Think of the pleasant and desirable things that might happen if your talks, your conversations, your letters, your telephone messages, your public appearances all were consciously channeled along the road to success. This book has as its major purpose the directing of all these words into proper, efficient, and effective lines of communication.

Book Your Journey to Success How to Accept the Answers You Discover Along the Way

Download or read book Your Journey to Success How to Accept the Answers You Discover Along the Way written by Kenny Weiss and published by eBookIt.com. This book was released on 2017-12-20 with total page 122 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a book for the person who is hungry for an answer. I know that feeling. I was stuck in it for years and as a Coach and Speaker, I have noticed there is a constant theme for us all. We have read all of the success books, we have gone to the seminars but when we go to execute their wonderful information a feeling comes up. We lay in bed and just don't "feel" like doing what they suggest even though we know it will make our life better. That "feeling" stops us from executing one or more steps they suggest we take to make our lives better. I couldn't overcome that feeling either. Here I was an alcoholic, a sex addict, sugar addict, spending addict, tobacco addict, love addict, I had gone bankrupt, been through two horrific divorces, a child custody battle, I played two professional sports I never wanted to play and I contemplated suicide. None of the books showed me or explained where that feeling comes from, why we all get it and how to overcome it. Without that information, I couldn't execute all of their wonderful suggestions. So this is my story and how I took all of that great information from all of those great success teachers, I collated it and then added to it. I discuss where that feeling comes from, why we all get it and how to overcome it. This book bridges the gap. When you have this information, this skillset to overcome that "feeling" than you can put into place all of their incredible advice and have the personal and professional success we are all searching for.

Kevin Kelly, Internationally acclaimed leadership speaker and Best Selling Author Too much of what is thrust upon us today as "communication" is simply inefficient and ineffective and in many cases, incoherent and just plain noise. The truth is, we are living in the midst of a "Smart Talk" epidemic. This is a book about a critical set of distinctions. It will expose the difference between spending time, energy and intellectual firepower trying to sound smart and savvy - what the author condemns as "Smart Talk" - and the more effective choice to speak and operate deliberately in order to avoid confusion, frustration, and wasted time and therefore dramatically improve our productivity. Smart Talking is the enemy of Smart Execution. This book exposes common Smart Talk Traps and offers seven Straight Talk Principles that will: - Quickly help you become more productive, communicate more clearly and expertly detect Smart Talk trash. - Allow you to learn (or re-learn) the secrets to more productive conversations, communication and relationships. - Identify the distinction between Straight Talk that produces results and harmony and Smart Talk that brings only disappointment and ultimately, a crash-and-burn finale. The Straight Talk Principles are inspired by the greatest wisdom of the past, colored with personal experience from the present and organized for the benefit of our future. If you make them part of your "operating style," you'll achieve more positive outcomes as you communicate deliberately, honestly, and sincerely -the Straight Talk way.

Book Fail Your Way to Success The Definitive Guide to Failing Forward and Learning How to Extract The Greatness Within

This book was released on 2017-06-25 with total page 110 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Finally, a book that peels back the true nature of failure and uncovers the inextricable relationship between failure and success. It shows you chapter after revealing chapter how to not only embrace failure but how that failure creates a trajectory forward. This results in the need to fail fast, before getting too far in the game; fail often so that you learn more about your task; and, fail big. The book reveals the implementation of the FSG, failure-success-greatness matrix. It highlights how great achievers view success and how they used failure to their benefit every single time. With failure they not only elevated themselves, they took humanity to greater heights with them. A section of the book shows you how to embrace failure by changing your mindset towards failing. Mindsets do make or break the person it controls, but your will and logic can come together to change that mindset, regardless of how entrenched. This book shows you the nature of failure, exhibits the path to success and shows you how greatness is achieved. You just need to learn to believe in what¿s in you. Believe in your greatness but don¿t get carried away by it and don¿t gloat about it. Tuck that knowledge deep inside and allow it to smolder. Nurture it till it advances to a flame. Allow it to infect all things you do, then nurture it more till that flame becomes a blaze and your successes seem superhuman to lesser minds.

Swapna Hari, Director, Cognizant "This book by Payal Nanjiani will join the best of business literature for emphasizing attitude as our biggest asset." Swami Mukundananda of Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog (JKYog) Institute Gathering insights from 20 years of the author’s executive coaching in the United States and abroad, this book presents 21 mindfulness strategies for business leaders, corporate heads, entrepreneurs, and professionals. During the author’s coaching sessions for business and corporate leaders and her trainings at corporations, mid-sized businesses, small businesses, and start-up organizations, she discovered that there is a wide gap between those who achieve success and those who do not. This gap indicates that there is still something significant missing in the business world. Success Is Within fills this gap by encouraging business professionals to "mind the mind." Written in accessible, easy-to-digest language, and targeted towards busy US business professionals who long for thought-leadership to boost their success, the book argues that success depends on changing one’s mindset in key ways. Each chapter focuses on one way to transform one’s mindset to achieve success. The union of these 21 ways provides a uniquely comprehensive program for leadership success in business and corporate careers. Drawing from a blend of Eastern and Western wisdom, the book blends true-life storytelling about the challenges of actual business professionals with insights drawn from traditional parables from classic "wisdom books" to inspire readers to think-through how to transform their mindsets. Ultimately, the book helps magnify one’s inner power: the power of one’s mind. The book calls on business professionals to unleash their "inner leader." When they recognize the power of their inner leader, they will become unstoppable.
