AnnaBelle's life is one of twists and turns. Married twice, divorced twice, two daughters, and a gypsy spirit. The story leads into Carolyn's life as the journey continues. Her childhood, marraige, loves, temptations, and the decisions that would remain in her heart and haunt her dreams. As she will eventually learn...The heart does go on. Book AnnaBelle s Spirit

Download or read book AnnaBelle s Spirit written by Carolyn Sue Morris and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2009-09 with total page 182 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: AnnaBelle's Spirit" is the follow-up to "The Journey, The Dreams, & AnnaBelle" The writing in this book takes the story to the next level, adding more depth to the already troubling life of AnnaBelle and her two daughters. It tells of her first husband, how he destroyed her young dreams, and forever altered her faith and trust in men. Leaving her with two small children, and a mountain of debt that she alone would have to deal with. Then came the "step -dad from hell". The girls jokingly referred to him as "Daddy Dearest". He ruled their lives for nine miserable years before they were rid of him. AnnaBelle moved her daughters from St Petersburg, eventually settling in Indianapolis. AnnaBelle's work brought her in contact with politicians, movie stars, racers, and then the DiMaggio family after a move to San Francisco. There would never be another man in her life to tell her what to do, or intimidate her daughters. Although this story focuses on AnnaBelle, it eventually includes life from Carolyn's perspective. It follows both women on a journey through a lifetime of challenges, dreams, and temptations. One of Carolyn's decisions continues to haunt her dreams, as well as her waking hours. Both she and her mother possess the gypsy spirit that would prove to be difficult to control at times. The continuing saga of the Wicker and Bollan women attests to the strength of these families. From 1924 to 2007, a lifetime of dreams, a lifetime of journeys. Throughout the book you will find the subtle humor Carolyn uses in everyday life. You will also find family photographs that span the timeline of the story. As with her first book, she hopes this will bring the family to life for her readers.

Book excerpt: People for years have studied the mysteries of life trying to unravel the truth behind the divine existence of human’s, where and when it started and how it evolved to where we are today. Many people don’t believe in reincarnation and yet many others do. The possibility of the “past life” phenomenon is quite unique and puzzling. To consider that we have all lived before, had different lives, lived in different times that is a fantastic conception. In thought, wouldn’t it be wild and wonderful to have many different lives? If we all knew that this was a reality, would we disregard the difficult lives and choose to go on to the next? If we knew that there was a “do over,” so to speak, what impact would that have on the one that we are living? I find the whole conception of past lives exciting and intriguing. This book is a fantasy story depicting the mysterious realms of past lives and how it could have all began. I profess no specific knowledge or expertise on the subject. Everyone has an opinion and this is mine. I hope you enjoy the possibility of this wondrous depiction.

Due to the paper’s given length and the particular subject chosen, the following analysis will mainly focus on Ifemelu and her experiences, as she actually leaves Nigeria for the U.S. and then comes back to her home country, thus representing the perfect research subject under the thesis of the American Dream, it’s reliving and consequences through her personae. As for Obinze, who experiences similar difficulties in the U.K., a comparison does present itself, but can only be the subject of another research paper.
