For no matter what kind of ice cream maker you own -- an inexpensive canister or a top-of-the-line electric freezer -- there's an extra special treat here for you. Exciting flavors include an assortment of vanillas of varying degrees of richness, several great chocolates, Butter Pecan, Sensational Strawberry, Peaches 'n' Cream, Utterly Peanut Butter and Double Ginger to mention only a sampling. For an extra flourish, there's a collection of ice creams with add-ons -- swirls and twirls, sauces and toppings. There is even an entire chapter of great reduced-fat light ice creams and nonfat frozen yogurts with names like Creamy Banana, Cappuccino, Date Rum and Maple Crunch. Many completely fat-free frozen delights are covered in the chapter called "Sorbets, Granitas and Other Ices." Enticing and refreshing, they come in flavors such as Kiwi-Lime, Mango Margarita, Spiced Rasberry and Strawberry Daquiri. Book How to Make the Best Ice Creams and Amazing Frozen Desserts

Download or read book How to Make the Best Ice Creams and Amazing Frozen Desserts written by Gordon Rock and published by Gordon Rock. This book was released on 2020-05-25 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wanted to make rich, creamy ice cream right from your own home? Well now you can with these amazing ice cream recipes! Making ice cream at home is so much more satisfying than buying the boring stuff at the store and the results are far tastier. This book will outline the basic methods of making ice creams and show you how to make some cool new flavors that you would never find on a grocery shelf (Chai tea? Real Mint? Blood Orange Pops? These would never be in a store!). After using these recipes a few times, you will be an ice cream and frozen dessert pro! After reading some of the labels on prepackaged ice cream, I realized, (not surprisingly), that store bought ice creams can be full of preservatives and artificial flavors. Why does a frozen dessert need preservatives?! There has to be a better way! I decided to write this book to share great ice cream recipes that everyone can make at home without any unnecessary additives. Making your own ice cream at home will also shock your taste buds- ice cream made with real mint leaves is SO much more delicious and refreshing. All of the recipes in this book are made without artificial flavors and you and your guests will be able to taste the difference- get ready for people to ask for seconds and even thirds! Many of the recipes in this book will require an ice cream maker which can easily be found and purchased online or in any cooking store. They range from inexpensive to very pricey so pick the one that is best for you. I personally use one with a bowl which gets frozen ahead of time in the freezer and is then taken out right when I am ready to churn my ice cream. Look over the directions about how to use your machine before starting your ice cream. If you don't have an ice cream machine, don't worry. This book still has many great frozen desserts for you- try the Frozen Yogurt Berry Pops, a healthy frozen snack that is sure to please! Because all of the recipes in this book need to be frozen, the 'Active Time', or time it will take you to actively be working on these recipes, is what is included at the top of each page. Each dessert will need time to freeze so keep that in mind. But that's enough about the minute detail. Get your heavy cream and sugar out and let's make some ice cream!

Book Amazing Dessert recipes raw vegan chocolates cakes cookies and ice cream

Download or read book Amazing Dessert recipes raw vegan chocolates cakes cookies and ice cream written by and published by jideon francisco marques. This book was released on 2023-12-26 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: welcome to my sweetly raw kitchen I’ve had a sweet tooth my entire life. I come by it honestly, as the whole Pace family has a love for sugar. My earliest kitchen memories are of standing beside my mom while she baked chocolate chip cookies just so that I could lick the beaters. My childhood was filled with blueberry pancakes drenched in pure maple syrup that my mom made after going blueberry picking in the forest, frosty vanilla milkshakes from the lakefront restaurant in my town that is only open during the summertime, and hot chocolate with a doughnut after swimming lessons in the lake. I no longer eat those kind of treats, but I still have a mega sweet tooth and I indulge in dessert every day. The difference is that now I eat raw vegan desserts that are made with real food, packed with nutrition, and void of most common allergens. I’m fortunate enough to have started eating this way purely by choice. At the age of fourteen, I was introduced to the idea of eating whole, fresh foods instead of packaged, pasteurized, and animal-based foods. The idea resonated with me so much that I naturally made the transition to a vegan diet and started cooking for myself. Many people are drawn to raw food due to weight problems, allergy, or illness and have great success in healing with this diet. Regardless of your reason for wanting to make raw desserts, I’m here to show you how easy and delicious they can be. The recipes in this book are free of gluten, dairy, eggs, grains, refined sugar, soy, and corn. It’s time to throw away the notion that dessert is “bad.” This style of eating is both healthy and delicious. You’ll notice that your body responds differently to raw desserts than it does to regular cooked ones. You’ll feel light and energetic after eating them instead of tired and heavy. Enjoy a fresh fruit pudding or parfait for breakfast, eat a superfood bar for an afternoon snack, indulge in a piece of cheesecake for dessert—and you’ll probably lose a few pounds along the way. Just remember that even these desserts are a treat. Eat your veggies, too! If you’re new to the world of raw desserts, you’ll be amazed at how delicious a few simple ingredients can be and you may quickly come to appreciate the taste and satisfaction of fruit and nuts as an alternative to sugary snacks. If you’ve been into raw food for a while, you already know what a treat you’re in for with raw desserts. Regardless of your kitchen experience and your palate, I can assure you that there are recipes in this book for you. You’ll find everything from one-step desserts to more elaborate preparations that require several steps, and even some special-occasion-worthy desserts that take a few days to make. My wish for you is to play with these recipes using them as a launching pad to create versions that will suit your taste and accommodate ingredients you have on hand. Substitute an ingredient, find a new way to present a dessert, and most of all, be fearless in the kitchen. Take a risk. You never know what delicious treat you might come up with. In my experience, raw desserts are the best introduction to raw food for most people. Share your dessert creations with friends and family, and watch their faces light up as they take a bite. When they ask what’s in it, you have the perfect opportunity to tell them about raw food!
