Book The Nehemiah Anointing A Cry for the Nations

Download or read book The Nehemiah Anointing A Cry for the Nations written by Cassandra Scott and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-05-04 with total page 60 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God is calling forth men and women with the Anointing of Nehemiah. They will rebuild and hedge up the way for those that have been torn down in their spirit, body, and soul throughout the world. God is calling those who will hear from heaven and cry aloud and pray until the manifestation of the promise comes to pass in the earth. They will not give up. They will have clarity of focus. They will not be distracted. They will have follow-through by the Holy Spirit. They are burned with the cares of the nations. They will leave their comfortable positions and move to places in the world that I have called them to both physically and spiritually. They understand prophetic promises have an adversary, but no weapon formed will prosper. They have been called to cry aloud and not spare in fasting and praying. They will unite with those that are weak and have no vision to accomplish the next move of God for their lives. They will hear of situations locally, nationally, internationally and it will make them sit down, cry and fast for days because of the burden of the Lord. They will seek others to join their clusters of prayer and step into what I am saying and doing. They will pray in their closets, global prayer homes, jobs, streets, grocery stores, training centers, banks, etc. They will rise up early and stay up late in fasting and pray. These are they with the Nehemiah Anointing that will arise and restore, rebuild the broken pieces that the enemy has stolen. They repent for the sins of others and America. They will travail and pray the burden through until it is birthed. It's time to cry for the Nations! -Dr. Cassandra Scott

Book excerpt: The Knowing the Bible series is a resource designed to help Bible readers better understand and apply God's Word. These 12-week studies lead participants through books of the Bible and are made up of four basic components: (1) reflection questions help readers engage the text at a deeper level; (2) "Gospel Glimpses" highlight the gospel of grace throughout the book; (3) "Whole-Bible Connections" show how any given passage connects to the Bible's overarching story of redemption, culminating in Christ; and (4) "Theological Soundings" identify how historic orthodox doctrines are taught or reinforced throughout Scripture. With contributions from an array of influential pastors and church leaders, these gospel-centered studies will help Christians see and cherish the message of God's grace on every page of the Bible. The books of Ezra and Nehemiah tell of God's steadfast love toward Israel after their return from exile. The Lord rasied up Ezra and Nehemiah to reestablish the nation by rebuilding the temple and city walls and by turning the people back to his Word. In this 12-week study, Kathleen Nielson shows readers God's mercy and faithfulness demonstrated in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, encouraging Christians toward sincere repentance and persevering hope. Part of the Knowing the Bible series.

Book Team Leadership In Christian Ministry

Download or read book Team Leadership In Christian Ministry written by Kenneth O. Gangel and published by Moody Publishers. This book was released on 1997-01-05 with total page 481 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Team leadership is the exercise of one's spiritual gifts under the call of God to serve a certain group of people in achieving the goals God has given them toward the end of glorifying Christ.'How is your church or organization governed? Does it have an authoritarian, top-down administration? Is the ministry vision developed by a few top officials, with little input from staff or volunteers? Today the definition of an effective leader has changed. No longer does the model leader manage like the Lone Ranger - either do it his way or no way. Today the model leader shares responsibility with fellow team leaders and seeks to serve them. In this complete revision of his earlier work, Building Leaders for Church Education, Dr. Gangel carefully lays a biblical foundation for the team leadership model. This leadership is not dogmatic control or personality worship. It has no room for political power plays. Instead, it is Paul gently nurturing young Christians in his epistles. It is Barnabas willingly thrusting others into situations where they develop their own gifts. It is Christ, choosing not one, but twelve men to carry on His ministry. It is servant leadership. With examples, illustrations, and suggestions for further reading at the end of each chapter, Dr. Gangel prods and encourages the reader to move beyond the safety net of autocratic leadership into the rewarding, effective practice of leading with and through others.
