This research brings up the question: what is the role of women's employment in the economic development of Muslim countries? This research is a combination of library research and field research. The research hypotheses are examined through the Chi-Square test. The result of this study shows that Islam is not an obstacle to women's employment. In library research, different indices like women's employment rates in agriculture, industry, and service have been compared between Muslim and non-Muslim countries. The achieved result does not show any differences from the result of field research.
