Book Telepathy

Download or read book Telepathy written by Robin Sacredfire and published by 22 Lions. This book was released on with total page 22 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Telepathy is a reality and exists in the relation between all living things, from the eggs we buy in the supermarket to the plants of our house, and obviously including humans and animals in general, which, due to an absence of cultural and linguistic programming, are much more sensitive than human beings to such experiences, which many of us generally do not even notice. For although it is true that a dog can be trained to go get a certain object when he learns to recognize the sound of the word that identifies it, in the vast majority of the cases, the dog identifies the image that we mentally project when verbalizing the word. It’s important to know this phenomenon, because it affects our subconscious all the time. According to Carl Jung, synchronism is a phenomenon linked to processes of the unconscious, in which the deeper layers of the unconscious of man rest in the collective unconscious, a structure common to all men and in which all experience is shared. In other words, it is the collective patrimony of humanity that intervenes in the individual unconscious, namely, in our dreams, delusions, tales, myths, and even religions. In some cases, this phenomenon is more visible. The explorer Vuilleminot lived long months among the aborigines of Australia, whose way of life is of the neolithic type, and he observed that there telepathy was a current practice, a habitual communication. On the other hand, and according to A. E. Talbert, for the Armed Forces of the United States, it is indispensable to know whether the energy emitted by a human brain can influence, by thousands of miles away, another human brain. The amplification of these phenomena may also provide a new means of communication between the submarines and the mainland, and one day perhaps even between ships traveling in interplanetary space and the Earth. In short, and according to Webster, telepathy "is the communication of feelings or impressions between people estranged from one another”, but may, and according to Sybil Leek, be summarized as "the communication of impressions of all kinds from one mind to another, independently of the channels of the senses that are known”. In this sense, the possibilities that such practice allows us, when consciously used, include a positive influence on our psyche, as well as the increase of our consciousness in a practical way.

Book Gardens and the Warrior of Heaven

Download or read book Gardens and the Warrior of Heaven written by Jamon Miller and published by Createspace. This book was released on 2013-03-13 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It was sometime in the twenty-first century, when one discovery revolutionized the world further than any ever before it. This was the discovery of a nonlinear power, which lies inside of every living and nonliving organism on the planet. Its discoverers termed it Meteora. With it came the ability to tap into a clean, seemingly unlimited source of energy. With further study, it was found that only a few genetically gifted individuals could use this power World War III was fought between these new beings and the United Governments of the world. After fighting to a stalemate, the governments and the beings who had access to this power, now known as Homospiritus, came to an agreement called the Accords. Code 23: By law, all children born who are capable of using Meteora will be taken for safety reasons to Gardens to learn to control their powers, and serve the greater good of the commonwealth. Which meant to become a soldier in the army of the new world order. Tenchi was four years old when they came for him. Despite the best efforts by his mother to keep him hidden and safe, he was taken by force to Juneau Gardens, which is the home of the Homospiritus and the new governing order of the former United States of America, now named Juneau. It is a Gardens itself, one of a series of peaceful and beautiful utopian societies made up of the now free Homospiritus who, under the terms of the Accords, were allowed their independence and sovereignty. Gardens are realms, which demonstrate the height of Meteora manipulation and the coming together of humans with Meteora to create a utopian, Shangri-La-like paradise on a level with the Garden of Eden. Now inside of Gardens, Tenchi is swept up in a world of Meteora, fighting, and war, to protect a world he does not really feel a part of. He is taken from his home, his mother, and the only family he has ever known and commissioned to fight in a war for the peace and safety of the planet. He is forced to go through rigorous training and trials, as well as torment from other Homospiritus, when the only thing he truly cares about is getting home to his mother. And, after six years in the Gardens’ Academy comes to an end, he seems to get his chance when, at the age of ten, Tenchi graduates. Now he is an apprentice, under the command of a Master Agent who guards, trains, and protects him and his two other apprentices, Ko and Suki. In the field as a second level of training, Tenchi has a greater degree of freedom, though under the careful guidance and tutelage of Master Agent Shaun. The team members begin their journey all over the world carrying out peace missions while simultaneously improving and learning how to better use Meteora in real-life battle situations, all to prepare the young Agents to eventually go out on their own. This is vital, as it is public knowledge that the life of an apprentice is a very short one. Tenchi is then swept up in a series of missions, both dangerous and important to the fate and the safety of the whole world. Eventually, he is sent on a mission where he encounters terrorists with nuclear arms who have also taken their own dark dive into the use of Meteora, only to corrupt it. Tenchi is given the chance to abandon his mission and continue his own, which has always been to return to his mother. But now he is faced with a choice, to return home or to fight to secure and prevent the misuse of The Sword of Heaven, an ancient weapon of unparalleled power forged of Meteora itself. If not kept in check, The Sword will throw the world into an apocalyptic age from which we may never recover, a fate that will visit both Homospiritus and humankind alike.

Book The Invention of Telepathy 1870 1901

Download or read book The Invention of Telepathy 1870 1901 written by Roger Luckhurst and published by OUP Oxford. This book was released on 2002 with total page 346 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Invention of Telepathy explores one of the enduring concepts to emerge from the late nineteenth century. Telepathy was coined by Frederic Myers in 1882. He defined it as 'the communication of any kind from one mind to another, independently of the recognised channels of sense'. By 1901 it had become a disputed phenomenon amongst physical scientists yet was the 'royal road' to the unconscious mind. Telepathy was discussed by eminent men and women of the day, including Sigmund Freud, Thomas Huxley, Henry and William James, Mary Kingsley, Andrew Lang, Vernon Lee, W.T. Stead, and Oscar Wilde. Did telepathy signal evolutionary advance or possible decline? Could it be a means of binding the Empire closer together, or was it used by natives to subvert imperial communications? Were women more sensitive than men, and if so why? Roger Luckhurst investigates these questions in a study that mixes history of science with cultural history and literary analysis.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Original Thinking, Glenn Aparicio Parry delves into the evolution of Western thought to recover the living roots of wisdom that can correct the imbalances in our modern worldview. Inspired by groundbreaking dialogues that the author organized between Native American elders and leading-edge Western scientists to explore the underlying principles of the cosmos, this book offers a radical revisioning of how we think. Asking questions such as, Is it possible to come up with an original thought?, What does it mean to be human?, and How has our thinking created our world today?, Parry challenges us to consider many of our most basic assumptions. To think originally--as in thinking new thoughts that have never been thought or said before--is according to Parry, largely an illusion. So, too, is the idea of linear human progress. Most of us have traveled far from our ancestral lands, and in so doing, lost connection with place, the origin of our consciousness. Original Thinking offers a radical revisioning of how we think and what it means to be human. It invites us to reintegrate our hearts with our heads and to expand our self-imposed narrowing of consciousness. In doing so we reconnect with the living, original source--nature and her interconnected elements and cycles--and embrace the communion of old and new, rational and intuitive, and masculine and feminine. Ultimately, Parry shows us how to create the tapestry of truly original thinking and to restore thought as a blessing, as a whole and complete transmission from Spirit. Contents PART ONE (ORIGIN): Is it possible to come up with an original thought? Chapter 1. Original Thought, Time, and the Unfolding of Consciousness Chapter 2. Looking Backward to Go Forward Chapter 3. Wheels Within Wheels Chapter 4. It's About Time PART TWO (DEPARTURE): What does it mean to be human? Chapter 5. Purpose, Potential, and Responsibility of Being Human Chapter 6. Rational Thought and Human Identity Chapter 7. Re-thinking Language Chapter 8. Beyond Rationality Chapter 9. A Tale of Two Directions PART THREE (RETURN): How has our thinking created the world today, and what is emerging? Chapter 10. The Essence of Thought Chapter 11. To Make Thought Whole Again Chapter 12. To Think Without Separation Chapter 13. Re-Thinking the "Dismal Science" Chapter 14. Toward An Original Economics PART FOUR (RENEWAL): Can education promote the renewal of original thinking? Chapter 15. Education as Renewal Chapter 16. Childhood and Education Chapter 17. Higher Education Chapter 18. A New (and Ancient) Vision Chapter 19. A Vision for Higher Education

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Telepathy is nothing exotic - it is a part of everyday life - haven't you often looked around involuntarily when someone was staring at you from behind? If you want to do experiments to solidly prove the existence of telepathy and to find out how it works, you will find it in this book. There are a large number of phenomena that are based in whole or in part on telepathy: Hypnosis, dream journeys, homeopathy, oracles such as the Tarot cards, and many more. Telepathy is also closely related to other phenomena such as astral projection, poltergeists, foretelling the future, and the like. Often one cannot even clearly assign a phenomenon to one of these areas: Is the crashing of PCs, whose users are in stress, now telepathy or telekinesis? From the experiments and phenomena a simple model can be derived, which resembles the "collective subconsciousness" of C.G Jung. Such a model can help to use telepathy more purposefully.
