Book The Burning Bush Gospel Messages Vol II

Download or read book The Burning Bush Gospel Messages Vol II written by Wiley Toston and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2022-02-03 with total page 123 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: These pages are written out of a deep concern for the lame, the lost, and particularly for the Christian community in general. The majority of these sermons were delivered in connection with brief revival services throughout America in churches and associations and during conventions local, state, and national. These sermons proved to be such blessings to those who heard them delivered that they are now presented to the public at large with hope that many will be blessed by reading them. Every sermon is packed with a challenge to the mind, conscience, and the heart. For more than a decade, the idea has used me that the preacheraEUR"prophet and pastoraEUR"teacher are among the most pivotal factors and powerful forces in the passing parade of history. The mannerism and methodology of the master during his public ministry varnishes and vindicates the soundness and significance of these concepts. It was primarily against the religious leadership, the soaEUR"called heads of the temple, and supervisors of the synagogue whom Christ pressed serious charges and to whom he addressed pestiferous sayings. No claim is made to any striking originality, scholarly content, unusual authority, or unique writing. They are humble and honest words from my workshop released in the confident hope that they can be "a lamp unto the feet and a light unto the pathway."

Book What Do You Say to a Burning Bush

Download or read book What Do You Say to a Burning Bush written by Steven E. Burt and published by . This book was released on 1995 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many who preach from the lectionary are drawn to the gospel for their sermon focus. Yet Steve Burt's alluring treatment of these first lesson texts will stimulate the desire to proclaim the captivating tales drawn from these Old Testament lessons. In many ways it is easier for the contemporary hearer to identify with these Old Testament characters. They are less perfect, approachable, very human in their faith struggles and in many respects much like us. Titles include: - What Do You Do When Life Ain't Fair? (Genesis 29:15-28) - The Face of God (Genesis 32:22-31) - Need Help Removing that Roadblock? (Exodus 14:19-31) - But You Can't Get Water Out of a Rock! (Exodus 17:1-7) Steven Burt is a nationally known small church consultant, author, and lecturer. He has taught preaching, writing, and small church dynamics, and formerly directed the Missouri School of Religion's Small Church Program. He received his M.Div. degree from Bangor Theological Seminary and his D.Min. degree from the Andover Newton Theological School. This is his seventh book.

Book excerpt: Many of us spend our lives searching for something to satisfy our deepest longings. Yet we will never find complete satisfaction in human relationships, possessions, or personal power. As Saint Augustine wrote, "Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in you [God]." Lent offers us the opportunity to deepen our friendship with God. The idea of being friends with God may intimidate some, but the authors of this book provide practical tips for developing a closer relationship with God. Set aside at least 15 to 20 minutes each day to spend with God, the introduction suggests. Read the scripture texts and reflections, and pay attention to what they evoke in you. Then talk to God about your thoughts and feelings just as you would to your best friend. During Lent Jesus invites us to spend time with him and to renew our friendship with him. This encouraging book reminds us that we are beloved children of a God who deeply desires friendship with us. The meditations help us realize that through friendship with God, we will satisfy our hearts' yearnings.

Book The Wonders Of The Burning Bush

Download or read book The Wonders Of The Burning Bush written by Tella Olayeri and published by GOD'S LINK VENTURES. This book was released on 2023-12-08 with total page 109 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The burning bush is a classic spiritual bombshell that reveals how God loved humanity and keeps to covenant. His appearance to Abraham in the dream that his lineage will serve as slaves in a foreign land for 400 years but shall be later set free came to pass in the burning bush. The appearance of God in the burning bush that was not consumed symbolized the children of Israel will not be consumed in the hands of their Egyptian slave masters. The story of the burning bush unfolds the moment that shapes the identity of the Israelites. As Moses tends the flock on the slopes of Mount Horeb, he encounters a phenomenon that defies the laws of nature; a bush ablaze with fire yet unconsumed by its flames. The voice of God emanates from this miraculous, instructing Moses to remove his sandals, for he stands on holy ground. This divine encounter serves as a powerful testament to God’s love for his people, Israel. This book reveals much. The burning bush, with the nature of being both fiery and unconsumed, serves as a symbol of great significance with purification and transformation. The fact that the bush remains unconsumed speaks to the enduring nature of God's message. The eternal flame transcends the limitations of time and mortality. The burning bush becomes a symbol of the timeless and unquenchable nature of divine revelation. The burning bush holds a central place in the realm of our spiritual transformation. The imagery of fire often evokes the concept of purgation, a process of purification and transformative catalyst, inviting individuals to shed their sandals, meaning the relinquishment of worldly attachments, and stand in the presence of the divine with humility and openness. In our own lives, we encounter challenges and adversities that may feel like consuming flames. The burning bush reminds us that, like the bush, we can withstand the fires of life and emerge transformed, stronger, and more resilient. This lesson encourages us to embrace the flames of adversity as opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. This is a loaded prayer book with meanings and understanding that I AM that I AM never sleeps or slumber. It will enlarge your coast of understanding and fruitfulness in the following areas: It is a powerful prayer book loaded with spiritual vomited prayers. The prayers in the book are eye-opener to success and breakthrough. It reveals you can be set free from captivity and deadly yokes of the enemy. The Lord is able to return the arrow of stagnation and poverty back to the sender to fulfil your destiny. It shows God’s spoken words don’t come back to him void. The covenant made with Abraham came to pass. It proves little number of Abraham and Sarah can become a promised nation on earth. God remembers you every day. The burning bush proves there is a God called Yahweh, all shown in the ten plagues in Egypt. God can break the backbone of the enemy and fight your battle in a twinkling of an eye. The burning bush serves as a timeless source of spiritual inspiration, offering individuals’ tangible symbol of divine presence and guidance. Its flames symbolize the enduring light of spiritual wisdom that illuminates the path for those seeking purpose and direction. This book reveals flames of transformative energy. This narrative encourages individuals to embrace change and growth, recognizing that challenges can lead to personal and spiritual transformation without consuming one's core essence.
