Book excerpt: From the Bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire in the Episcopal Church, the first openly gay person elected (in 2003) to the historic episcopate and the world's leading religious spokesperson for gay rights and gay marriage—a groundbreaking book that lovingly and persuasively makes the case for same-sex marriage using a commonsense, reasoned, religious argument, made by someone who holds the religious text of the Bible to be holy and sacred and the ensuing two millennia of church history to be relevant to the discussion, equally familiar with the secular and political debate going on in America today, and for whom same-sex marriage is a personal issue; Robinson was married to a woman for two decades and is a father of two children and has been married to a man for the last four years of a twenty-three-year relationship.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Representing a first in gay and Christian publishing, this provocative book presents a complete reversal of thought and action, contending that God loves homosexuals without attempting to refute scripture references. The study confronts its subject with a quirky sense of humor in the spirit of the “bedtime story,” providing a rare evangelical Christian volume addressed directly to the gay community. Unorthodox in its presentation, this guide speaks the language of those who may feel abandoned, condemned, and damned while avoiding reinterpretations of scriptural passages, making the gospel accessible to a younger, free-spirited generation. Spearheading a volatile topic with candor and grace, this consideration reframes the never-ending question, Is homosexuality a sin? and instead asks the gay community for a cease-fire—to forgive, love, and help put a stop to a cultural war being waged in the world.

Book Marriage and Sexuality by Design

This book was released on 2019-03-16 with total page 140 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Marriage and Sexuality by Design is a powerful teaching tool aimed at equipping every believer with solid biblical truth while exposing and correcting the erroneous teachings of LGBT advocates. The Christian community must possess a sound irrefutable working knowledge of the Scriptures or face being misled into error. It is not enough to say "I believe same-sex marriages are wrong," we must clearly understand exactly what the Bible teaches and be capable of sharing the light of God's word with our children, friends, family, and others. We must not allow the unenlightened advocates of same-sex relationships to tell our children "your parents are homophobic ignorant religious freaks." We must lovingly teach God's design for marriage and sexuality. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)Same-sex proponents argue the Bible has always supported homosexuality and same-sex relationships. They insist that King David and Saul's son Jonathan were homosexual lovers, and the book of Ruth illustrates a lesbian relationship between Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth. They falsely claim that Jesus taught some people are born homosexuals. In fact, the LGBT affirming church movement openly teaches, practices and condones all same-sex marriages as approved of God. The LGBT agenda to normalize homosexuality is finding acceptance among several denominations as Godly behavior. Believers and pastors must not continue down the path of silence. We must know God's mind on this subject and loving and courageously teach the truth. Marriage and Sexuality by Design offers powerful biblical expositions and detailed analysis of God's immutable and absolute design for marriage and sexuality. You can view a sample reading of the book's contents here or click on the book pic above. During the writing of this book, the debate over God's design for marriage vs. same-sex marriage was trending across America. The LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual) community was gaining sympathy, support, and acceptance for same-sex marriages. The inevitability of the Supreme Court taking up the matter and redefining marriage to include same-sex couples was imminent. On June 26, 2015, the Court's ruling was published in favor of same-sex marriages by a narrow margin of 5-4. Same-sex marriages became legal in all fifty states. The Court's ruling was celebrated by same-sex advocates as a victory, but there is nothing victorious about a man-made law that diametrically opposes God's exclusive design for marriage. The Court's ruling is a departure from the historical evidence and judicial precedent that defines marriage as being exclusively between a man and a woman. The ruling is an ignominious failure, void of wisdom and morality. The toxicity of such a ruling flows from the forbidden behavior it sanctions. The historical teaching of the Holy Scriptures and thousands of years of moral understanding testify against this disgraceful decision. Throughout this book, I will contrast God's design for marriage and sexuality against a growing body of misleading information, corrupted scriptural interpretations, and phantom doctrines based on fabricated stories. The LGBT agenda to normalize same-sex relationships and same-sex unions as an equivalent alternative to heterosexual marriages is completely alien to all biblical and secular history. Moreover, the insistence of some same-sex proponents alleging homosexual relationships was always acceptable and approved by God is without foundation and blatantly wrong.
