  • Pages : 264 pages

Download or read book The Birth of Jesus written by Elda Sullins and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-10-17 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is God who has spoken to mankind this time through his loving Son, Jesus Christ, who has come to save our souls. This is the one whose birth, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and the greatest commission were accomplished. An ancient promise speaks of a new holy righteous convent, which will be everlasting in order to save the whole world. As a result of the gracious gift of life and the unfailing love of God that never dies, Emmanuel is the promised king messiah, who is going to come and take back the lost relationship between God and his people. Jesus Christ was God's plan to bring heaven to earth to fulfill the ultimate plan of righteousness that has existed since the beginning of time. The Lord has filled every hole in the heart of humanity with his grace. As God's creation, we are created to be able to fulfill the purpose for which he created us by knowing him in an intimate, personal relationship and experiencing real joy and satisfaction in our lives. Adam and Eve were the first man and woman that God created in his image, and they knew this joy in a perfect fellowship with him until they chose to disobey him. Although they tried to cover up their sin, they were unable to avoid the curse that sin has brought to the world as a result of their sin. As God purposed in Romans 5:12, so that they would once again have a right relationship with him, he devised a miraculous master plan. An instruction was given by God to sacrifice a lamb or to sacrifice an animal of a particular type and shed its blood. To make up for the sins of the people, the animal's death would serve as a substitute to compensate for their sins. Although that did remove their sin, it was only a foreshadow of what was to come (Hebrews 9:19-28). It was only to be the fulfillment of what had been promised (Hebrews 10:1-14). By God's will, we have been sanctified, once and for all, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ's body. It is only through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross that sin can be wiped away. In order to achieve permanent forgiveness, God has designed a plan. Due to his great love, God gave of himself in order to ensure our untimely sustainability in John 3:16-17. He offers his Son, Jesus, as the perfect Lamb of God. In the Gospel of John, Christ gives his life on the cross in order to make reconciliation with God eternal. He gave his life in order for us to be forgiven. According to 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, he died for our sins. He is our redemption through his blood, and we are the beneficiaries of his grace through the forgiveness of our sins as a result of his blood (Ephesians 1:7). A new life is given to us by God, who offers us the chance to be saved from the penalty of hell and a future in heaven to give us a new life in him. According to Romans 6:23, Jesus said in John 14:2-3 that he gives them the right to become children of God (2 Corinthians 5:17). When we accept him as our Lord and Savior, we are given a new life in him (John 1:12). In this way, God gave us a new life in him as his child! The only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ (John 14-16), according to Romans 5:1. God's plan is a gift that he has offered to each of us, not a reward that will be earned by working to achieve it. Our own sin must be seen as God sees it in Ephesians 2:8-9. Your eternal fate in hell depends on whether you're safe or not. Accept Jesus as your Savior by faith in your heart, and ask God for forgiveness from the depths of your heart. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10, "You can accept Jesus as your savior right now, by praying directly from your heart."

Download or read book The Crucifixion written by Fleming Rutledge and published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing. This book was released on 2015 with total page 695 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Few treatments of the death of Jesus Christ have made a point of accounting for the gruesome, degrading, public manner of his death by crucifixion, a mode of execution so loathsome that the ancient Romans never spoke of it in polite society. Rutledge probes all the various themes and motifs used by the New Testament evangelists and apostolic writers to explain the meaning of the cross of Christ. She shows how each of the biblical themes contributes to the whole, with the Christus Victor motif and the concept of substitution sharing pride of place along with Irenaeus's recapitulation model.

Other books have recorded the crucifixion and resurrection, but never before has the reader been ushered into unseen realms to witness the power of the cross as seen from the view of God the Father. You will discover a whole world of new meaning of Christ's death as you witness the destruction of the world systems, the annihilation of the law, the end of Adam's fallen race...and the death of Death. Here is an unequaled drama of power and depth which Christian literature has rarely, if ever, achieved. Edward's The Day I Was Crucified As Told By Jesus the Christ now takes its place among the greatest of Christian literature. We will still be reading this book 200 years from now, and still weeping (and praising) as we read. This is one of those rare life-transforming books.

Book The Cross and the Crucifixion

Download or read book The Cross and the Crucifixion written by Grace Dola Balogun and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2011-12-13 with total page 112 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christ paid for the sins of the people of the world on the cross. The work of redemption of God the Father, through God the Son, which started at the Garden of Eden, was completed on the day that Christ was crucified on the cross. As the great hymn says, "On the cross is when I first saw the Lord, and all my sins rolled away." All believers must come to the realization that the cross of Christ is the basis for our salvation. If Christ did not go to the cross, there would be no salvation and no eternal life. We would still be in our sins. We should all praise and glorify the God of glory for the finished work of salvation on the cross. If some churches preach and say to forget the cross-that Christ is no longer on the tree-those preachers are not preaching the true Gospel. The cross should be in our churches and in our homes, to remind us of the agony of our Lord, so that we may totally surrender to His Lordship and live with Him from this earth to heaven. Let us embrace the cross, the power, and the love of Jesus Christ for humanity through His crucifixion on the cross.

Book The End of the Fiery Sword Adam Eve and Jesus Mary

Download or read book The End of the Fiery Sword Adam Eve and Jesus Mary written by Maura Roan McKeegan and published by Emmaus Road Publishing. This book was released on 2014-10-01 with total page 24 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What do Adam and Jesus have in common? What do Eve and Mary have in common? More than you think! With full color illustrations, Maura Roan McKeegan has brought to life biblical typology for children. Taking familiar biblical stories from the Old and New Testaments and placing them side by side, children can see biblical typology jump off the page. Biblical typology is when a person or an event in the Old Testament foreshadows a person or an event in the New Testament. The Bible is full of these fascinating “types.” Children can now discover similarities of types without any difficulty, and easily understand at an early age what St. Augustine meant when he said that the New Testament lies hidden in the Old and the Old Testament is revealed in the New. Recommended for ages 3 and up.
