Remembrance of God ranks very highly as a good deed, as mentioned in Chapter 29, Verse 45: "Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book, and perform the prayer ... but the remembrance of God is surely greater. And God knows all that you do." The believer should remember God at all times, in health or sickness, wealth or poverty, when working, and when not working. Such remembrance will keep him away from bad deeds since God is always in his heart, and he is connected to Him through prayers of remembrance. The Holy Quran and the Prophetic Tradition have a large store of these remembrances for all times and daily events, with many remembrances dedicated to particular occasions. These will keep the believer close to God, and He will be contented with him. As the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "If God is content with you, He will give you contentment."
