He married Mary Hunt Minge (1695-1763), daughter of William Hunt and Tabitha Underwood and widow of Robert Minge, in about 1721. They had nine children. William died in 1752 in Buckingham County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma.

I started this project as a gift for my Children, that is why I split the book into two mini books, book one is for his fathers' side of the family, and book two is his mothers' side of the family.
