During the peak covid19 period when police killed George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020, Black Lives Matter marches and demonstrations spread to many places of America. Lot of people lost their lives. The poems in the book were written during that period to show solidarity with the protesting people and create global opinion against racial discrimination.
