Download or read book Breakaway Sales written by Mike Kerrison and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2023-02-06 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Breakaway Sales: A Proven Structure to Double Your Sales … FOREVER! By: Mike Kerrison The four secrets that you are about to experience in this book have provided extraordinary results for me and for thousands of others. I discovered these secrets by combining years of researching hundreds of the greatest salespeople in the world, my experience starting and building three sales driven technology companies, and my own forty years of successful selling. I promise you that these four secrets are easy to understand, and if you make the effort to master them, you will achieve a level of success in your sales career that you had only dreamed about. What I have seen over the years, is that most CEOs, business owners, and sales executives are unwilling to risk any substantial investment in sales training. They have been let down by the promise of sales training. Every year someone shows up with the new secret sauce. And every year these training investments fail to provide a sustainable return. The instructors lack empathy, there is too much rah- rah, they don’t know the industry, and the training content is often riddled with techniques. And the classroom role play is seldom experiential in design or truly representative of the field. But I’m telling you folks, it doesn’t have to be this way. This book will address these issues, define the training needed, and provide you

Nowadays, people have unlimited and instant access to manifold information and thus they believe to be knowledgeable, autonomous and independent. As customers, they actively elude traditional sales and marketing on their way to a buying decision - in B2C and B2B alike. To reach these modern customers, companies must synchronize their sales approaches with their customers' decision-making processes and rethink selling. In this context, the author offers a wealth of suggestions with examples and provocative theses. A stirring and inspiring book for anyone interested in state-of-the-art sales and marketing: sales management and staff or entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Download or read book Improving Sales and Marketing Collaboration written by Avinash Malshe and published by Business Expert Press. This book was released on 2014-12-13 with total page 120 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sales and marketing are two primary business functions that focus on creating satisfied customers. Due to their complementary orientations and objectives, these two functions are ideally positioned for a fruitful, synergetic collaboration. UnfortuÂnately, the practical reality in many companies is far removed from this utopia. Sales and marketing personnel fail to communicate effectively, resulting in misunderstandings, frustration, and sometimes sabotage. Instead of supporting each other in creating superior value for customers, they often fight tiresome internal battles that are a drain on profits, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Improving Sales and Marketing Collaboration offers the first comprehensive perspective on the functioning of sales-marketing interfaces in business to business (B2B) companies. We explore their complementary roles in creating superior value for customers, problems that occur, the underlying causes of these problems, and potential solutions. These solutions are accompanied by a series of tools that managers can use to diagnose their sales-marketing interface and develop appropriate approaches to improve this relationship. Additionally, the book discusses a number of challenges that companies encounter and the impacts on their sales-marketing interfaces. The discussions and tools presented in this book provide managers with a deep underÂstanding of this critical interface, allowing them to apply these insights to improve their sales-marketing interface, which helps them create superior value for customers.

Download or read book The Spirit of Utopia written by and published by Stanford University Press. This book was released on 2000-08 with total page 326 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am. We are. That is enough. Now we have to start. These are the opening words of Ernst Bloch's first major work, The Spirit of Utopia, written mostly in 1915-16, published in its first version just after the First World War, republished five years later, 1923, in the version here presented for the first time in English translation. The Spirit of Utopia is one of the great historic books from the beginning of the century, but it is not an obsolete one. In its style of thinking, a peculiar amalgam of biblical, Marxist, and Expressionist turns, in its analytical skills deeply informed by Simmel, taking its information from both Hegel and Schopenhauer for the groundwork of its metaphysics of music but consistently interpreting the cultural legacy in the light of a certain Marxism, Bloch's Spirit of Utopia is a unique attempt to rethink the history of Western civilizations as a process of revolutionary disruptions and to reread the artworks, religions, and philosophies of this tradition as incentives to continue disrupting. The alliance between messianism and Marxism, which was proclaimed in this book for the first time with epic breadth, has met with more critique than acclaim. The expressive and baroque diction of the book was considered as offensive as its stubborn disregard for the limits of "disciplines." Yet there is hardly a "discipline" that didn't adopt, however unknowingly, some of Bloch's insights, and his provocative associations often proved more productive than the statistical account of social shifts. The first part of this philosophical meditation--which is also a narrative, an analysis, a rhapsody, and a manifesto--concerns a mode of "self-encounter" that presents itself in the history of music from Mozart through Mahler as an encounter with the problem of a community to come. This "we-problem" is worked out by Bloch in terms of a philosophy of the history of music. The "self-encounter," however, has to be conceived as "self-invention," as the active, affirmative fight for freedom and social justice, under the sign of Marx. The second part of the book is entitled "Karl Marx, Death and the Apocalypse." I am. We are. That's hardly anything. But enough to start.
