Sections VI and VII describe experiments with a double crystal thermionic converter and the wetting of several metals by liquid cesium and sodium, respectively. Sections VIII and IX are concerned with low-energy electron diffraction dealing, respectively, with a new type of low-energy electron diffraction system and an electron diffraction analogue by using light diffraction with two-dimensional lattices.
