Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The letter of Jesus Christ is not something you will find in the Bible; it is not something you will find in many places at all—but for hundreds of years, the “Epistle of Jesus Christ to Abgarus King of Edessa” was one of the greatest legends of the early church. In many ways, it sounds like a church conspiracy straight from the pages of the Da Vinci code; the reality is, however, the legend lost popularity as people began to question its authority. In this book, the origins of the letter (along with the actual text of the letter) are revealed—along with it you will learn about the different theories of the legend, its relationship to the Shroud of Turin. From obscure history and little known facts to insight into the possible origin of one of the most famous relics of the twentieth century, this short book is one not to be missed. HistoryCaps is an imprint of BookCaps Study Guides. With each book, a brief period of history is recapped. We publish a wide array of topics (from baseball and music to science and philosophy), so check our growing catalogue regularly to see our newest books.

Book Suppressed Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament Vol 5

Download or read book Suppressed Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament Vol 5 written by Various Authors and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-07-09 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Priceless knowledge on Christianity! This volume contains The Martyrdom of The Holy and Glorious Bartholomew, The Book of Mary Magdalene, The Parabolic Understanding of The 153 Fish, The 2nd Book of Adam and Eve, The 2nd Epistle of Clement to The Corinthians, The Parable of The Ten Virgins, The 1st Apocalypse of James, The Acts of John, The Acts of Paul and Thecla, The Agrapha or Hidden Words of Jesus, The Apocryphon of James, The Apocryphon of John, The Arabic Gospel of the Infancy of the Savior, The Assumption of Moses, The Book of The Resurrection of Christ, The Dialogue of The Savior, The Epistle of Barnabas, The Epistle of Mathetes to Diognetus, The Epistles of Jesus Christ and Abgarus King of Edessa and The First Book of Adam and Eve. If you read this series, you will continuously see how these works that are NOT included in The New Testament, contain writings that represent some of the same events, quotes, language and tone that are in the currently published New Testament, and they should not be ignored, but read and studied in any manner possible. This series of books makes that study possible, in some cases for the first time, as new Gospels have been uncovered and translated, and are contained herein. In addition you will read where Jesus refers to 'The Holy Spirit' as his mother, an original account of 'The Lords Prayer' told years before Christ, additional prophecies of the life & death of Christ and different accounts of the crucifixion. This includes such priceless verses such as 'the kingdom of God is all around you but you do not see it', The Kingdom of God is NOW and IT is in YOU; split a piece of wood or turnover a rock and you will find ME. According to scholarly estimates, there were at least twenty gospels and many epistles that were removed from the biblical canon by various councils, such as The Council of Nicea, over a thousand years ago. Luckily, several that appeared to be missing have been found recently. The most important point is that the canon was edited for political and cultural reasons, to form a narrative that is different from actual events, and a full understanding of Christianity or CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY is not complete without a study of these additional works. The authors and councils that compiled and edited The New Testament texts got some of their information from earlier writings. Modern scholars call these earlier writings "sources," and have determined that there were probably three of them. These three lost sources may have been the first gospels. Their ancient names are unknown, so they are usually identified by modern names, specifically the Lost Q Source, the Pre- Markan Passion Narrative, and the Signs Gospel. Because no copies of any of them have been found, they are sometimes called hypothetical gospels. Other gospels have been discovered more directly, because actual physical remains have been found. Examples include The Gospel of Peter, the Gospel of Mary, and the Gospel of Judas. All of these were discovered in modern times. These rediscovered gospels are named after Simon Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Judas Iscariot. The Gospel of Mary has recently been verified in both ink and type of papyrus. Ancient writers mentioned a number of other gospels which existed. These include but are not limited too: The Gospel of Matthias, The Gospel of Perfection, The Gospel of the Seventy, The Dialogue of the Savior, The Gospel of the Twelve, The Book of the Hebrews, The Gospel of the Nazarenes, The Gospel of Bartholomew, The Secret Gospel of Mark, and The Gospel of Eve. Other gospels may have also existed. In addition early church leaders intentionally destroyed some books in order to cover up embarrassing facts about the origins of Christianity. These texts are a must read for those who wish to know the whole story surrounding the "New Testament."

According to scholarly estimates, there were at least twenty gospels and many epistles that were edited from the biblical canon by various councils, such as The Council of Nicea, over a thousand years ago. Many of these gospels disappeared later, although it's possible that copies of some of them still survive at unknown locations. Luckily, several that appeared to be missing have been found again in modern times. Their ancient names are unknown, so they are usually identified by modern names, specifically the Lost Q Source, the Pre- Markan Passion Narrative, and the Signs Gospel. Because no copies of any of them have been found, they are sometimes called hypothetical gospels. But most scholars believe that they really did exist at one time. Actually, these three missing gospels aren't completely lost, since material from them is preserved in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. In fact, considerable knowledge about their original content has been obtained by studying this preserved material. Other gospels have been discovered more directly, because actual physical remains have been found. Examples include The Gospel of Peter, the Gospel of Mary, and the Gospel of Judas. Download or read book Jesus King of Edessa written by Ralph Ellis and published by Edfu Books. This book was released on 2012 with total page 622 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus was a king of Edessa 600 pages of gnosis. Colour Images. This is the book that the Catholic Church has been dreading for the last 1700 years. This is the book that will end Christianity as we know it. And this is not advertising hyperbole, this really is the end of the Christian fairytale. We now know who Jesus was. Visit his city, see the ruins of his citadel, gaze upon his statue, handle his coins. In reality, Jesus was a son of King Abgarus of Edessa, a king with a small realm, a large treasury, and even bigger ambitions. Thus Jesus' true history undermines much of the biblical fairystory that the gospel authors crafted, and so Christianity will never be the same again. The jacket image shows Jesus wearing his Crown of Thorns, the ceremonial crown of the Edessan monarchy. We suggest that readers start with 'Cleopatra to Christ' and then 'King Jesus'. The wait before arriving at the last episode in the trilogy will be worthwhile, for if a book could be valued on its 'eureka moments' then this final book would be priceless. The 'King Jesus Trilogy' Latest version v12.1 2024 Book three of the King Jesus Trilogy (in four parts). Followed by 'The Grail Cypher'. .
