And some may also find their own life comparisons and similarities within some of them, thus you, the reader, contributing to what "the poet" has said and your own life now being shared with many audiences as a poem. For much of mankind goes through the same ups and downs in this poem of life that we all live with different lifestyles as their title and various parts of the earth as their background scenes. But being able to see how someone else succumbs and overcomes in theirs and applying it to your own is poetry at its best. This being not necessarily the poems of the author but simply something a poet has said by living, hence the title of "This book" being "Said the Poet." For life is poetry, and all that live it are writers of it.
