Book The Seed of the Woman and the Power of Darkness

Download or read book The Seed of the Woman and the Power of Darkness written by Donbor Syiemlieh and published by Educreation Publishing. This book was released on with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are so many questions in our life that we could not get the satisfactory answers – Why do fossils occurred; why are human beings superior to other creatures; why do human beings speak different languages; what is the origin of idol worship; how giants existed in this world in the ancient times; who built huge structures like the Egyptian’s pyramids; how did people go and live in secluded islands in the midst of vast oceans since ancient times; why didn’t people invent modern machines and equipments since ancient times when human beings have no different brain structures; why did powerful empires - Egyptian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman sequentially exist in this earth; why are Christmas traditions celebrated fervently both in the Christian world and non-Christian world. When God saved me, He gradually revealed the answers to the above questions directly and indirectly. He then inspired me to write down the answers in the form of a Book which reflected God’s love story to save fallen human beings. In doing this, the war broke out between God and the power of darkness (Satan) who tried to prevent the Seed of the Woman (Jesus) from being born into this earth. In short, Satan tried to enslave human beings and keep the world under his control forever. But God’s plan is superior to Satan’s deceptive devices. God’s plan to bring back saved human beings to a perfect life as in the days of the Garden of Eden would soon be manifested any time now

Book The Mystery of God s Woman and Her Seed

Download or read book The Mystery of God s Woman and Her Seed written by Rev. Stanley Curby and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2009-02-28 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book demonstrates, through the full text of the scriptures, that women have the same God-given rights as men to preach, teach, and serve in the same offices of the church as men, doing everything spiritually that men do according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul wrote, And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh in all But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will (1 Cor. 12:6, 11). It also shows that the opposition against the women that are called to preach and teach the word of God is a calculated plan that is instigated by Satan to prevent them from fulfilling the will of God.

Book The Seed and the Soil

Download or read book The Seed and the Soil written by Carol Delaney and published by Univ of California Press. This book was released on 1991-11-14 with total page 380 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How do the metaphors we use to describe procreation affect our view of the relative worth of each gender? Carol Delaney discloses the powerful meanings condensed in the seemingly innocent images of "seed" and "soil." Drawing on her work in a small Turkish village of Sunni Muslims, she shows us that the images are categorically different, hierarchically ordered, and unequally valued. The ways in which the creation of a child is understood in Turkey furnish a key to understanding a whole range of Turkish attitudes toward sexuality and gender, honor and shame, authority and submission, time and space, inside and outside, open and closed. Moreover, the symbols and meanings by which they represent procreation provide the means for understanding relationships between such seemingly disparate elements as the body, family, house, village, nation, this-world and other-world. Delaney points out that these symbols do not embellish reality; they provide the key to a particular conception of it, a conception that gives coherence to social life. The patterns revealed are not distinctly Turkish; they also comment on some of our own deeply-held assumptions and values about procreation.

Book A Student s Notes on Genesis

Download or read book A Student s Notes on Genesis written by Eleanor Rupp and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2016-04-08 with total page 251 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Curious about ancient stories, once a part of our culture, that schools fail to teach today? Our Supreme Court gave guidelines so classes could read them, so why don't they? Are schools fearful that teachers will present the stories for religious purposes? Shouldn't students know of Eve and her fatal choice of pride's poison, a poison that took her life, sent one son to the grave, and condemned her firstborn to wander the earth? Shouldn't they know of Lamech, drunk on that same poison, singing self-exalting songs of brutality and leading the world into a violence that could be cleansed only by raging floods? Also, for their great comfort, shouldn't students know of Jacob's sons, so much like Cain yet united by a brother who laid aside pride's call for revenge--even pride's call for personal justice? This book leads public school students through the first part of the world's hidden-away bestseller, marking out a path through the legal thickets and pits of the Bible into the hearts of the ancients--people who had the same joys, sorrows, failures, and hopes that all of us have, even today. A Student's Notes on Genesis is for curious-minded students and for public school teachers who know that education should include the world's bestseller.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE SERPENTS SEED expounds upon a Biblical doctrine that is essential for the proper understanding of both the Scriptures and the present day, but which has remained obscured for the past fifteen hundred years. And the doctrine is this: that since the creation of man we have been at war, not only against Satan and his corruptive influences, but against the literal offspring of fallen angels and mortal women. These hybrid creatures reigned during the days of Noah and Abraham, battled Joshua and King David for control of Israel, tormented the Jews during the time of Jesus, and continue to roam the earth even today. Our society, even our church, has fallen under the sway of these ancient and terrible beings. Thus The Serpents Seed was written so that we might not depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1st Timothy 4:1).
