Descendants eventually scattered throughout the country.

His wife, Mary (d. 1662), was also born in England. She died in New Haven, Ct. They had thirteen children. He married (2) 1662 in New Haven, Ct., Hannah Bascom Broughton (ca. 1640-1681) of Dorchester, Mass. They had four children. Descendants and family members live in Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.
