Book Spirit Animals of Mother Earth Land Edition

Download or read book Spirit Animals of Mother Earth Land Edition written by Bryan Metoyer and published by . This book was released on 2021-11-13 with total page 58 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: SPIRIT ANIMAL COLORING BOOK My main objective behind this coloring book project was to bring awareness to others, the energetic connection we have with other people, animals, the Earth, and The Universe. I feel it's vital for people to understand that we are all connected through energy, frequency, and consciousness. Understanding the truth about energy and our connection to it will allow people to see their lives and reality from a higher perspective through a clearer vision and a renewed sense of self. We are ONE with everything, including The Universe. Once you tune into the connections we have to animals through their characteristics and attributes; you will see how The Universe is in constant support and communication with all of us, sending us signs and messages. They are all around us, especially with animals. No matter what animal you choose to color and in whatever order you choose, you are a frequency match to that animal in those moments. Meaning, the frequency you are emitting or a situation you may be experiencing in your life matches that particular animal's spiritual characteristics and attributes in those moments. Everything in your reality is a frequency match to you! My goal for this book, and the two to follow, was to be unique, spiritually informative, and creatively interactive. Connecting the spiritual and creative aspects was an essential part of informing and inspiring others. Many people underestimate their creative abilities without even giving themselves a chance to see their potential. We manifest our realities through the thought system, which means we are creative beings organically, and we have much more control over our realities than what we were programmed to believe. Everything is art. A snapshot of anything in nature could be considered art. I feel no one's art is better or worse than another's because it's all about the energy and intention put into that work one does that makes it beautiful and uniquely theirs. Spirituality has played a significant role in my life since experiencing a "spiritual awakening " in 2016. This awakening journey enlightened me to a great deal of knowledge regarding energy and consciousness that resonated with truth for me. Creating this series is my way of sharing this information with others about energy, vibration, frequency, and consciousness in a fun, creative, and inspiring way! To complete the Mother Earth series, please keep a lookout for "Spirit Animals of Mother Earth Sea Edition" and "The Botanical Spirits of Mother Earth Garden Edition", released in 2022. Creating this series has been a journey all on its own for me. Ultimately, it was an experience full of enlightening moments, lessons through trial and error. I am so grateful for the lessons and will cherish every one of those moments. It's been a memorable journey I will never forget, and I will hold these learning experiences close to my heart. I hope you enjoy adding your creative spark to this series as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Book Spirit Animals and the Wheel of Life

Download or read book Spirit Animals and the Wheel of Life written by Hal Zina Bennett and published by Hampton Roads Publishing. This book was released on 2001-02-01 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Though our ancient ancestors had a deep spiritual connection to the natural world, most modern humans have lost that connection, resulting in ever-increasing ecological assaults on our planet. As environmental quality continues to worsen, we must find a way to spiritually reconnect with Mother Earth--before it is too late. "Ecospiritualism" is a form of spirituality that embraces, and takes responsibility for, the natural world we live in. One of the most practical, enjoyable, and simple ways of reclaiming our ecospiritual connection with Mother Earth is journeying with the spirits of animals just as our ancestors did thousands of years ago. Animals, most intimately connect with Mother Earth, are the perfect guides to the ancient wisdom we have lost. Mole, eagle, badger, wolf, bear, mountain lion--each animal has its place on the sacred medicine wheel; each has knowledge vital to the future of our Earth and to rediscovering our rightful place in it. In Spirit Animals, author Hal Zina Bennett offers an accessible form of "spiritual orienteering" in which personal power animals are the guides and teachers, and shamanism is the means by which we work with and learn from them.

Book White Spirit Animals

Download or read book White Spirit Animals written by J. Zohara Meyerhoff Hieronimus and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2017-10-24 with total page 450 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Explores the powers and wisdom of sacred White Spirit Animals • Looks in-depth at the lessons of the major White Spirit Animals: the White Bear, White Lion, White Elephant, White Wolf, and White Buffalo • Explains how to use shamanic dreaming and trans-species telepathy to communicate with these great spiritual teachers • Reveals how White Spirit Animals are calling humanity to restore balance, respect, reverence, and honor to protect our animal kin, ourselves, and the earth Beautiful rarities of nature, all-white animals are held sacred by many indigenous cultures and offer deep wisdom to all who will listen. In addition to the White Buffalo, there are other revered white animals, such as the White Wolf, White Lion, White Elephant, and White Bear. Each of these White Spirit Animals belongs to a species at the apex of their ecosystem, meaning the environment in which they live will unravel without them. Speaking through ancient and modern prophecy and the many humans who communicate with them, these White Spirit Animals are urgently calling to humanity to restore balance and protect our animal kin, ourselves, and the earth. Combining sacred elder lore, science, and her own telepathic dreams, Zohara Hieronimus looks at the special role played by White Spirit Animals in spiritual traditions and prophecy around the globe, where they are seen as guardians of animal wisdom, each with a special purpose and gift. She reveals how they have collaborated with humanity since the last ice age, inspiring spiritual practices and conferring shamanistic powers, and are considered the stewards of the great spiritual transformations that occur during transitional times. Sharing the waking vision of White Spirit Animals that called her to write this book, and their message of CPR for the earth--conservation, preservation, and restoration--she explains how to use shamanic dreaming and trans-species telepathy to communicate with these great spiritual teachers. Exploring each one of the major White Spirit Animals--White Buffalo, White Lion, White Elephant, White Wolf, and White Spirit Bear--and the cultures in which they are honored, the author shows, for example, how the White Buffalo is called a harbinger of peace and abundance by many Native American tribes and the White Bear, the great earth healer, teaches us about nurturance and patience. As a bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds, between humans and animals, White Spirit Animals are calling us to open our hearts to the wild, to the sacredness of the wind, the water, the earth, and dream a new world into being to heal our own personal and collective wounds and restore the earth to balance.

Book excerpt: The wild creatures of the North American continent play an important role in Native American spiritual life. First and foremost there are the animals who come to you as your teachers when you embark upon a vision quest. Secondly, there are those animals whose life you take in gratitude in order to provide sustenance. Thirdly, there are those animals who in their own way explain and give information about the shifting shapes of the natural world. Grandmother Twylah Nitsch reveals a full panoply of 52 animals, from ant to wolf, heron to snake, dragonfly to weasel, buffalo to porcupine - one for each week of the year - and shows how you can ascertain which nine animals are most suitable as teachers to enable you to manifest your intuitive energy. She then explores the sacred and natural lore that the Seneca discovered in their communications with each creature, offering fables and poems that describe each animal's deeds and its role in the greater landscape of Mother Earth.

Download or read book Remapping Sovereignty written by David Myer Temin and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2023-08-29 with total page 271 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An examination of anticolonial thought and practice across key Indigenous thinkers. Accounts of decolonization routinely neglect Indigenous societies, yet Native communities have made unique contributions to anticolonial thought and activism. Remapping Sovereignty examines how twentieth-century Indigenous activists in North America debated questions of decolonization and self-determination, developing distinctive conceptual approaches that both resonate with and reformulate key strands in other civil rights and global decolonization movements. In contrast to decolonization projects that envisioned liberation through state sovereignty, Indigenous theorists emphasized the self-determination of peoples against sovereign state supremacy and articulated a visionary politics of decolonization as earthmaking. Temin traces the interplay between anticolonial thought and practice across key thinkers, interweaving history and textual analysis. He shows how these insights broaden the political and intellectual horizons open to us today.

Book Spirit Voices

Download or read book Spirit Voices written by David J. Shi and published by Red Wheel/Weiser. This book was released on 2023-05 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Provides a clear and accessible guide to the many different North Asian shamanic traditions, past and present. What is shamanism? Where is it from? How does one become a shaman? What are the requirements to become one? Anthropologists tell us that the word shaman derives from the Tungus language and traditions, but few people understand the full scope of what that means. In his groundbreaking book, Spirit Voices, David Shi answers all these questions and more. Drawing upon his own ancestral traditions, Shi explores the history and practice of shamanism. He guides readers through what may be the unfamiliar landscapes of North Asia--the place where shamanism was born--as well as the largely hidden and unfamiliar traditions of Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungus shamanism, exploring the subtle and unique aspects of each tradition. Shi provides a clear and accessible guide that explores the many different North Asian shamanic traditions. So, what exactly is shamanism? David Shi suggests that the most accurate definition derives from shamanologist Nicholas Breeze Wood, who writes, "A shaman is someone chosen by the spirits [typically at or before birth] and who can go into a controlled and repeatable deliberate trance state, during which they A) experience 'spirit flight,' where they go to the spirit worlds and meet spirits, who they either fight with, negotiate with, or trick, in order to create change in this physical world, or B) are often taken over/possessed by the spirits (normally ancestral shaman spirits, or local land spirits) while in this physical world--the spirits using the shaman's voice and body to heal, or give advice to members of the shaman's community. Without the spirits and their blessing, a shaman cannot exist or function. Without the trance state, it is not shamanism." Featuring history, firsthand experiential reports, mythology, and folklore, Spirit Voices explores the spirits, spirituality, tools, and practices of true shamanism, past and present. Shi also provides practical information for those readers seeking to implement shamanic practices, including those that are appropriate to noninitiates and outsiders to the culture. As the author points out, "the purpose of shamanism can be summed up in two words: coexistence and balance--coexistence with our spirits and our communities, and the balance that must be preserved between all of us and within ourselves."

Book excerpt: In Renewing the Balance, Dirk Dunbar shows how the balance worshipped in ancient Earth wisdom traditions is being integrated into Western culture’s dominantly masculine, rational value system. Filled with hope, revelations regarding cultural evolution, and scholarship of the highest order, Dunbar’s book passionately challenges all of us to recover the archaic reverence for the natural world, to reconsider the limits of growth, progress, and mechanistic thinking, and to join in the newly reclaimed celebration of life that fosters peace and the potential for a sustainable future. Dirk Dunbar’s Renewing the Balance is a crucial and comprehensive account of how traditional cultures maintained a healthy balance that preserved our natural world and how our modern technocratic, economic ideology has produced a culture that is dangerously out of balance. It is at once a diagnosis of our dis-ease and a prescription for healing our collective psyche, polis, and environment. A truly fascinating philosophical adventure. ~Sam Keen Author of 12 books, including The Passionate Life and Hymns to an Unknown God Renewing the Balance brings depth and breadth to our efforts to understand how Western culture evolved as it did and to appreciate the many streams that now flow into our efforts to manifest ecological wisdom in a hypermodern world. ~Charlene Spretnak Author of 9 books, including States of Grace and The Resurgence of the Real
