The inquiry made by persons in the Mother Country, who are desirous to settle in New Brunswick, is, what employment will they find there? And when they are informed that the principal occupation of the inhabitants is lumbering in the dense forests, amidst the deep snows of winter, they have no desire to venture upon a pursuit with which they are altogether unacquainted.
