Download or read book Supraconducteurs haute temp rature critique Familles 1 2 3 et 2 2 1 2 written by Patrice Millet and published by . This book was released on 1990 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: CE TRAVAIL EST FOCALISE SUR LES OXYDES SUPRACONDUCTEURS A HAUTE TEMPERATURE CRITIQUE. LA PREMIERE PARTIE EST RELATIVE A LA SYNTHESE D'UNE PHASE COCKTAIL (LN)BA#2CU#3O#6#+#X OU (LN) REPRESENTE UN MELANGE EQUIMOLAIRE DE CINQ ELEMENTS DE TERRES RARES. DES MONOCRISTAUX ONT ETE OBTENUS. IL EST MONTRE A L'AIDE DE DIFFERENTES TECHNIQUES QU'UNE BONNE DISTRIBUTION STATISTIQUE DES TERRES RARES EST REALISEE INDIQUANT QUE LE MELANGE SE COMPORTE COMME UNE PSEUDO TERRE RARE. L'ETUDE DE L'EVOLUTION DE LA TEMPERATURE CRITIQUE EN FONCTION DU RAYON IONIQUE DE LA TERRE RARE MONTRE QUE CELLE-CI PEUT ETRE MODULEE EN CHOISISSANT UN COCKTAIL APPROPRIE ET QU'IL EST POSSIBLE D'OBTENIR DES PHASES SUPRACONDUCTRICES, AU-DESSUS DE LA TEMPERATURE DE L'AZOTE LIQUIDE, CONTENANT DES TAUX ELEVES DE LANTHANE. LA SECONDE PARTIE EST CONSACREE A LA SUBSTITUTION D'ELEMENTS DE TERRES RARES AU CALCIUM DANS LA PHASE BI#2SR#2CACU#2O#8#+#X. IL EST MONTRE QUE LE LANTHANE SE SUBSTITUE PREFERENTIELLEMENT DANS LE SITE DU STRONTIUM ALORS QUE L'ERBIUM ET L'YTTERBIUM OCCUPENT LE SITE DU CALCIUM. L'ETUDE DE LA VARIATION DE T#C EN FONCTION DU TAUX DE SUBSTITUTION Y, DANS LE SYSTEME BI#2SR#2CA#1##YYBYCU#2O#8#+#X#+#Y#/#2, MONTRE QUE LORSQUE Y EST SUPERIEUR A 0,5 LES PHASES SONT SEMICONDUCTRICES. L'UTILISATION DE L'OXYDE D'ETAIN (SNO) EN TANT QU'AGENT DE CRISTALLISATION A PERMIS D'OBTENIR DES MONOCRISTAUX DE STCHIOMETRIE CONTROLEE. LES DETERMINATIONS STRUCTURALES DE DEUX DES PHASES DU SYSTEME (CA, YB) MONTRENT LES MODIFICATIONS SUIVANTES: DECROISSANCE DE LA LONGUEUR D'ONDE DE LA MODULATION, REORIENTATION DES PAIRES ELECTRONIQUES NON LIEES DES ATOMES DE BISMUTH, INSERTION D'ATOMES D'OXYGENE SUPPLEMENTAIRES ENTRE LES COUCHES D'ATOMES DE BISMUTH

Book ETUDE DES OXYDES SUPRACONDUCTEURS A HAUTE TEMPERATURE CRITIQUE BISRCACUO PAR RESONANCE MAGNETIQUE NUCLEAIRE

Download or read book ETUDE DES OXYDES SUPRACONDUCTEURS A HAUTE TEMPERATURE CRITIQUE BISRCACUO PAR RESONANCE MAGNETIQUE NUCLEAIRE written by LOIC.. LE NOC and published by . This book was released on 1993 with total page 213 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NOUS AVONS MENE UNE ETUDE CES COMPOSES N=1, N=2, N=3 DE LA FAMILLE D'OXYDES SUPRACONDUCTEURS BI(2)SR(2)CA(N-1)CU(N)O(2N+4+X), OU N EST LE NOMBRE DE PLANS CUO2 PAR MAILLE. COMME TOUS LES OXYDES SUPRACONDUCTEURS, ILS ONT DES PROPRIETES ELECTRONIQUES QUI PRESENTENT UN COMPORTEMENT NON CONVENTIONNEL DANS L'ETAT NORMAL. ON SAIT QUE LES PLANS CUO2 JOUENT UN ROLE ESSENTIEL DANS CES PROPRIETES ET NOUS LES AVONS ETUDIES PAR RESONANCE MAGNETIQUE NUCLEAIRE DES NOYAUX RARES SUIVANTS OXYGENE 17 ET CALCIUM 43. LA RMN EST UNE SPECTROSCOPIE LOCALE DONNANT DES INFORMATIONS STRUCTURALES ET ELECTRONIQUES. DE L'ENSEMBLE DES RESULTATS, IL RESSORT QU'IL EXISTE UNE RELATION SYSTEMATIQUE ENTRE LE COMPORTEMENT DE LA SUSCEPTIBILITE DES PORTEURS DE CHARGE ET LA DENSITE DE CHARGE PAR PLAN CUO2: NOUS AVONS AINSI MONTRE QUE LA DENSITE DE CHARGE PAR PLAN CUO2 DIMINUE QUAND LEUR NOMBRE AUGMENTE, C'EST-A-DIRE QUE LE COMPOSE N=1 EST FORTEMENT DOPE TANDIS QUE LE COMPOSE N=3 EST FAIBLEMENT DOPE. D'AUTRE PART, DANS LE COMPOSE N=3 QUI CONTIENT TROIS PLANS DE CUIVRE NON EQUIVALENTS, LA DISTRIBUTION DE CHARGES EST INHOMOGENE ENTRE CES PLANS, LE PLAN CENTRAL ETANT MOINS DOPE. AVEC CES INFORMATIONS, ON PEUT DONNER UNE EXPLICATION A LA CHUTE DE LA TEMPERATURE CRITIQUE QUAND LE NOMBRE DE PLANS CUO2 AUGMENTE AU-DELA DE TROIS. UNE ETUDE A AUSSI ETE MENEE SUR L'INFLUENCE DE LA MODULATION INCOMMENSURABLE SUR LES PLANS METALLIQUES

Book The Physics of Nuclear Reactors

Download or read book The Physics of Nuclear Reactors written by Serge Marguet and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-02-26 with total page 1462 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This comprehensive volume offers readers a progressive and highly detailed introduction to the complex behavior of neutrons in general, and in the context of nuclear power generation. A compendium and handbook for nuclear engineers, a source of teaching material for academic lecturers as well as a graduate text for advanced students and other non-experts wishing to enter this field, it is based on the author’s teaching and research experience and his recognized expertise in nuclear safety. After recapping a number of points in nuclear physics, placing the theoretical notions in their historical context, the book successively reveals the latest quantitative theories concerning: • The slowing-down of neutrons in matter • The charged particles and electromagnetic rays • The calculation scheme, especially the simplification hypothesis • The concept of criticality based on chain reactions • The theory of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactors • The problem of self-shielding • The theory of the nuclear reflector, a subject largely ignored in literature • The computational methods in transport and diffusion theories Complemented by more than 400 bibliographical references, some of which are commented and annotated, and augmented by an appendix on the history of reactor physics at EDF (Electricité De France), this book is the most comprehensive and up-to-date introduction to and reference resource in neutronics and reactor theory.

Book Neutron Capture Gamma Ray Spectroscopy

Download or read book Neutron Capture Gamma Ray Spectroscopy written by R. E. Chrien and published by Springer. This book was released on 2011-12-29 with total page 880 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The post World War II era witnessed a tremendous growth in the research carried out in neutron-induced reactions and especially in neutron capture y-ray studies. This growth was stimulated by the availability of neutron sources, such as reactors and accelerators, and by the development of high resolution y-ray and conversion electron detectors. Today the combination of high flux reactors and precise instrumentation has produced spectral data of exceptional quality, as the pages of these proceedings illustrate. The world-wide community of the practioners of the art of cap ture y-ray spectroscopy has met three times in the last decade: the first international symposium on this subject was held at Studsvik, Sweden in 1969, and the second at Petten, The Netherlands in 1974. A smaller meeting, of mostly u. S. and some European parti cipation, was held at Argonne National Laboratory in 1966. A perusal of the proceedings of these meetings shows the striking ad vances in this now mature field of physics over the last dozen years. Each meeting has seen a small but perceptible increase in the number of papers presented and the number of laboratories repre sented. More importantly, each meeting has documented the increasing impact of (n,y) reasearch, not only on other areas of basic physics, but also on commercial and medical applications of this technology. A total of 29 invited papers and 97 contributed papers were presented at this symposium.
