Mr. Fabrice stands his grounds, Miss Asunder calls the police against Mr. Fabrice, he is arrested and his trial is on the same day of his wedding with Miss Angel. Miss Angel presents herself in court on the day of the trial with her wedding gown, and after the trial, Mr. Fabrice is declared not guilty and so the judge decides to marry Mr. Fabrice and Miss Angel in front of Miss Asunder. The messages on life and on truth were given in the evening of each Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, and the messages on the church and on service were given in the evening of each Thursday. The messages given in the evening focused on these four main areas, and the messages given in the morning were devoted to fellowship concerning personal problems, spiritual problems, the church, the local churches, the Lord's Day gathering, practical service, prayer, and Christian practices. The contents of this volume are as follows: 1. Eighteen messages concerning life given on July 13 through August 20 as part of the summer training. Miscellaneous fellowship given by Brother Lee to the saints in the Los Angeles area from July 19 through August 24. These messages are included in this volume under the title Miscellaneous Speakings. The contents of this section were composed from personal notes taken by brothers who were present in the meetings. During the entire month of April Brother Lee traveled to Stuttgart, Germany, and Copenhagen, Denmark, after which he visited Boston, Massachusetts, and New York City before returning to Anaheim. Brother Lee ministered in Seattle, Washington, over the Memorial Day weekend near the end of May, and he returned to Anaheim and remained there, except for a one-day visit to Fullerton, until the end of August. He then held a weekend conference in Cleveland, Ohio, after which he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the middle of September. On the third weekend in September Brother Lee ministered in Spokane, Washington, and returned to Anaheim. On the first weekend in October he visited Berkeley, California, for two days, and then he returned to Anaheim, where he remained until the middle of October. He ministered in Miami, Florida, on the third weekend in October, and he remained there for rest through the second weekend in November. He returned to Anaheim and ministered there until the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into three sections, as follows: 1. Three messages given in Anaheim and Fullerton, California, on January 6 and on August 10 and 14. These messages are included in this volume under the title Miscellaneous Messages. 2. A message given in Anaheim, California, on May 19. This message is included in this volume under the title Our Spiritual Situation and the Lord's Recovery. 3. Fifty-eight messages given in Anaheim, California, on February 14, 1980, through May 21, 1982. They were previously published in a fifty-six-chapter book entitled Perfecting Training and are included in this volume under the same title.
