilised to address the ravaging ecological crisis.

Book The Sacred and the Profane

Download or read book The Sacred and the Profane written by Mircea Eliade and published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. This book was released on 1959 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Famed historian of religion Mircea Eliade observes that even moderns who proclaim themselves residents of a completely profane world are still unconsciously nourished by the memory of the sacred. Eliade traces manifestations of the sacred from primitive to modern times in terms of space, time, nature, and the cosmos. In doing so he shows how the total human experience of the religious man compares with that of the nonreligious. This book serves as an excellent introduction to the history of religion, but its perspective also emcompasses philosophical anthropology, phenomenology, and psychology. It will appeal to anyone seeking to discover the potential dimensions of human existence. -- P. [4] of cover.
