Download or read book Soul Stories written by Gary Zukav and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2012-12-11 with total page 247 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his bestselling book, THE SEAT OF THE SOUL, Gary Zukav's driving concept was 'multi-sensory perception', an innate sense that allows people to experience the world beyond the five senses, to listen harder to who they are and ultimately to save one's life. Now in SOUL STORIES, Gary Zukav brings this concept and many others vividly alive, with marvellous true stories of how they manifest themselves in individual lives. This book is enormously practical in the way the author builds on each specific story to a discussion of its application to the reader's needs, leading to a deeper understanding of authentic power and inner peace. And best of all, it is wonderfully readable and even more accessible than THE SEAT OF THE SOUL.

Download or read book Transitions of the Soul written by Nick Bunick and published by Hampton Roads Publishing. This book was released on 2001-02-01 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Death is not an ending, but a transition of the soul. Here are true-life stories of ordinary men, women, and children who no longer fear death or grieve for deceased loved ones. Why? Because they know the human spirit survives death--and lives on. But how do they know this with such certainty? The proof lies in what they have seen with their own eyes and felt with their own hearts. Each was present when a grandmother, best friend, spouse, or child appeared to them in a luminous visitation to ease their grief and to show them that no one had really died. They were graced to witness angels, or Jesus, or other spiritual beings who came to announce the well-being of their recently passed dear ones. Here, told in simple but emotionally rich words, are seventy-eight unforgettable tales of grief allayed and solace attained. Housewives, mechanics and mothers, sons and daughters, truck drivers and nurses, young and old--all attest to the survival of the spirit after death. What is remarkable is that many of them had no previous mystical experiences or even beliefs that such occurrences were possible. Read their miraculous stories and you'll begin to understand why Nick Bunick, subject of The Messengers, assures us that with every transition of the soul, grief dissolves and it is only death that dies.

It’s difficult to find a husband in Regency England when you’re a young lady with only half a soul. Ever since she was cursed by a faerie, Theodora Ettings has had no sense of fear or embarrassment—an unfortunate condition that leaves her prone to accidental scandal. Dora hopes to be a quiet, sensible wallflower during the London Season—but when Elias Wilder, the strange, handsome, and utterly ill-mannered Lord Sorcier, discovers her condition, she is instead drawn into peculiar and dangerous faerie affairs. If her reputation can survive both her curse and her sudden connection with the least-liked man in all high society, then she and her family may yet reclaim their normal place in the world. But the longer Dora spends with Elias, the more she begins to suspect that one may indeed fall in love even with only half a soul. Download or read book My Soul Is Rested written by Howell Raines and published by Penguin. This book was released on 1983-09-29 with total page 497 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "A superb oral history." —The Washington Post Book World "So touching, so exhilarating...no book for a long time has left me so moved or so happy." —The New York Times Book Review The almost unfathomable courage and the undying faith that propelled the Civil Rights Movement are brilliantly captured in these moving personal recollections. Here are the voices of leaders and followers, of ordinary people who became extraordinary in the face of turmoil and violence. From the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1956 to the death of Martin Luther King, Jr., in 1968, these are the people who fought the epic battle: Rosa Parks, Andrew Young, Ralph Abernathy, Hosea Williams, Fannie Lou Hamer, and others, both black and white, who participated in sit-ins, Freedom Rides, voter drives, and campaigns for school and university integration. Here, too, are voices from the “Down-Home Resistance” that supported George Wallace, Bull Connor, and the “traditions” of the Old South—voices that conjure up the frightening terrain on which the battle was fought. My Soul Is Rested is a powerful document of social and political history, as well as a magnificent tribute to those who made history happen.

Download or read book Soul Licensed written by David Tuttle and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-09-15 with total page 63 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I had been getting messages from psychics for some time that I should do some writing. That prompted me to create a small website page with spiritual insights in 2012. More recently, I started getting e-mail prompts and deadline notices about an online book writing class offered by psychic medium James Van Praagh whose books and television show I was familiar with. After ignoring about six e-mail prompts, I was in Traverse City, Michigan, on vacation, when I thought it would be fun to get a psychic reading there. The psychic told me, among other things, that my guides on the "other side" wanted me to do some more writing. I took this as a signal that I should join the online class, which had a deadline to join two days after my reading. So I sent in the money, and after much soul-searching, Soul Licensed: Tips and Tales resulted two years later (long after the class ended). It had occurred to me that there are many people I know who seemed to lack any hope for something after this lifetime. Everyone was out to complete physical goals or have fun without any true belief about there being an afterlife. I had learned from my experiences that there was a very good reason to enjoy our lives here...and look forward to much more than what was visible on this planet. So I thought I would write this book sharing some of my interactions with spirits, energy, and psychics and offer my wisdom on how to create a healthier, more peaceful existence. You, the reader, can then take that information, in addition to the many clues (including license plate messages) that we get daily from the "other side" and discover your own reality. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed this process and living this life with daily reminders that we are never alone in this sphere. Have a wonderful journey!
