Download or read book 10 Things Your Soul Guides Want You to Know written by Sheyna Galyan and published by Soul Guides Books. This book was released on 2022-10-12 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How do you trust your spirit guides when you have a history of trauma and betrayal? Where is the line between communicating with one's soul guides and mental health concerns? Does the Law of Attraction really say that we attract to ourselves every painful experience we endure? There are numerous accounts of how intuition or guidance saved lives, but what about the people who died? Do people who do deplorable things have guides-and why aren't those guides stopping them? Just how involved are guides and messengers in our lives? Do we all have guides? And how can we connect with our own guides, especially if we're not religious? As a young teenager, Sheyna Galyan began writing down daily conversations with invisible beings far too wise to be imaginary friends. After helping Sheyna navigate traumatic relationships, anxiety, depression, and then fibromyalgia, two of what Sheyna calls soul guides have come together to share ten things they most want people to know about: self-talk, trust, compassion, love, joy, grief, trauma, relationships, religion, and money. And when Sheyna questioned and argued with those soul guides, the guides were more than willing to offer deeper explanations.Filled with humor, wisdom, and a touch of irreverence, 10 Things Your Soul Guides Want You to Know will support and inspire you, complete with exercises and reflection questions in each chapter to help you make empowered choices, build a relationship with your own soul guides, and live authentically from your divine self.

As well as the sewing projects there is also a smattering of delicious recipes to feed more than just the soul! Unlike other sewing collections Sewing for the Soul takes you on a journey throughout the year with sewing patterns, projects, recipes and drinks to take you from season to season. Each season has a slow sewing project for when you have more time, a quick sewing project so that even the time-poor can get a therapeutic sewing 'fix' and either a hand sewing project, such as embroidering a decorative detail onto one of the garments, or a reinvention project. This means that, by the end of the year, you will have a whole new wardrobe to be proud of and will have spent many relaxing hours mindfully making.

This unexpected tragedy plunges Mark into the spiritual world of psychics and mediums in a frantic attempt to communicate with the dead. He then enters a new dimension of personal paranormal experience, as his own psychic awareness begins to unfold. This dramatic story of a father’s unbearable loss and his discovery of life after death offers hope to the bereaved and compelling evidence that death may not be the end.

Book What is Soul

    Book Details:
  • Author : Wolfgang Giegerich
  • Publisher : Routledge
  • Release : 2020-01-06
  • ISBN : 1000061361
  • Pages : 468 pages

Download or read book What is Soul written by Wolfgang Giegerich and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-01-06 with total page 468 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rooted in the metaphysics of bygone times, the notion of soul in our Western tradition is packed with associations and meanings that are incompatible with the anthropological and naturalistic thinking that prevails in modernity. Whereas treatises of old conceived of the soul as an infinite, immaterial substance which was the ground of man’s hope for eternal salvation, modern psychology has for the most part discarded the concept in favor of more tangible touchstones such as the emotions, desires, and attachments which characterize man as a finite, bodily-existing positive fact. An exception to this trend has been the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung. Against the positivistic spirit of his times, Jung insisted upon a "‘psychology with soul,’ that is, a psychology based upon the hypothesis of an autonomous mind." In this volume, Wolfgang Giegerich once again takes up the Jungian commitment to a psychology with soul. Agreeing with Jung that the soul concept is indispensable for a truly psychological psychology, he supplements and re-orients the Jungian approach to both this concept and the phenomenology of the soul by means of a whole series of nuanced discussions that are as rigorous as they are thoroughgoing. The result is nothing short of a tour de force. Tarrying with the negative, Giegerich’s particular contribution resides in his showing the movement against the soul to be the soul’s own doing. In animus moments of itself, consciousness in the form of philosophy and Enlightenment reason turned upon itself as religion and metaphysics. Far from abolishing the soul, however, these incisive negations were themselves negated. As if dancing upon its own demise, the soul came home to itself, not as an invisible metaphysical substance, but more invisibly still as the logically negative evaporation of that substance into the form of subject, or even better said, into psychology.

Book Odyssey of the Soul a Trilogy

Download or read book Odyssey of the Soul a Trilogy written by Pamela Chilton and published by Quick Book Pub. This book was released on 1997 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First in a trilogy, Book One presents extraordinary information gathered from the inner consciousness levels of the minds, bodies, and spirits of thousands of ordinary people. Knowledge gathered by the authors in their healing, motivational, and channeling work with and for others opens the mind and excites the spirit to the inherent abilities of the soul. Written simply, even complex subjects such as healing, hypnosis, re-incarnation, channeling, therapy, spirit possession, multiple personalities, inner children, astral matter, metaphysics, the soul, and Higher Self become clear and understandable. Personal stories add light, humor, motivation, and a sense all is possible and knowable. Presents a lighted path to self-mastery for the enlightenment of self and others, while succinctly outlining why the past is important to this path. Explains the dynamics of trauma, including childhood abuse, and how the mind stores, as well as buries, trauma. Explains why memories - whether "false" or "real" - are important to healing and achieving personal and professional goals. Delineates the levels of the mind and spirit in a way that is meaningful to every day reality. Lures and keeps the interest of both beginners and experts in metaphysical studies, even as it brings forward information that enhances both mainstream and alternative healing. Miracles are explained, as well as why medications, surgery, prayer, guided imagery, visualizations, affirmations, hypnosis, herbs, and other healing aids sometimes do not work and what needs to be done so they will. It is a book written by experts who explain why no expert knows more about a person's mind, body, or spirit than that person's own mind, body, and spirit. Explains how such information can be accessed both in and out of trance states. Channeling is introduced in a manner that eliminates fear, dread, and foolhardiness. Parts of the book and all of chapter eight are written by LIGHT, which says it is The Light, the creator energy of The Creator of All That Is. Light outlines a plan for healing the earth, balancing nature, and enlightening humans. The plan is powerful and perfect for people of all religions and no religion. So ingenious is this plan, so simple, so positively focused, it could only have been written by a consciousness of light leading to the thought that if a consciousness of light does not lie, this must, indeed, be The Creator Light. Just knowing such a consciousness is present and active in the world lessens the rampart fear presently escalating naturally occurring earth changes. Most importantly, this book, as it makes clear how the mind creates, makes clear how prophecy works. It becomes understood prophecy is not for the ego of the prophet; it is for the good of the people. If one does not like a prophecy, one has the ability and the right to positively shift the mental focus and physical actions in the present, which alters the future, thus nullifying the prophecy. Being created in the image of the Creator means we are spirit with will and the ability to choose what we will. A great prophet does not care about being right. A great prophet cares about doing right. Doing right is to warn and when the warning is heeded, the great prophet rejoices, knowing the prophecy will be rendered untrue. Book One explains how the mind truly works so the soul of one and the souls of many may alter the future to bringgreater good and joy.

Download or read book Soul Stories written by Gary Zukav and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2012-12-11 with total page 247 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his bestselling book, THE SEAT OF THE SOUL, Gary Zukav's driving concept was 'multi-sensory perception', an innate sense that allows people to experience the world beyond the five senses, to listen harder to who they are and ultimately to save one's life. Now in SOUL STORIES, Gary Zukav brings this concept and many others vividly alive, with marvellous true stories of how they manifest themselves in individual lives. This book is enormously practical in the way the author builds on each specific story to a discussion of its application to the reader's needs, leading to a deeper understanding of authentic power and inner peace. And best of all, it is wonderfully readable and even more accessible than THE SEAT OF THE SOUL.

Book Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet

Download or read book Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet written by Sara Hagerty and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2014-10-07 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sara Hagerty masterfully draws from her own story of spiritual and physical barrenness to birth in readers a new longing for God. With exquisite storytelling and reflection, Hagerty guides readers to a tender place that God is holding just for them—a place where he shapes the bitterness of lost expectations into deep, new places of knowing Him. In the age of fingertip access to answers and a limitless supply of ambitions, where do we find the God who was birthed in dirt and straw? Sara Hagerty found him when life stopped working for her. She found him when she was a young adult mired in spiritual busyness and when she was a new bride with doubts about whether her fledgling marriage would survive. She found him alone in the night as she cradled her longing for babies who did not come. She found him as she kissed the faces of children on another continent who had lived years without a mommy’s touch. In Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet, Hagerty masterfully draws from the narrative of her life to craft a mosaic of a God who leans into broken stories. Here readers see a God who is present in every changing circumstance. Most significantly, they see a God who is present in every unchanging circumstance as well Whatever lost expectations readers are facing—in family, career, singleness, or marriage—Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet will bring them closer to a God who longs for them to know him more. What does it look like to know God’s nearness when life breaks? What does it mean to receive his life when earthly life remains barren? How can God turn the bitterness of unmet desire into new flavors of joy? With exquisite storytelling and reflection, Hagerty brings readers back to hope, back to healing, back to a place that God is holding for them alone—a place where the unseen is more real than what the eye can perceive. A place where every bitter thing is sweet.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most scholars link the origin of politics to the formation of human societies, but in this innovative work, Tilo Schabert takes it even further back: to our very births. Drawing on mythical, philosophical, religious, and political thought from around the globe—including America, Europe, the Middle East, and China—The Second Birth proposes a transhistorical and transcultural theory of politics rooted in political cosmology. With impressive erudition, Schabert explores the physical fundamentals of political life, unveiling a profound new insight: our bodies actually teach us politics. Schabert traces different figurations of power inherent to our singular existence, things such as numbers, time, thought, and desire, showing how they render our lives political ones—and, thus, how politics exists in us individually, long before it plays a role in the establishment of societies and institutions. Through these figurations of power, Schabert argues, we learn how to institute our own government within the political forces that already surround us—to create our own world within the one into which we have been born. In a stunning vision of human agency, this book ultimately sketches a political cosmos in which we are all builders, in which we can be at once political and free.
