Download or read book Savior written by Jennifer I Saviano and published by . This book was released on 2021-03-20 with total page 668 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Please read entire description before purchase.*When a Biker with a tortured past, meets a mysterious woman in a dangerous situation, she becomes a light in his dark life that he'll do anything to keep. But she has a dark past of her own. One that is creeping ever closer, threatening to extinguish that light forever....*This is the story of Dean and Vanna. Two star crossed lovers who come to realize that they need each other to survive, in more ways than one. *Dean Keegan is a Vigilante Biker with a tortured past, who makes abusers of women and children pay for their crimes against the innocent. The story begins with Dean at rock bottom, on the verge of giving up after having lost his marriage and about to be thrown out of his club. His personal life is a wreck, but then Dean meets a unique woman named Vanna, who is unbeknownst to him, in hiding from her ex fiance cop currently doing time for nearly killing her years prior. They both have emotional scars and inner demons they're dealing with, that effect their lives and especially their budding relationship.*This is an in depth love story between two damaged characters that takes place in a small country town in a fictionalized region of the Carolina's. *The main story line of this book is wrapped up by the end, with a happily ever after for now (HEAFN), however there is a building story in the background that will continue and carry over into the upcoming Book 2. So technically you could say there is a "cliffhanger". *This isn't exactly an insta-love story, but could be considered a mutual insta-lust, that develops into true love. The circumstances around their relationship are unique and complicated at times, especially coming from two different walks of life. Dean and Vanna DO NOT cheat on each other, and though Vanna self identifies as a pagan witch, this is NOT written as a paranormal romance. There are witches in the world, just as there are bikers. It's up to the reader to decide whether or not spells or magic are real. Also, there isn't an extreme age gap (28h/37H)* SAVIOR Book 1, is not your typical MC Romance style book, though the main character is a Biker with connections to an MC. At 660+ pages, it is fast paced, and centers more heavily on the love story than MC politics, for a majority of the book. The MC politics are brewing in the background throughout the story, and will carry over into the sequel.* TRIGGER WARNING: Contains Explicit Adult Content: Sex, Profanity, Violence, Blasphemy, Brief Depictions of Abuse. Not recommended for anyone under the age of 18, or anyone triggered by the above mentioned.

Book The Apocrypha 5

Download or read book The Apocrypha 5 written by Apostle Arne and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2015-06-30 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The New Testament Apocrypha are a number of writings by early Christians that give accounts of Jesus and his teachings, the nature of God, or the teachings of his apostles and of their lives. These writings often have links with the books generally regarded as "canonical" but Christian denominations disagree on which writings should be regarded as "canonical" and which are "apocryphal". Definition. The word "apocrypha" means "things put away" or "things hidden" and comes from the Greek through the Latin. The general term is usually applied to the books that were considered by the church as useful, but not divinely inspired. As such, to refer to Gnostic writings as "apocryphal" is misleading since they would not be classified in the same category by orthodox believers. Often used by the Greek Fathers was the term antilegomena, or "spoken against", although some canonical books were also spoken against, such as the Apocalypse of John in the East. Often used by scholars is the term pseudepigrapha.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Recovers the lost messages of Mark, Matthew, Luke-Acts, and John for people today The words of the gospels were meant to be heard. While we can still appreciate the construction and grasp some understanding when we read, we miss much of the message because we’re working in the wrong medium. In Written to Be Heard Paul Borgman and Kelly James Clark offer the keys to recovering the radical, relevant messages of each gospel as they were first heard. The shaping of the gospels for oral performances, which would have been obvious to ancient (mostly preliterate) listeners, is lost on even the best contemporary reader. With careful analysis of the gospel writers’ particular voices within their own ancient literary context, Borgman and Clark equip readers to read as if hearing, focusing on overlapping patterns of hearing cues that shape each text and embed theological perspective.

Book The Ministry Vol 11 No 01

Download or read book The Ministry Vol 11 No 01 written by Various Authors and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 2007-01-01 with total page 259 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This issue of The Ministry contains a complete record of the twelve messages given during the 2006 winter training on the Crystallization-study of Mark, held December 25-30 in Anaheim, California. The crucial truth and the burden embodied in these twelve messages may be summarized in four statements: (1) When we live in the mingled spirit, we are learning Christ according to the reality in Jesus by the Spirit of reality so that His biography becomes our history to be the reality of the Body of Christ. (2) The kingdom of God is the Lord Jesus sown as a seed into the believers and developing into a realm over which God can rule in the divine life. (3) Christ's person with His all-inclusive death and His wonderful resurrection is our all-inclusive replacement for the producing of the one new man, so we must "hear Him" and see "Jesus only." (4) Let us go forth and preach Christ to all the creation, proclaiming the gospel, presenting the truth, and ministering life for the growth, development, and manifestation of the kingdom of God. These messages are being published immediately following the training in order that they may benefit the saints participating in the many video trainings that are held throughout the earth. The Announcements section includes a presentation of the present burden in the recovery concerning the Lord's move to Europe and the latest fellowship regarding the plan to build a ministry conference center in Anaheim, California. In the Announcements section we also include the 2007 calendar, giving the dates and locations of the seven Living Stream Ministry conferences and trainings--the seven annual feasts. One cannot measure the benefits derived from the Lord's rich speaking in His ministry and the mutual blending and building up of the saints and the churches in the Lord's recovery from every continent during these feasts.

Book New Testament Theology

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New Testament Theology is a major new contribution to New Testament scholarship by renowned scholar Eckhard Schnabel. While many New Testament theologies approach the material through a particular thematic construct (e.g., covenant), Schnabel takes a different approach. First, he focuses on Jesus Messiah and his significance for the early church. Second, he seeks to describe the theology of the New Testament as it was written and read in its historical context. This approach honors the fact that the authors and original readers of the New Testament were real people dealing with real issues in their specific ecclesiological, cultural, and missiological settings. Schnabel comprehensively combines a historical description of the New Testament's theology with a systematic reflection on the New Testament's message and the convictions of Jesus and his early followers. This valuable contribution to the field will be insightful reading for students, scholars, and pastors.

Book Equally Yoked

  • Author : Rick McKinniss
  • Publisher : Xulon Press
  • Release : 2009-12-29
  • ISBN : 1615795928

Download or read book Equally Yoked written by Rick McKinniss and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2009-12-29 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is written for people who really believe in their heart-or who really want to believe-that God's highest ideal is for men and women to operate in a full and equal partnership, yet have been led to believe that the Bible teaches otherwise. In both the original creation and in the new creation God has an ideal for the genders-full and equal partnership under God's headship. Equally Yoked examines the teaching of the Bible on this critical topic and makes the case that this ideal of partnership is biblical; and that reclaiming this ideal is essential for the church to fulfill its end-time mandate to partner with God in seeing His Kingdom come to earth. Why another book about men and women? Rick does a great job explaining why. I applaud this effort to pour more support and reason into a long overdue change in the modern day church. Men and women all over the world will applaud you as well. Thank you! Danny Silk Family Life Pastor Bethel Church, Redding, CA Rick McKinniss has written a book that should engage every serious Bible student who has struggled with the issue of gender and the Kingdom of God. Refusing to dodge either the difficult texts or the cultural contexts, this volume responsibly examines the whole perspective of Scripture concerning the roles of men and women. Dr. James Mason Professor Emeritus Bethel Seminary St. Paul, MN Rick McKinniss is the Senior Leader of Wellspring Church in Kensington, CT and is recognized as a servant-leader to pastors throughout Connecticut. He is a former adjunct professor of preaching at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN where he earned two theological degrees. He and his wife Debbie have been married for 36 yers and have four grown children.
