Book excerpt: As humans, we focus a lot on the mechanics but a child or a seed is not worried, how they will grow. They are born to grow and the only condition required for their growth is a proper or favorable environment. Similarly, the proper or favorable environment here is our prayer. Our part in the kingdom and as believers, we need to pray and ask and God knows how to provide because He promised us that our prayers will be answered. Matthew 7:7-8 " Ask it will be given......For every one that asketh receiveth.." In my volume one, I shared different types of prayers and their importance and in this book, I am sharing some more types of prayers which I have been practicing and preaching more than a decade. The Bible says ""All Kinds of Prayers"", they are (1) Prayer (2) petition(3) supplication (4) intercession (5) Praise (6) Thanksgiving (7) worship (8) Declaration or Decree Whether it was a prayer, supplication, intercession, praise, thanksgiving, worship, crying, whispering, or dancing God accepted all and answered His children. Lord Jesus was also had the habit of praying. And if it was important to Him then it's important for us also. I pray to God the Father in Lord Jesus' name that this book would be a blessing to all the readers and the Holy Spirit will speak and reveal some new things to you. God Bless!

Book The Book of Uncommon Prayer

Download or read book The Book of Uncommon Prayer written by Steve L. Case and published by Harper Collins. This book was released on 2002 with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why do you need this book? Because there are treasures in tradition. In stark contrast to the common belief that youth workers require nothing less than a light show, smoke machine, and sweaty punk-rock band to reach teenagers' souls, more and more youth have actually been moving toward depth and quiet---and away from fluff and noise. Creeds, candles, silence, and ancient spiritual practices are all gaining understanding and popularity among students who're passionately seeking otherworldly and mysterious fragrances. They're realizing that there are treasures in tradition. The Book of Uncommon Prayer is your tool for unearthing, dusting off, and tapping into these treasures---but in ways that are completely contemporary and, more importantly, completely relevant to students. It's personal. The prayers and worship services inside are written for youth ministry---for students and for youth workers! They tell the from-the-gut truth about what you and your kids face every day---and in language that won't leave anybody scratching their heads. It's practical. These tools are for just about any situation you can think of. Need a prayer for a lock-in? For family? For loving enemies? For final exams? How about a mind-blowing 'Dumpster' Christmas service? An eye-opening service for All Hallows Eve? Or the most intense service for Good Friday you've ever experienced? They're all here---along with many other innovative vehicles for bringing your students into communion with God. It's unparalleled. This book is for all denominations. It doesn't matter if you're mainline or evangelical, Protestant or Catholic; The Book of Uncommon Prayer is geared for all teenagers and youth workers in Jesus' church! There's also an entire section of devotions and prayers written specifically for you, the youth worker, to renew and strengthen you when times are tough. Plus...we've included a bonus music CD in the back---Eucharist---an at-once moody and energetic, ancient-postmodern collection of songs straight from the 'alternative worship' movement in the United Kingdom. Many services inside use songs from the Eucharist CD, and there's even an entire service that uses the CD from start to finish. Mysterious. Practical. Treasure-filled. (Yes, uncommon, too!) The Book of Uncommon Prayer is a rich source of God-revealing worship and a one-of-a-kind guide for personal renewal that youth workers, camp counselors, Sunday school teachers, adult volunteers (and even students) will love.

Book The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Prayer Volume 2

Download or read book The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Prayer Volume 2 written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on with total page 1203 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Prayer (Volume 2)” contains the following books: 1) The Art of Intercession 2) The Practice of Intercession 3) Practical Spiritual Warfare Through Prayer 4) Life-Changing Thoughts on Prayer (Volume 1) 5) The Overthrow of Principalities and Powers 6) The Prophecy of the Overthrow of the Satanic Prince of Douala 7) The Prophecy of the Overthrow of the Prince of Cameroon Having left the ABCs of prayer behind, this volume deals with the intricacies of intercession, spiritual warfare, and the overthrow of satanic princes ruling entire nations behind the scenes. It tackles both the art and practice of intercession. Simply put, intercession is both the art and practice by a righteous, blameless, and absolutely consecrated person, to accept, stand in the gap, and defend a person or people that God has targeted for destruction due to their brazen and sustained violation of His will. The Lord’s response to Moses’ intercession and entreaty for the children of Israel was swift and dramatic. The Bible says, “Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened”(Exodus 32:14). That was intercession in both its art and practice. So many advanced believers in Christ don’t even believe that satanic princes exist. They exist. They are so real, so devastating in their work and so strangulating in their grip of people and their affairs, that you can only ignore them to your own undoing. Daniel battled these satanic princes all his adult life in exile in the Babylonian, Persian, and Median realms. He did so through strategic, prevailing, and sustained prayer and fasting (Daniel 10:1-21; 11:1). He battled in prayer and fasting until the satanic princes of Persia and Greece, which were opposing God’s purposes, were overcame, overturned, and overthrown. We send this second prayer volume out with a cry to the Lord that He should use it to teach the church of the Firstborn the intricacies of intercession and spiritual warfare. In this age of atheism, agnosticism, humanism, espionage, robots, sophisticated gadgets, and the Internet, there was never a time we needed intercession and spiritual warfare like now.

Book The Ultimate Significance of the Golden Lampstand

Download or read book The Ultimate Significance of the Golden Lampstand written by Witness Lee and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 1998-03-01 with total page 85 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The speaking concerning the golden lampstand in the Bible is in three stages: The first stage is the golden lampstand, the second stage is the golden lampstand with the olive oil (the Holy Spirit), and the third stage is the singular lampstand becoming the plural lampstands—one lampstand becoming many lampstands. This is very meaningful. In Exodus 25, the emphasis of the lampstand is on Christ; in Zechariah 4, the emphasis is on the Holy Spirit; and in Revelation 1, the emphasis is on the churches. All three passages mention the lampstand, but in the first passage Christ is emphasized, in the second passage the Holy Spirit is emphasized, and in the third passage the churches are brought forth.
