The Founding of Swing Island an erotic novella is the first book I have ever read by Charlie Wish. The author warned his readers up front that the book contained explicit details of sexual acts between consenting adults. There were acts between bisexuals, heterosexuals, and watersports (that part I was not a huge fan of). I have read a lot of erotica however this book by far has been the hottest I have read. Charlie’s storytelling, his eye for details of the story, the amazing cast of characters, and the plot was unlike any book I had ever read prior. He made you feel like you were a fly on the wall looking In on the action! The main character George had to be the luckiest man alive for the amazing fortune and experiences he was given. What I liked most about him was he had a heart of gold and wanted was best for his “family.” By Heidi Lynn on 30 April 2017

Book The Secret to Southern Charm

After finding out her military husband is missing in action, middle sister Sloane’s world crumbles as her worst nightmare comes true. She can barely climb out of bed, much less summon the strength to be the parent her children deserve. Her mother, Ansley, provides a much-needed respite as she puts her personal life on hold to help Sloane and her grandchildren wade through their new grief-stricken lives. But between caring for her own aging mother, her daughters, and her grandchildren, Ansley’s private worry is that secrets from her past will come to light. But when Sloane’s sisters, Caroline and Emerson, remind Sloane that no matter what, she promised her husband she would carry on for their young sons, Sloane finds the support and courage she needs to chase her biggest dreams—and face her deepest fears. Taking a cue from her middle daughter, Ansley takes her own leap of faith and realizes that, after all this time, she might finally be able to have it all. Harvey’s signature warmth and wit make this a charming and poignant story of first loves, missed opportunities, and second chances and proves that she is "the next major voice in Southern fiction” (Elin Hilderbrand, New York Times bestselling author).

Book The Golden Isles of Georgia

Download or read book The Golden Isles of Georgia written by Caroline Couper Lovell and published by Pickle Partners Publishing. This book was released on 2018-12-01 with total page 300 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Golden Isles of Georgia comprise a group of four barrier islands and the mainland port city of Brunswick on the 100-mile-long coast of the U.S. state of Georgia on the Atlantic Ocean. They include St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, and Historic Brunswick. Mild winters, together with natural beaches, vast stretches of marshland, maritime forests, historical sites, and abundant wildlife on both land and sea made the Golden Isles popular amongst wealthy southern planters, who built their homes on these islands. Charles Spalding Wylly of Darien, Georgia, spent the last years of his long life in Brunswick. Sharing the fate of the old, he found it almost impossible to get work, though still strong in body and mind. To divert and interest him, his niece, Caroline Couper Lovell, suggested that he write his memoirs; the manuscripts of the first two little books were presented to his niece, with other unpublished data. After Captain Wylly’s death in 1923, as there had been no second edition of these works, it was suggested that Mrs. Lovell should edit them. This she attempted to do, and then decided that it would be better to use the material, add to it, and compile another story. The result is The Golden Isles of Georgia... Beautifully illustrated throughout with portraits of prominent men and beautiful women who lived on these islands, photographs of the old ruins, and pictures of old homes and scenery.

Book Forty Books

Download or read book Forty Books written by Peter Michael Cox and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2015-04-30 with total page 584 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It all started out in pre-adolescence in the mid-1960s. Stuck in the house during those lazy hazy summer days I read Illustrated Classics comic books inside the backyard screened porch. While slurping on a Popsicle those wondrous images and suspenseful narratives whisked me away to worlds of adventure (The Three Musketeers), terror (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), and glory (Camelot). And walking back from the general store to our seaside cottage in Green Harbor, I used to read the latest baseball news from Sports Illustrated. Reading was my way of combating boredom and loneliness."
