I must beg the attention of the reader particularly to the ensuing pages, because in them will be re lated an event of no small importance in the extra ordinary and unexpected scenes that shortly after wards followed in the south of Spain, and it formed a hinge, on which a part of the results from the movements we have seen, turned.
