Book Decision Support Technique Based on Neutrosophic Yager Aggregation Operators Application in Solar Power Plant Locations Case Study of Bahawalpur Pakistan

Download or read book Decision Support Technique Based on Neutrosophic Yager Aggregation Operators Application in Solar Power Plant Locations Case Study of Bahawalpur Pakistan written by Shabeer Khan and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 21 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The problem of energy crisis and environmental pollution has been mitigated by the generation and use of solar power; however, the choice of locations for solar power plants is a difficult task because the decision-making process includes political, socioeconomic, and environmental aspects. Thus, several adverse consequences have been created by the choice of suboptimal locations. The objective of this paper is to address the integrated qualitative and quantitative multicriteria decision-making framework for the selection of solar power plant locations. Neutrosophic sets (NSs) are the latest extension of the ordinary fuzzy sets. The main characteristic of the neutrosophic sets is satisfying the condition that the sum of the truth, indeterminacy, and falsity grades must be at least zero and at most three. In this research, we establish novel operational laws based on the Yager t-norm and t-conorm under neutrosophic environments (NE).

Book The Projection Model with Unknown Weight Information under Interval Neutrosophic Environment and Its Application to Software Quality in Use Evaluation

Download or read book The Projection Model with Unknown Weight Information under Interval Neutrosophic Environment and Its Application to Software Quality in Use Evaluation written by Tongjuan Wang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 11 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Interval neutrosophic sets (INSs) provide us with a more flexible and effective way to express incomplete, indeterminate, and inconsistent information..epurpose of this paper is to introduce the new multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) method based on the improved projection model under the interval neutrosophic environment. In this paper, we investigated the basic concepts and operational rules of interval neutrosophic numbers (INNs), then proposed the projection of two INNs and improved the entropy formula of the INNs. Furthermore, this paper took account into the decision maker’s attitude towards the indeterminacy and risk and proposed two different methods to determine the ideal solutions. Based on this, we presented an improved MCDM method based on the projection model under the interval neutrosophic environment. Finally, the practicability and reliability of the proposed method were explained by the example of software quality-in-use evaluation.

Download or read book Hesitant Fuzzy Set written by Bahram Farhadinia and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-12-04 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Covering a wide range of notions concerning hesitant fuzzy set and its extensions, this book provides a comprehensive reference to the topic. In the case where different sources of vagueness appear simultaneously, the concept of fuzzy set is not able to properly model the uncertainty, imprecise and vague information. In order to overcome such a limitation, different types of fuzzy extension have been introduced so far. Among them, hesitant fuzzy set was first introduced in 2010, and the existing extensions of hesitant fuzzy set have been encountering an increasing interest and attracting more and more attentions up to now. It is not an exaggeration to say that the recent decade has seen the blossoming of a larger set of techniques and theoretical outcomes for hesitant fuzzy set together with its extensions as well as applications. As the research has moved beyond its infancy, and now it is entering a maturing phase with increased numbers and types of extensions, this book aims to give a comprehensive review of such researches. Presenting the review of many and important types of hesitant fuzzy extensions, and including references to a large number of related publications, this book will serve as a useful reference book for researchers in this field.

Book Aggregation Operators

Download or read book Aggregation Operators written by Tomasa Calvo and published by Physica. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 1. The increasing number of research papers appeared in the last years that either make use of aggregation functions or contribute to its theoretieal study asses its growing importance in the field of Fuzzy Logie and in others where uncertainty and imprecision play a relevant role. Since these papers are pub lished in many journals, few books and several proceedings of conferences, books on aggregation are partieularly welcome. To my knowledge, "Agrega tion Operators. New Trends and Applications" is the first book aiming at generality , and I take it as a honour to write this Foreword in response to the gentle demand of its editors, Radko Mesiar, Tomasa Calvo and Gaspar Mayor. My pleasure also derives from the fact that twenty years aga I was one of the first Spaniards interested in the study of aggregation functions, and this book includes work by several Spanish authors. The book contains nice and relevant original papers, authored by some of the most outstanding researchers in the field, and since it can serve, as the editors point out in the Preface, as a small handbook on aggregation, the book is very useful for those entering the subject for the first time. The book also contains apart dealing with potential areas of application, so it can be helpful in gaining insight on the future developments.

Book Simplified neutrosophic sets and their applications in multi criteria group decision making problems

Download or read book Simplified neutrosophic sets and their applications in multi criteria group decision making problems written by Juan-juan Peng and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a variation of fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, neutrosophic sets have been developed to represent uncertain, imprecise, incomplete and inconsistent information that exists in the real world. Simplified neutrosophic sets (SNSs) have been proposed for the main purpose of addressing issues with a set of specific numbers. However, there are certain problems regarding the existing operations of SNSs, as well as their aggregation operators and the comparison methods. Therefore, this paper defines the novel operations of simplified neutrosophic numbers (SNNs) and develops a comparison method based on the related research of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. On the basis of these operations and the comparison method, some SNN aggregation operators are proposed. Additionally, an approach for multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems is explored by applying these aggregation operators. Finally, an example to illustrate the applicability of the proposed method is provided and a comparison with some other methods is made.
