Download or read book Th orie du comportement adaptatif et agriculture familiale written by Eduardo Chia and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Comprendre l agriculture familiale

Download or read book Comprendre l agriculture familiale written by Isabelle Touzard and published by Quae. This book was released on 2009-06-29 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Agricultures familiales et mondes venir written by Jean-Michel Sourisseau and published by Editions Quae. This book was released on 2014-02-17 with total page 362 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE L AGRICULTURE FAMILIALE

Download or read book LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE L AGRICULTURE FAMILIALE written by Sebastien Bainville and published by . This book was released on 2000 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DEPUIS UNE DIZAINE D'ANNEES LES INTERROGATIONS SUR LE CHANGEMENT INSTITUTIONNEL SONT AU CUR DES DEBATS PORTANT SUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE L'AGRICULTURE FAMILIALE. LA QUESTION N'EST PLUS SEULEMENT DE SAVOIR SI LES EXPLOITATIONS PAYSANNES PEUVENT SE MODERNISER MAIS SI LES INSTITUTIONS TRADITIONNELLES SONT CAPABLES DE DONNER NAISSANCE A DES ORGANISATIONS MODERNES APTES A ASSUMER DES FONCTIONS JUSQUE-LA ASSUREES PAR L'ETAT. CETTE THESE MONTRE LA NECESSITE DE NE PAS PRIVILEGIER UN PROCESSUS D'INNOVATION AUX DEPENS DE L'AUTRE. LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE L'AGRICULTURE FAMILIALE REPOSE SUR UN DOUBLE CHANGEMENT : TECHNIQUE ET INSTITUTIONNEL, L'UN ET L'AUTRE SE CONDITIONNANT MUTUELLEMENT. LA THEORIE DES COUTS DE TRANSACTION EST MISE EN UVRE POUR INTERPRETER LE DEVELOPPEMENT AGRICOLE D'UNE REGION DU CENTRE-OUEST BRESILIEN OU CHANGEMENTS TECHNIQUES ET INSTITUTIONNELS ONT ETE PARTICULIEREMENT MARQUES AU COURS DE LA DERNIERE DECENNIE. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS ON RECHERCHE LES ANTECEDENTS DU PROCESSUS. UNE ANALYSE HISTORIQUE MET AINSI EN EVIDENCE LA GRANDE DIVERSITE D'ORIGINES DES EXPLOITATIONS FAMILIALES ET LA SUCCESSION D'INSTITUTIONS AYANT CONDITIONNEES LES TRANSFORMATIONS RECENTES. ENSUITE, CE SONT LES MODES DE FONCTIONNEMENT ACTUELS DES UNITES DE PRODUCTION ET DES ORGANISATIONS LOCALES QUI SONT ABORDES. LES CHANGEMENTS DANS LE PRIX RELATIF DES FACTEURS INCITENT LES PRODUCTEURS A INTENSIFIER LEURS SYSTEMES DE PRODUCTION MAIS CECI N'EST POSSIBLE QU'AVEC DES TRANSFORMATIONS INSTITUTIONNELLES PERMETTANT DE REDUIRE LES COUTS DE TRANSACTION QU'ILS AFFRONTENT AVEC LES MARCHES AMONTS. A L'INVERSE LES CHANGEMENTS TECHNIQUES SE TRADUISENT PAR UNE AUGMENTATION DES COUTS DE TRANSACTION AVEC LE SECTEUR AVAL ET CONDUISENT A DE NOUVEAUX CHANGEMENTS INSTITUTIONNELS. DE NOUVELLES ORGANISATIONS SE METTENT AINSI EN PLACE MAIS LEUR ACTION EST LIMITEE PAR LA DIVERSITE DU PUBLIC AUQUEL ELLES S'ADRESSENT : SI ELLES REDUISENT LES COUTS DE TRANSACTION EXTERNES, ELLES DOIVENT ASSUMER DES COUTS DE COORDINATION CROISSANTS.

Book excerpt: "Your Mindful Compass" takes us behind the emotional curtain to see the mechanisms regulating individuals in social systems. There is great comfort and wisdom in knowing we can increase our awareness to manage the swift and ancient mechanisms of social control. We can gain greater flexibility by seeing how social controls work in systems from ants to humans. To be less controlled by others, we learn how emotional systems influence our relationship-oriented brain. People want to know what goes on in families that give rise to amazing leaders and/or terrorists. For the first time in history we can understand the systems in which we live. The social sciences have been accumulating knowledge since the early fifties as to how we are regulated by others. S. Milgram, S. Ashe, P. Zimbardo and J. Calhoun, detail the vulnerability to being duped and deceived and the difficulty of cooperating when values differ. Murray Bowen, M.D., the first researcher to observe several live-in families, for up to three years, at the National Institute of Mental Health. Describing how family members overly influence one another and distribute stress unevenly, Bowen described both how symptoms and family leaders emerge in highly stressed families. Our brain is not organized to automatically perceive that each family has an emotional system, fine-tuned by evolution and "valuing" its survival as a whole, as much as the survival of any individual. It is easier to see this emotional system function in ants or mice but not in humans. The emotional system is organized to snooker us humans: encouraging us to take sides, run away from others, to pressure others, to get sick, to blame others, and to have great difficulty in seeing our part in problems. It is hard to see that we become anxious, stressed out and even that we are difficult to deal with. But "thinking systems" can open the doors of perception, allowing us to experience the world in a different way. This book offers both coaching ideas and stories from leaders as to strategies to break out from social control by de-triangling, using paradoxes, reversals and other types of interruptions of highly linked emotional processes. Time is needed to think clearly about the automatic nature of the two against one triangle. Time and experience is required as we learn strategies to put two people together and get self outside the control of the system. In addition, it takes time to clarify and define one's principles, to know what "I" will or will not do and to be able to take a stand with others with whom we are very involved. The good news is that systems' thinking is possible for anyone. It is always possible for an individual to understand feelings and to integrate them with their more rational brains. In so doing, an individual increases his or her ability to communicate despite misunderstandings or even rejection from important others. The effort involved in creating your Mindful Compass enables us to perceive the relationship system without experiencing it's threats. The four points on the Mindful Compass are: 1) Action for Self, 2) Resistance to Forward Progress, 3) Knowledge of Social Systems and the 4) The Ability to Stand Alone. Each gives us a view of the process one enters when making an effort to define a self and build an emotional backbone. It is not easy to find our way through the social jungle. The ability to know emotional systems well enough to take a position for self and to become more differentiated is part of the natural way humans cope with pressure. Now people can use available knowledge to build an emotional backbone, by thoughtfully altering their part in the relationship system. No one knows how far one can go by making an effort to be more of a self-defined individual in relationships to others. Through increasing emotional maturity, we can find greater individual freedom at the same time that we increase our ability to cooperate and to be close to others.

Book Plant Behaviour and Intelligence

Download or read book Plant Behaviour and Intelligence written by A. J. Trewavas and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page 305 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a convincing argument for the view that whole cells and whole plants growing in competitive wild conditions show aspects of plant behaviour that can be accurately described as 'intelligent'. Trewavas argues that behaviour, like intelligence, must be assessed within the constraints of the anatomical and physiological framework of the organism in question. The fact that plants do not have centralized nervous systems for example, does not exclude intelligent behaviour. Outside the human dimension, culture is thought largely absent and fitness is the biological property of value. Thus, solving environmental problems that threaten to reduce fitness is another way of viewing intelligent behaviour and has a similar meaning to adaptively variable behaviour. The capacity to solve these problems might be considered to vary in different organisms, but variation does not mean absence. By extending these ideas into a book that allows a critical and amplified discussion, the author hopes to raise an awareness of the concept of purposive behaviour in plants.

Book Farming Systems Research into the 21st Century The New Dynamic

Download or read book Farming Systems Research into the 21st Century The New Dynamic written by Ika Darnhofer and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-05-30 with total page 488 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Farming Systems Research has three core characteristics: it builds on systems thinking, it depends on the close collaboration between social and biophysical sciences, and it relies on participation to build co-learning processes. Farming Systems Research posits that to contribute towards sustainable rural development, both interdisciplinary collaborations and local actor engagement are needed. Together, they allow for changes in understanding and changes in practices. This book gives an overview of the insights generated in 20 years of Farming Systems Research. It retraces the emergence and development of Farming Systems Research in Europe, summarises the state-of-the-art for key areas, and provides an outlook on new explorations, especially those tackling the dynamic nature of farming systems and their interaction with the natural environment and the context of action.

Book Farming Systems in the Pastoral Zone of NSW

Download or read book Farming Systems in the Pastoral Zone of NSW written by and published by . This book was released on 2008 with total page 48 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "A 'broad brush' picture of farming in the pastoral zone of NSW is presented in this report. The pastoral zone of NSW is characterised by wide variations in climatic conditions, soil type and vegetation species. Hence representative faming system analysis was conducted for three sub-regions - the Upper Darling, the Murray-Darling and Far West. The regions were defined and described in terms of their resources, climate and the nature of agriculture. The main enterprises that farmers choose between were described and whole farm budgets and statements of assets and liabilities for the representative farms were developed. The representative farm models were used to compare traditional Merino based sheep enterprises with alternative sheep enterprises where meat was an important source of income."--Abstract.
