Las estructuras de poder desiguales, los estereotipos de género arraigados y la cultura de la impunidad han perpetuado la invisibilidad de esta violencia, dificultando la denuncia y la búsqueda de justicia para las víctimas. Sin embargo, en los últimos años, ha surgido un movimiento global de resistencia y solidaridad contra la violencia hacia las mujeres. Mujeres valientes y activistas de todo el mundo han alzado la voz, compartiendo sus historias, exigiendo cambios y luchando por un mundo donde todas las personas puedan vivir libres de miedo y opresión. Este tema no solo es una cuestión de derechos humanos fundamentales, sino también un imperativo moral y una lucha por la igualdad de género. Al abordar la violencia contra la mujer, no solo estamos protegiendo los derechos individuales de las mujeres, sino también construyendo una sociedad más justa, equitativa y segura para todas las personas. A través de la concienciación, la educación, la acción colectiva y el cambio cultural y político, podemos poner fin a la violencia contra la mujer y crear un mundo donde todas las personas sean tratadas con dignidad, respeto y amor. Es hora de romper el silencio, desafiar las estructuras de poder desiguales y construir un futuro donde la igualdad de género sea una realidad para todas las personas.

Children are considered as the main actors in historic dynamics of social change, from prehistory to the present day. Notions on space, childhood and the construction of both the individual and the group identity of children are considered as a prelude to papers that focus on analyzing and identifying the spaces which contribute to the construction of children’s identity during their lives: the places they live, learn, socialize and play. A final section deals with these same aspects, but focuses on funerary contexts, in which children may lose their capacity to influence events, as it is adults who establish burial strategies and practices. In each case authors ask questions such as: how do adults construct spaces for children? How do children manage their own spaces? How do people (adults and children) build (invisible and/or physical) boundaries and spaces?
