May it assist themto grow closer to the Qur'ān and to this Sūrah - especially every dayof Jum'ah when the Sūrah is to be recited for protection from theFitnah of Dajjāl. May it refresh their memory of the meaning of theSūrah and, more importantly, constantly deepen their understanding ofthe Sūrah. Amīn!As war on Islam intensifies and the time approaches when theimposter Euro-Jewish State of Israel makes its bid to become theruling State in the world, and Dajjāl the false Messiah would rule theworld from Jerusalem and declare that he is the true Messiah, I fearthat there would be many who would ban books on the Qur'ān. Itherefore pray most humbly, and ask my gentle readers to also kindlyjoin in the prayer, that Allah Most High might protect books (such asthis humble quartet of books on Sūrah al-Kahf) that employ theblessed Qur'ān to expose those in the godless modern age who arewaging unjust war on Islam and Muslims. Āmīn.A mysterious Euro-world-order with a Jewish-Christian alliancewages war on Islam on behalf of the Euro-Jewish State of Israel. Ifthere is any merit at all in this book it can, perhaps, be located in itsrole as a very humble pioneering work that might possibly inspireothers, more competent than this writer, to a more comprehensiveeffort in using this Sūrah of the Qur'ān to explain that world today.

That is why it is a common practice across the world to recite Sūrah al-Kahf on Fridays. This is a beautiful practice that helps strengthen one's relationship with the Quran and builds a culture of recitation. However, more important than simply reciting the Sūrah as a ritual is connecting with it emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and trying our best to understand its message and apply its guidance into our daily lives. This book was released on 2018-09-15 with total page 38 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Advanced in this paper is a Qur’anic perspective on thinking, rationality, and critical reason, which in its critical and goal-oriented dimensions provides a set of guidelines that ensures its purity and purpose from negative reductionist influences. The guidelines so provided are also rich in advancing a spiritual dimension with the understanding that thinking which is not informed by morality and faith can lose its direction and purpose and can even become harmful to human welfare. The paper begins with a discussion of the divine signs, the ayat, and the prominent profile that they take in the Qur’anic conception of thinking. Other topics discussed include an identification of the sources of knowledge in the Qur’an, factors that impede rational thinking, and a historical sketch of the golden age of scientific creativity and its eventual decline. A brief section is also devoted to ijtihad and where it fits into the scheme of our analysis on thinking, followed by a short comparison of Islamic and Western philosophical perceptions of rationality.

Download or read book An Islamic View of Gog and Magog in the Modern World Gog and Magog in the Modern World written by Imran Hosein and published by Iron Heart Publishing. This book was released on 2021 with total page 236 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I began my study of Gog and Magog more than fifteen years ago in the early 90's while resident in New York. My subsequent public lecture on the subject never failed to provoke keen interest from my Muslim audiences in several parts of the world. The evidence and arguments presented in the chapter on Gog and Magog in my book 'Jerusalem in the Qur'an', succeeded in convincing many who read the book that we now live in a world dominated by Gog and Magog. There were easily convinced that the 'town' mentioned in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Anbiyah (21:95-96) was Jerusalem and hence, that Gog and Magog (and Dajjal) explained the ominously unfolding was on Islam with slaughter and destruction of Muslims in so many parts of the world. As a consequence, such readers also understood Israel's mysterious imperial agenda, and many have been making efforts to extricate themselves and their families from the embrace of Gog and Magog - an embrace that will take 999 out of every 1000 of mankind into the hellfire. Despite my best efforts, however, I failed miserable, again and again, to convince my learned peers, the scholars of Islam. I earnestly hope and pray that this book mught make a difference InshaAllah.

Book excerpt: Life is a journey. Every one of us is gifted a set amount of time on this earth, and we all must make the best of it before that time is up. While none of us knows exactly how long we have, what is amazing is that per unit time, we all get the exact same amount every unit. We all get different total amounts, but no one's hour is discernibly different from another person's hour. Yet, that is the only real similarity, as some people simply waste entire decades away, while others perform deeds in a few hours or even minutes that last for all of eternity! Some people live life so unremarkably that their existence and non-existence is almost the same to others; while some literally change the course of history. This book is meant to inspire us all on this journey of life so that we make the best use of our time. Each topic is chosen to be a quick, easy read with a message that is useful to people at any stage of this journey. These topics were all chosen and selected from khutbahs and talks that I've given over the last almost three decades of public speaking, with ex-tensive editing for content, along with the necessary stylistic editing and footnotes that a written work deserves

Book How Islam Shaped The Modern World

Download or read book How Islam Shaped The Modern World written by Sayyid Rami Al Rifai and published by Sunnah Muakada. This book was released on 2016-04-04 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When the question is asked what are Islam’s contributions to civilization, often the focus is on scientific development, to the ancient world this is by far the most misleading standard for advancement and development. While Islam was certainly the most advanced civilization of the ancient world it’s social and moral development is what set it apart from the rest of the world. Social and moral development in the ancient world had a far more significant impact on a society than scientific development, although still important in many ways, this is because ideology changes how the entire community behaved and lived their lives. Moral development drives social development because it defines the framework for how that society should live and spend it’s time and energy, scientific development historically was a result of both of these because the backdrop in the ancient world for a society that did not develop socially and morally was either living as hunter gatherers or a nomadic life, they either never advanced as a community or degraded after advancement as the moral fabric of that society disappeared, the pyramids could not be built until the Egyptian religion and society demanded it which then directed mans scientific and engineering efforts. As the world at large moved away from this Islam was instrumental in shaping the development of the entire world as it shared it's scientific discoveries from one end of the empire to the other, it was a trade empire whose borders stretched from west Africa and southern Europe to China, it’s scientific advancements which surpassed the rest of the world where a direct result of changing communities and societies around the world and encouraging them to study nature and the world, this global effort would later spread around the world from Europe to Asia to the Americas. By only the 9th century for example muslim scientist’s had discovered the world was round and in comparison to Europe, the masses embraced the notion and took it for granted, Ibn Hazm said its proof was “that the Sun is always vertical to a particular spot on Earth”, meaning if you where to follow the sun to where you perceived it to be setting, you would always find it vertical (up in the sky) to that location even though from your original location it may appear to be setting, that notion dawned on Galileo 500 years later. This book looks at what it is in Islam that encouraged this change in so many communities and it discusses the spirituality that shaped so many lives. Some of these societies where among the most primitive people on earth but in a short period of time they would set up large empires spanning multiple continents, this processes was seen numerous times in Islam’s history in different regions of the earth by communities of different backgrounds. From the Arab Ummayids who first invaded Europe, to the African Mali Empire whose most famous ruler was the richest person in History, to the Turkish Ottomans who had one of the largest Empires on earth and one of the longest lasting family dynasties, all had simple beginnings but one thing in common that changed their societies in a short period of time, Islam.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Qur’an is full of parables. Each one, when its meaning is unpacked and understood, offers wisdom and guidance. Surah Kahf, chapter 18 from the Qur’an, is particularly thought provoking, and Muslims are advised to read it at least once a week. But why? And what can we gain from it? In this book Yasir Qadhi leads us through Surah Kahf, unfolding the lines, stories and symbols that have inspired people for over a thousand years: the people of the cave, Prophet Musa’s momentous encounter with Khidr, the two men and their gardens, and Gog and Magog. And surely We have explained matters in people in the Qur’an in diverse ways, using all manners of parables. (Qur’an 18:54) Through Yasir Qadhi’s unmistakeable voice, modern Muslims may glimpse some of the Qur’an’s profound meaning. Say: “If the sea were to become ink to record the Words of my Lord, indeed the sea would all be used up before the Words of my Lord are exhausted…” (Qur’an 18:109)

Book A Thirteenth eighteenth Century Quranic Commentary on the Chapters of The All merciful The Event and Iron from The Immense Ocean

Download or read book A Thirteenth eighteenth Century Quranic Commentary on the Chapters of The All merciful The Event and Iron from The Immense Ocean written by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad Ibn ʻAjībah and published by Fons Vitae Quranic Commentarie. This book was released on 2009 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Providing commentary on three oft-recited chapters of the Holy Qur'an, this excerpt of the monumental discourse by 18th-century mystic and scholar Ahmad ibn 'Ajiba presents both an example of Islamic erudition based on traditional sources as well as insight into his own personal journey of discovery. Each verse is expounded upon with an exoteric explanation as well as related with an esoteric commentary to the mystic path of Islam, Sufism. As one of the few scholarly translations of traditional Qur'anic exegesis, this volume affords the previously unacquainted access not only to how educated Muslims have understood the dominant themes of these three chapters since the earliest days of Islam but also to how traditional Sufic sources have viewed the same themes in respect to the microcosm of the soul and the journey towards God.
