La structuration possible en commandes inter-ressources ayant la fonction de pilotage et de coordination qui vont paramétrer et assujettir un niveau de commandes intra-ressources de transformation du produit nous a alors permis de réutiliser l'approche orientée produit lors de la phase de conception de la commande. Les systèmes de production flexibles batchs présentent des caractéristiques discontinues et des modes de préparation qui favorisent l'adaptation de méthodes basées sur cette approche pour la conception de leurs commandes inter-ressources. Une démarche transposée nous conduit à l'obtention d'un modèle de commandes, de nature statiques et non déterministes, qui est traduit en ordres exécutables pour leurs commandes intra-ressources par un module d'allocateur de ressources. L'inadéquation de l'approche produit pour la réalisation des commandes intra-ressources nous amène à développer une démarche appropriée. Elle consiste à privilégier la spécification du plan de circulation des fluides sur des critères fonctionnels et de contrôle-commande. La traduction en automatismes implantables sur des organes informatiques représente alors une étape de finition qui peut être facilitée par l'assemblage et l'estampillage de composants logiciels préexistants. Cette méthode est supportée par un outil d'aide et de génération d'automatisme que nous avons développé dans le cadre d'une collaboration recherche-industrie

Until recently, the management of faecal sludge from these onsite systems has been grossly neglected, partially as a result of them being considered temporary solutions until sewer-based systems could be implemented. However, the perception of onsite or decentralized sanitation technologies for urban areas is gradually changing, and is increasingly being considered as long-term, sustainable options in urban areas, especially in low- and middle-income countries that lack sewer infrastructures. This is the first book dedicated to faecal sludge management. It compiles the current state of knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of faecal sludge management, and presents an integrated approach that includes technology, management, and planning based on Sandecs 20 years of experience in the field.
