If, moreover, they have had any creative power, and have entered into the lives, and they and the Chapel have been a kind of home, in, and round, which the thoughts of the young have clustered, then, quite apart from anything else, they embody a cause, and may be loved as a sort of special property; so that in after years the man may send a brightness into them from his own soul, because his boyish recollections are bright.
