Book excerpt: This book is free out of respect for your right not to like the story. The Guardian Lineage, which has managed to survive since the time of King Jehoshaphat and become a secret organisation within the United Nations, has begun to question its purpose under the leadership of Darius Bratt. Was it really to prevent the evil that lurked underground from rising to the surface? In the end, they decided to send the seven youths they had chosen, following the descriptions in the ancient inscriptions, through a now-forgotten door. All they had to do was explore underground for twenty-four hours and bring back information. At the end of the time, however, none of the explorers managed to return. While the members of the Guardian Lineage struggled with the difficult decisions they had to make, the seven young people found themselves in the middle of a battle that had been going on for hundreds of years and had been forgotten by mankind. In order to see the light of day again, they had to fulfil their new mission among the Guards, the Guardian, the Shadowless, the Jewels, the Two-Faced Warriors, the Whippers and, of course, the Ancient Sorcerers, albeit unintentionally. Time, which had stood still for centuries, began to work against humanity once again. Excerpts from reviews on the Google Play Store, in the original language. - I think the author likes excitement, action and making events impossible to solve. He doesn't give you a chance to clear up the mystery until the last page. Congratulations. It's worth being a film. - Not like reading a book, but like watching a film. It really deserves to be a film. You'll enjoy it very much. - It deserves to be read, with its never-ending excitement, action, battles, intelligent and ingenious fiction. It's well worth your time. - The language is fluent and simple, the subject matter is interesting, the action is plentiful, and the suspense and curiosity remain until the very end. If you are looking for a novel without dragons, flying horses and elves, you should definitely read it. - I'm not used to coming across really clever, subtle fiction in fantasy. To do that in the real world without losing the fantastical atmosphere, especially with ordinary people, but to give them as much fantastical meaning as fictional characters, is a unique skill that only first class fantasy writers have achieved.

It covers all facets including little-known types of Gaelic song, the bagpipes and their music, including the esoteric subject of pibroch, the Ceol Mor or ‘Great Music’ of the pipes. It gives a comprehensive review of the fiddle composers and their music, and of the Clarsach and its revival, with an example of all-but-extinct Scottish harp music. A chapter is devoted to the music of Orkney and Shetland and the book contains over 100 examples of music many of which were from the author’s own collection and published here for the first time.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Robert’s therapeutic autobiography begins with his experience as a child flying out of the window in a car accident and ends with the pandemic twilight zone of COVID-19. He uses his background in psychology to examine projection errors of the mind that have plagued mankind for centuries. What is unique is that Robert uses examples from his own life, re-enacting events using therapeutic techniques, providing the reader insight into the secret of life’s stories. While the book could be used as a college text, it is written for multi age and education levels. As Robert moves from his first formative experience to his later life as a teacher, counselor, and Psychodramatist, he introduces the reader to important psychological concepts. Robert’s book is part memoir and psychological guide. The Secret in the Story is written as a sequel to the Story has a Secret. Robert shows you how to apply the same therapeutic perspective to your own life and to examine memories, turning them into your memoires, that can lead you to a more fulfilling life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jane Eyre, the story of a young girl and her passage into adulthood, was an immediate commercial success at the time of its original publication in 1847. Its representation of the underside of domestic life and the hypocrisy behind religious enthusiasm drew both praise and bitter criticism, while Charlotte Brontë’s striking exposé of poor living conditions for children in charity schools as well as her poignant portrayal of the limitations faced by women who worked as governesses sparked great controversy and social debate. Jane Eyre, Brontë’s best-known novel, remains an extraordinary coming-of-age narrative and one of the great classics of literature. The second edition has been updated throughout to reflect recent scholarship and includes new appendices on violence against women in Victorian fiction and madness and disability in the Victorian era.
