And no one noticed because his mathematics only separated from the actual sky, about 1 degree every seventy-two years!Now, however, some twenty-three, seventy-two years periods later, we have a mathematics of western astrology which is more than 23 degrees 'off' those exact movements of the stars and planets from above.For Fagan, this was a very deplorable mistake and one that should be corrected, as soon as possible.He then introduced a completely new, 23-degree different mathematics which then became known as the Sidereal western astrological system.And, even now, just 60-years later, so many professional western astrologers and students have learned this so very different western system, that the old, antiquated, traditional western system is now beginning to be called Tropical western astrology.Then there is that traditional eastern system of astrology which is also, today, changing in more important and profound ways than ever before!Though, since this system has long been actual sky or Sidereal in terms of its mathematics, it hasn't needed to change in this way. Instead, a very intense and pervasive "fatalism" has long existed within this traditional eastern system which has turned out to have the most surprising and stifling and negative results!For example, much of the real power and profundities of astrology is not discovered, if such a fatalistic perspective found dominating. Today, more of this very pervasive fatalism is now beginning to disappear than ever before.And of all of these most important and profound of changes going on today, the most significant of all is in terms of 'how' astrology is now beginning to be understood and practiced as the most important of Self-development tools.Almost exclusively in the past, astrology has only been "diagnostic" oriented or about 'how' our charts, profoundly fit us.
