This book was released on 2021-11-15 with total page 14 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Men were created to be strong and virile. Testosterone is the anabolic male hormone that separates men from women. It is what gives men our male characteristics, including our virility and strength. Plus testosterone also drives muscle growth and strength while performing other functions such as: Maintaining reproductive tissues Stimulating sperm-production Stimulating and maintaining sexual function Supporting bone strength As men age, our testosterone production gradually declines from year to year. But it’s not just aging that robs us of our testosterone– it is also changing societal norms where men are encouraged to repress our masculinity and even embrace our feminine side. Likewise, the modern environment is toxic to men. Every day, our bodies and spirits are under constant assault from testosterone-robbing enemies that slowly hammer away at our masculinity by inhibiting our God-given ability to naturally produce testosterone. I’m here to today to show you how to fight back and take charge of your masculinity by teaching you about the seven most common testosterone killers we encounter every day of our lives in this special report.

Book Ghost Killer Collection

Download or read book Ghost Killer Collection written by Margaret Millmore and published by Next Chapter. This book was released on 2022-07-14 with total page 858 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All three books in 'Ghost Killer', a series by Margaret Millmore, now in one volume! What Haunts Me: George is plagued by strange dreams — nighttime visions of ghosts who wander among the living and infect their victims with deformity and disease. A deeply buried instinct emerges: he can kill these monsters and heal their victims. Haunted by suppressed memories, George’s sanity begins to slip away as he becomes consumed with his new responsibility. This dark and dangerous path will lead to new friends and allies, and enemies George never could have imagined. The Edge of the Cemetery: George works alongside his new friends and assists the Watchers: an international group of ghost killers and supernatural experts who monitor the world for ghostly sightings and demon infestations to maintain the balance between the living and the dead. When San Francisco and the surrounding area are suddenly plagued by rogue groups of ghosts and demons, the Watchers know it isn’t a random occurrence. As George and the Watchers investigate, they discover that a demonic presence is behind the attacks. With the clock ticking against them, they must find the source of the evil and destroy it, or risk extinction of all humankind. What Hunts Me: In the attic of the large Edwardian house in San Francisco owned by the Watchers, a box is discovered. In the box are various documents of ghost killers and a diary that chronicles an epic journey from Pennsylvania to San Francisco, along the route of the newly opened Lincoln Highway. Strange drawings and nonsensical writings in the diary tell of something sinister. The final entry is loud and clear: the writer of the diary is a ghost killer, and he is being hunted. George soon travels to San Francisco to investigate, and the more he learns, the clearer it becomes that something horrible happened in 1915. A monstrous creature has reanimated, and it is searching for something. As supernatural forces come into play, George and his friends are propelled into a fight for their lives.

Book Aristotle s Lost Homeric Problems

Download or read book Aristotle s Lost Homeric Problems written by Robert Mayhew and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2019-01-31 with total page 263 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume takes as its focus an oft-neglected work of ancient philosophy: Aristotle's lost Homeric Problems. The evidence for this lost work consists mostly of 'fragments' surviving in the Homeric scholia - comments in the margins of the medieval manuscripts of the Homeric epics, mostly coming from lost commentaries on these epics - though the series of studies presented here puts forward a persuasive case that other sources have been overlooked. These studies focus on various aspects of the Homeric Problems and are grouped into three parts. The first deals with preliminary issues: the relationship of this lost work to the Homeric scholarship that came before it, and to Aristotle's comments on Homeric scholarship in his extant Poetics; the evidence concerning the possible titles of this work; and a neglected early edition of the fragments. Following on from this, the second part attempts to expand our knowledge of the Homeric Problems through an examination in context of quotations from (or allusions to) Homer in Aristotle's extant works, and specifically in the History of Animals, the Rhetoric, and Poetics 21, while Part Three consists of four studies on select (and in most cases disregarded) fragments. Collectively the chapters support the conclusion that Aristotle in the Homeric Problems aimed to defend Homer against his critics, but not slavishly and without employing allegorical interpretation; within the context of a renewed interest in Aristotle's lost works, the volume as a whole brings much needed illumination to a virtually unknown ancient work involving not one but two giants of the classical world.

Book Serial Killer Quarterly Vol 1 No 2 Partners in Pain

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Triple feature edition! Issue #2 of Serial Killer Quarterly, "Partners in Pain" recounts the gruesome tales of 15 serial murderers operating in 7 different teams from 19th century Scotland to 21st century Santa Monica. Bestselling author Cathy Scott guides the reader through the fog choked alleyways of Edinburgh where Irishmen William Burke and William Hare fatally suffocated up to 25 people in 1828. Our second feature by Dr. Katherine Ramsland focuses on Houston's wicked "Candy Man" Dean Corll - one of the most sadistic murderers in 20th century criminal history. Feature number three takes us back to the United Kingdom as Carol Anne Davis explores whether both John Duffy and David Mulcahy were truly the "Railway Killers". Kim Cresswell relays the perverse folie a deux of Doug Clark and Carol Bundy whose rampage began in 1980 on LA's sunset strip. Robert Hoshowsky and Curtis Yateman write of confinement and torture in their pieces on Leonard Lake and Charles Ng and "Ken and Barbie Killers" Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. Lastly, Aaron Elliott takes a look at a rare female-female serial killer duo, LA's Helen Golay and Olga Rutterschmidt, who drugged and ran over two men with their car in order to collect on their life insurance policies. Also includes, Anthony Servante's analysis of poems by the Zodiac Killer, Joseph Kallinger, and Israel Keyes, and a review of the film 'Natural Born Killers'.
