Book Seventh Day Adventism the False Prophecies of Ellen G White

Download or read book Seventh Day Adventism the False Prophecies of Ellen G White written by Billy Crone and published by Get a Life Ministries. This book was released on 2020-09-22 with total page 262 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Seventh-Day Adventist cult was actually established by accident or you might say a bad judgment made by a man named William Miller. He made the mistake of proclaiming that Jesus would return on a certain date that didn't happen. He tried to fix it by setting another date, which also didn't happen. He eventually decided that what he was doing was wrong and repented and said he would never do it again. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there, and the organization continued on. After splitting several times, a lady named Ellen G. White came on to the scene. While a child she was hit in the head with a rock causing her to be unconscious for a period of time. Because of what could be called brain damage she started seeing visions that she said were from God. The Seventh Day Adventists now had a prophet giving the people new revelations that they had to follow in order to get to Heaven. But even now, when they follow all the rules that she put forth, they never know if they have actually accomplished everything to get to Heaven. As you read, Seventh Day Adventism & the False Prophecies of Ellen G. White, you will understand how these people are being led away from Heaven. Some of the topics are: Why is it wrong to set dates for the return of Jesus? Why do they have to pass "Investigative Judgement" in order to get to Heaven? Where did the Clear Word Bible come from? What is "Soul sleeping"? How does Kellogg cereal fit in Seventh Day Adventism? Do Seventh Day Adventist believe in a Heaven and a Hell? Who are the Seventh Day Adventist celebrities? You will find that after studying Seventh Day Adventist & the False Prophecies of Ellen G. White, these people are in great need of hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be told that they need to run not walk and get out of this cult as fast as they can. This study will give you the necessary tools needed to witness to a member of Seventh Day Adventism and open their eyes to the false teachings that they have been under. This is definitely a book you need to complete your library.

Download or read book THE BIG BOOK OF ELLEN G WHITE ERRORS written by Earl Pickett and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2013-12-07 with total page 166 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: She is held in high esteem as a prophetess of God to millions of Seventh-day Adventists. According to their books and research, she passes every test of a Biblical prophet. However, not all the information is being shared. This book will reveal 200 amazing and shocking things that Ellen G. White said that the SDA Church doesn't want you to know about. This book was written to expose sincere Bible loving Adventists to a side of Mrs. White that they have never seen before. It is my hope that this book will be the truth that sets them free and causes the powers that be in the SDA church to make the Bible, and only the Bible, their source of all authority.

Book Ellen G White A Psychobiography

Download or read book Ellen G White A Psychobiography written by Steve Daily and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2020-12-16 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This explosive work contains a great deal of highly documented material on the life and movement of Ellen G. White that Adventists in general, to say nothing of the public, will not know. The book is not a classic psychobiography, although history and psychology are the primary disciplines employed. It also contains a sprinkling of theology and personal reflection to make it a unique blend. The most striking evidence presented raises major questions about the prophet’s mental and moral health. It is a must read for anyone who truly wants to understand Seventh-Day Adventism and its prophetic founder. A devastating work. What Numbers and Rea started, your book will finish! —John Dart (1936-2019), longtime religion editor, Los Angeles Times I enjoyed the writing and the stories. The anecdotes you included enriched the content. Your writing was personal, and I think readers will feel that you are writing to them, and makes the book of increased value. There is the same question with Joseph Smith. Why do people stay in the face of such documentation? What are the forces that keep them tied to source documentation of fraud? —Dr. Robert Anderson, psychiatrist, author, Inside the Mind of Joseph Smith: Psychobiography and the Book of Mormon I found the material fascinating, a powerful polemic! —Ronald Numbers, William Coleman professor of History, University of Wisconsin-Madison, author, Prophetess of Health

Download or read book Ellen G WHITE Was She a True Prophet written by Matelong Kelvin and published by . This book was released on 2017-03-28 with total page 26 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Bible says that in the last days, many false prophets would rise. The Bible further says that in the last days, the Spirit of prophecy would be manifested in the church. Ellen G White is accepted by the Adventist faithfuls as a true Prophet, she is however dismissed by thousands of other Christians as a false prophet in fact, by the mention of the word prophet alone in this 21st century, many classify the Seventh-day Adventist church with a cult or a sect. In this book, the most in depth study of Ellen G White has been done with three clear and independent methods used to proof beyond reasonable doubt that she was actually a prophet of God. Contained in the book is a Biblical analysis with clear texts that will help you understand more that we have not followed cunningly devised fables but are sure of our belief in her ministry. May God Bless you and open your spiritual eyes so that you may understand this important topic.

Book excerpt: Ground-breaking book that has shaken the foundations of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. "Ellen Gould White in the mid 1800s began a career that led to her becoming the acknowledged "personage" of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A century and a quarter afterward, in the mid-1970s, one of her longtime devotees began to disclose evidence from his research that raised sobering questions as to the official church position on Ellen White.... This book grew out of the author's own quest for answers to compelling questions concerning this woman.... The White Lie reveals a portion of Walter Rea's evidence that much of what several generations have been taught concerning Ellen White's writings simply is not true -- or at the minimum, it is enormously overstated. The books of numerous writers of her time, and earlier, are known to have been accessible to her. The large number of them that were in personal collection at her death in 1915 were inventoried and have been available to the White Estate staff.

Book excerpt: In chapter one of this volume, I give a brief but insightful and sufficient history of the roots of Seventh-day Adventism and its theological framework. Adventism started on a very bad foundation that is fraught with false prophecies, stubbornness, religious fervor and fanaticism, biblical and theological dishonesty, irrationality, and rampant proof-texting in attempts to support absurd theories. Chapter two will expose you to the supreme and ultimate authority in Adventism, their prophetess Ellen G. White. You will discover her role in their doctrines and denominational life. She is the center around which Adventism revolves psychologically, theologically, doctrinally, spiritually, organizationally, and socially. In chapters three to eight, I deal with the most unique doctrine to Adventists---the Investigative Judgement. I show how and why it was invented, that it creates a lot of salvational uncertainty and it is a biblical heresy. I also contrast the SDA Investigative Judgement with the biblical Gospel. Adventists approach Scripture with a lot of faulty hermeneutical principles and assumptions. In chapter nine, I highlight eleven of those and, in over 100 pages, walk you through how to refute them. Because of what Ellen White teaches on a variety of issues, they make a lot of false assumptions about the Law, the Sabbath, the Ten Commandments, the Gospel, biblical terminologies, the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant Christianity, Sunday worship, etc., you will be equipped to biblically refute their assumptions. Chapters ten through twelve deeply dive into the Adventist doctrine that Jesus is Michael the Archangel. You will discover that this is an egregiously false doctrine that undermines the deity of Jesus and that neither Judaism nor Early Christians believed and taught this. Seventh-day Adventists believe and teach that Satan is the scapegoat and sin-bearer revealed in the Day of Atonement ritual in Leviticus 16. The implications for this are very grave. This teaching is very heretical. You will see that this false doctrine is grounded on statements of Ellen White, then distortions of few texts to make it seem biblically true. Not only do I expose the grotesque nature and conclusion about this teaching, but I also refute all their arguments. I prove that Jesus is our scapegoat and sin-bearer. He is the spotless goat that was sacrificed and also the spotless one sent away to bear our sins. In chapters fourteen and fifteen, I unveil the Adventist doctrine of sinless perfectionism. In order to potentially pass the Investigative Judgement and be saved, Adventists must become sinlessly perfect through law-keeping and obeying the myriads of legalistic rules and regulations that Ellen White has laid down for them. This doctrine evokes a lot of fear, paranoia, depression, salvational angst, and hopelessness for many SDAs. It engenders salvation by works through and through. I refute this false doctrine and prove that the flesh cannot become sinlessly perfect in this life. The flesh can only be subdued in this life, and will be eradicated when Jesus returns. In chapter sixteen, "What is the Adventist Health Message All About?" you will be exposed to why Adventists place so much emphasis on health, subscribe to aspects of the Old Covenant levitical dietary laws, why they are generally vegans and vegetarians, why they do not drink tea, coffee, caffeinated beverages, consume dairy products, etc., and are so judgemental and condemning towards Christians on these issues. Their prophetess Ellen White has enjoined such rules on them for moral, spiritual, and salvational reasons. Lastly, in chapter seventeen I provide a biblical survey of the levitical dietary laws and refutations of the Adventist health message, assumptions, their gross twisting of scores of biblical texts to try to justify this false doctrine.
