His soul pushed by mysterious forces took off into the galactic space. Changed into a cosmic bio-energy entity, he reached Soulsland, the planet for souls' cosmic recycling. There, as a high bio-energy soul, he was assigned to protect other souls in his sector against the unexpected invasion of critters of a predatory planet, PP5x, who armed with powerful robots and gamma rays missileships tried to abduct many souls. Gregg dramatically defeated them using a clever strategy. He became an instant hero. This lead to his cosmic odyssey full of suspenseful and frantic struggles for survival culminated by flying with his friend Mike a pricely spaceship. After daring exploits, pursued by PP5x, who he defeated, he landed on RX7, a planet inhabited by beings of a unique civilization. They reincarnated there. Here, Grego discovered a vast Machiavellian conspiracy masterminded by a powerful MC planet ready to take over RX7. This plot conceived and carried out in Earthian fashion led to a cloak-and dagger affair. While the daring aerial and ground confrontations continued, Miko piloting a spaceship got caught in cosmic storm and ended on a distant small planet inhabited by a kind of hominids. With the navigational system restored he flew back to tell his fascinating story. Then the day of Armageddon came when Grego and his space fleet defeated in spectacular battles the MC space fleet armed with anti-proton bombs. The galactic supremacy of MC ended and with it the Machiavellian spirit of reincarnated Earthian souls. During the unfolding of these suspenseful encounters and thrilling events, Grego's love life was conflicted by two beautiful females, one of them sent to kill him. Did he meet his cosmic destiny or something else would happen to him?

Download or read book The Property of the Nation written by Matthew R. Costello and published by University Press of Kansas. This book was released on 2021-12-03 with total page 352 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: George Washington was an affluent slave owner who believed that republicanism and social hierarchy were vital to the young country’s survival. And yet, he remains largely free of the “elitist” label affixed to his contemporaries, as Washington evolved in public memory during the nineteenth century into a man of the common people, the father of democracy. This memory, we learn in The Property of the Nation, was a deliberately constructed image, shaped and reshaped over time, generally in service of one cause or another. Matthew R. Costello traces this process through the story of Washington’s tomb, whose history and popularity reflect the building of a memory of America’s first president—of, by, and for the American people. Washington’s resting place at his beloved Mount Vernon estate was at times as contested as his iconic image; and in Costello’s telling, the many attempts to move the first president’s bodily remains offer greater insight to the issue of memory and hero worship in early America. While describing the efforts of politicians, business owners, artists, and storytellers to define, influence, and profit from the memory of Washington at Mount Vernon, this book’s main focus is the memory-making process that took place among American citizens. As public access to the tomb increased over time, more and more ordinary Americans were drawn to Mount Vernon, and their participation in this nationalistic ritual helped further democratize Washington in the popular imagination. Shifting our attention from official days of commemoration and publicly orchestrated events to spontaneous visits by citizens, Costello’s book clearly demonstrates in compelling detail how the memory of George Washington slowly but surely became The Property of the Nation.

Download or read book Secret Journey to Planet Serpo written by Len Kasten and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2013-05-05 with total page 262 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Documents how 12 people, as part of a top-secret U.S. government program, traveled to the planet Serpo and lived there for 13 years • Based on the debriefing of the Serpo team and the diary of the expedition’s commander • Explains how the aliens helped us reverse-engineer their antigravity spacecraft and develop technology to solve our planet-wide energy problems • Reveals how our government has an ongoing relationship with the Serpo aliens On July 16, 1965, a massive alien spacecraft from the Zeta Reticuli star system landed at the Nevada test site north of Las Vegas. Following a plan set in motion by President Kennedy in 1962, the alien visitors known as the Ebens welcomed 12 astronaut-trained military personnel aboard their craft for the 10-month journey to their home planet, Serpo, 39 light-years away. In November 2005, former and current members of the Defense Intelligence Agency--directed by Kennedy to organize the Serpo exchange program--came forward to reveal the operation, including details from the 3,000-page debriefing of the 7 members of the Serpo team who returned after 13 years on the planet. Working with the DIA originators of the Serpo project and the diary kept by the expedition’s commanding officer, Len Kasten chronicles the complete journey of these cosmic pioneers, including their remarkable stories of life on an alien planet, superluminal space travel, and advanced knowledge of alien technologies. He reveals how the Ebens presented the U.S. with “The Yellow Book”--a complete history of the universe recorded holographically, allowing the reader to view actual scenes from pre-history to the present. He explains how the Ebens helped us reverse-engineer their antigravity spacecraft and develop technology to solve our planet-wide energy problems--knowledge still classified. Exposing the truth of human-alien interaction and interplanetary travel, Kasten reveals not only that the Ebens have returned to Earth eight times but also that our government continues to have an ongoing relationship with them--a relationship with the potential to advance the human race into the future.

Download or read book Accomplished written by Amanda Quain and published by Wednesday Books. This book was released on 2022-07-26 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Georgiana Darcy gets the Pride & Prejudice retelling she deserves in Amanda Quain's Accomplished, a sparkling contemporary YA featuring a healthy dose of marching band romance, endless banter, and Charles Bingley as a ripped frat boy. It is a truth universally acknowledged that Georgiana Darcy should have been expelled after The Incident with Wickham Foster last year – at least if you ask any of her Pemberley Academy classmates. She may have escaped expulsion because of her family name, but she didn’t escape the disappointment of her big brother Fitz, the scorn of the entire school, or, it turns out, Wickham’s influence. But she’s back for her junior year, and she needs to prove to everyone – Fitz, Wickham, her former friends, and maybe even herself – that she’s more than just an embarrassment to the family name. How hard can it be to become the Perfect Darcy? All she has to do is: - Rebuild her reputation with the marching band (even if it kills her) - Forget about Wickham and his lies (no matter how tempting they still are), and - Distract Fitz Darcy — helicopter-sibling extraordinaire — by getting him to fall in love with his classmate, Lizzie Bennet (this one might be difficult...) Sure, it's a complicated plan, but so is being a Darcy. With the help of her fellow bandmate, Avery, matchmaking ideas lifted straight from her favorite fanfics, and a whole lot of pancakes, Georgie is going to see every one of her plans through. But when the weight of being the Perfect Darcy comes crashing down, Georgie will have to find her own way before she loses everything permanently—including the one guy who sees her for who she really is.
