Book The Influences That Moulded Him People And Books

Download or read book The Influences That Moulded Him People And Books written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on 1901 with total page 749 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum never claimed to be a self-made man. Self-made people may end up as spiritual men, but not spiritual leaders. Spiritual leaders are a concatenation of kaleidoscopic influences. When God determines to use a man for His glory and for the advance of His kingdom, He moulds him through manifold human, angelic, spiritual and normal life influences. He finally becomes an ordinary man with an extraordinary life. "FROM HIS LIPS: THE INFLUENCES THAT MOULDED HIM" delves into the plethora of influences that moulded Him into the spiritual leader of his generation. From among his own people, he was influenced by his own family, parents, siblings, teachers, university lecturers and colleagues. He was influenced constructively by people across the board from every culture. From the Western World, there were such influential figures in his life like Professor Landor, John Wesley, Charles Finney and Charles Spurgeon, just to name a few. Watchman Nee from the Oriental World was like a spiritual father and main influence to him. He read many of his books from cover to cover on his knees. African and academic influences such as Professor Sundengam, Ruth Sengat Kouo and Bishop Festo Kivengere, among a host of others, made him a citizen of heaven in the world. With such an equilibrium of diverse cultural and spiritual influences, the Lord used him to speak to every manner of culture without fear or favour and without mincing words. These human and printed page influences moulded him and, he, in turn, was used by the Lord to mould and transform the lives of multitudes around the world. Read this book and that transformation will be yours

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The raising and training of competent ministers of the gospel were one of the three burdens that the author, Professor Z.T. Fomum carried permanently in his heart, alongside those of prayer and soul-winning. As disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to face the challenge of the unfinished task of the evangelization of all nations. More than two centuries after the ascension of Jesus, there are still many people groups that are yet to be reached with the gospel of salvation. And as members of the body of Christ, we, the people of Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI) are called to bring one billion people from 250 nations to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior who are discipled to obey Him in all things by the year 2065 A.D. Professor Fomum was concerned not only by the challenge of an unfinished task but also by the eternal loss of many souls for whom Christ died. To this end, competent ministers of the New Covenant are in short supply. That is the essence of The Work is The Worker–a desperate attempt to produce the kind of workers who will do the work to the satisfaction of God’s heart. This second volume comprises teachings delivered at various sessions of the CMFI Missionary Academy–The School of Knowing and Serving God (SKSG) between 1999 and 2009.

Book The Shepherd and the Flock

Download or read book The Shepherd and the Flock written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on 2016-07-13 with total page 140 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a ROADMAP for Pastors and House Church Leaders! The training of church leaders has been one of Z.T Fomum's main areas of contribution to church growth. Leading a House Church was born out of the burden and need for competent pastors for the growing number of House Churches in the city of Yaounde. The lessons in the book are practical applications of the theory and doctrine developed in The Ministers and the Ministry of the New Covenant—The Challenge of Missions—also written by the author. According to the author, a pastor is a person who bears the flock on his heart. He focus on the character and personality of the one called to take the flock in their arms, as a nurse carries an infant, to bring them to the Promised Land of God. As a veteran on the subject, Z.T. Fomum presents a heart-to-heart exposé on the disciplines of the pastoral ministry, including a broad spectrum of both the practical aspects and the dynamics of leading a house church before God. If you desire to be a pastor, this book will help you on seeking and receiving the pastor's heart. We send them out with a heart-cry that they contribute to produce the type of leaders that are needed for the Lord's flock on the eve of His imminent return.

Book From His Lips About His Co workers

Download or read book From His Lips About His Co workers written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on with total page 403 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Brother Zach defined his role in the work of God and functioned essentially as a team leader. He understood the work of God and leadership in terms of receiving from God His will and methods for His work, but he also looked to God to receive the men and women who were God's workers in the work. These became his co-workers. He was their team leader. Some of the co-workers and co-leaders in his team served for short periods, and some served with him a lifelong commitment. From his lips, we can enter into the spiritual environment, and into the lives of the men and women who served the Lord with him. For the purposes of testimony, many statements for correction, rebuke, and re-alignment have been deliberately omitted because the public nature of the book is inappropriate for such a ministry of perfection and intimacy. We have shared what came from his lips to motivate his co-workers, and that reflects his absolute faith not only in God but in those that had teamed up with him. He saw the good and he built on the good, and around such a leader, many unusual men and women emerged as is evident in these anecdotes. May the Lord build you as you read, and may the Lord build you as you share in an unusual leader building men and women for God's work.

Book Separation from the Common

Download or read book Separation from the Common written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on with total page 186 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Separation from the Common, author Zacharias Tanee Fomum shares his personal journey of obedience to God's call to live a life of separation from the ordinary. Fomum's journey began with small steps of obedience, like giving away his suits when God asked him to, but it soon became a radical commitment to living a life different from what obtains in the world around him. Using biblical examples and others from Church history, Fomum makes the case that all who are called by God to specific tasks are called away from the ordinary life and to uncommon lifestyle, He argues that success and distinction come at a great price and that responsibility curtails a person's freedom. Fomum's book challenges readers to consider whether they are willing to pay the price for success and follow the narrow way that Jesus walked. Through his own story and reflections on the Scripture, Fomum offers encouragement to those who are willing to heed God's call to a life of separation from the common. He reminds readers that they can hear God's voice and that He will be their guide and helper on the path to success in Him. Separation from the Common is a challenging and inspiring call to a radical commitment to Christ and a life that stands out from the crowd.

Sin, disobedience, hardening of heart and impurity destroy the good conscience and produce a defiled conscience. When the conscience is defiled, faith cannot be born. Lack of repentance, and a hardened heart produce a seared and dead conscience to the point where, when God speaks, you no longer feel anything. This book by Professor Fomum is a description of the state of man's conscience. His burden is to get every believer to cooperate with God to have a clear conscience before God and before man. A strong and clear conscience speaks of the possibility of letting in the light of God, for the strong conscience is full of the Holy Spirit. From a detailed explanation of each state of conscience, Professor Fomum demonstrates that the Lord has done everything possible to make sure that every believer has a conscience that is functioning at the highest possible level. His prayer is that everyone should step into the health of God for their conscience and become whatever God wants them to become in their relationship with Him. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Walking with God is a profound exploration of the Holy Spirit's presence and workings within and through us. The author, Z.T. Fomum emphasizes that every consecrated life becomes a channel for the release of supernatural power, with consecration leading to a life rich in spiritual vitality. The book underscores that all of God's power resides within us, and through prayer, knowledge of God's Word, and a life consecrated to the Lord, believers can unleash this inherent power. The inheritance of baptism into the Holy Spirit is demystified, with Fomum simplifying the process, likening it to claiming what is rightfully ours. He asserts that the implications of being filled with the Holy Spirit may lead to significant life changes, including parting with former plans and embracing a new direction. The exploration extends to God's permissive will, where Fomum discusses the delay in judgment for those who deviate from God's perfect will. The book delves into the characteristics of God's permissive will, cautioning that apparent blessings in this state may mask underlying difficulties that manifest later. Walking with God offers practical insights into the complexities of maintaining a daily touch with God.

Book The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Holiness

Download or read book The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Holiness written by Zacharias Tanee Fomum and published by ZTF Books Online. This book was released on with total page 1024 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Complete Works of Zacharias Tanee Fomum on Holiness contains the following books: True Repentance Restitution Deliverance from Sin The Way of Sanctification You Can Receive a Pure Heart Today The School of Truth The Believer’s Conscience The Sin before You Can Lead to Death: Do not commit it! A Vessel of Honour A Broken Vessel Holiness seems to have become an elusive theme in our day. Many preachers prefer to shy away from preaching it. Why? Because they don’t live it. In this way, the enemy is fighting holiness like nothing else, since he knows we have all been commanded to be holy, even as He is holy (Leviticus 19:2). The Bible says, “You must distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean, and you must teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses” (Leviticus 10:10-11). So holiness has to do with being uncommon and extraordinary, clean at heart, and teaching it by example. This makes holiness a subject that is related to sinlessness, righteousness, and godliness. It begins with true repentance. A person who has not known true repentance unto God and faith in the Lord Jesus, cannot be holy. Attempting holiness without true repentance would be wood, hay, and stubble, ready to be burned in the fire. He who repents truly will naturally and easily carry out restitution for past stolen, defrauded, borrowed, or unpaid things. Every holy person is uncommon in that he has experienced deliverance from all sin, through knowing, reckoning, yielding entirely to God, and walking in the Spirit. He has entered the way of sanctification. He has received a pure heart and enrolled in the School of Truth. A holy man is a man with an all-good conscience, who shuns all sin because he cherishes his relationship with God. He refrains from all sin because he would not want to court God’s judgment. He has willingly offered himself to be broken and, for that reason, has become a vessel of honour. Following the simple, practical steps outlined in this anthology will carry you into the way of holiness. We send this first volume on holiness out with a cry to the Lord that, He should use it to bring many to the way of holiness that has become so elusive in our day.
