Download or read book Model Rules of Professional Conduct written by American Bar Association. House of Delegates and published by American Bar Association. This book was released on 2007 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Model Rules of Professional Conduct provides an up-to-date resource for information on legal ethics. Federal, state and local courts in all jurisdictions look to the Rules for guidance in solving lawyer malpractice cases, disciplinary actions, disqualification issues, sanctions questions and much more. In this volume, black-letter Rules of Professional Conduct are followed by numbered Comments that explain each Rule's purpose and provide suggestions for its practical application. The Rules will help you identify proper conduct in a variety of given situations, review those instances where discretionary action is possible, and define the nature of the relationship between you and your clients, colleagues and the courts.

Download or read book Multi Disciplinary Engineering for Cyber Physical Production Systems written by Stefan Biffl and published by Springer. This book was released on 2017-05-06 with total page 474 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book discusses challenges and solutions for the required information processing and management within the context of multi-disciplinary engineering of production systems. The authors consider methods, architectures, and technologies applicable in use cases according to the viewpoints of product engineering and production system engineering, and regarding the triangle of (1) product to be produced by a (2) production process executed on (3) a production system resource. With this book industrial production systems engineering researchers will get a better understanding of the challenges and requirements of multi-disciplinary engineering that will guide them in future research and development activities. Engineers and managers from engineering domains will be able to get a better understanding of the benefits and limitations of applicable methods, architectures, and technologies for selected use cases. IT researchers will be enabled to identify research issues related to the development of new methods, architectures, and technologies for multi-disciplinary engineering, pushing forward the current state of the art.

This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 690 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: v. Formation of negative ions by processes other than attachment in the gaseous phase at low X/po 17. Introduction. As early as 1912, J. J. THOMSON [32J in his first mass spectro graph observed negative ions of 0-, Cl-, H- and what he believed to be N-. He at first ascribed these to possible dissociation of polar gaseous compounds by electron impact but control studies using ionization at low energies in glow discharges indicated that this was not the origin. O. W. RICHARDSON [33J in his book on emission of electricity from hot bodies reported negative ions to come from hot salts. From there on many experimental studies over the years indicated that negative ions could be formed by various processes. By the middle nineteen hundred and thirties the data fairly clearly identified several processes as being active and MASSEY and SMITH [34J developed the theory underlying some of them. More data are summarized in MASSEY'S excellent little monograph on Negative Ions and in )L\SSEY and BURHOP'S recent book [35]. Since that period, stimulated by various investigations and certain industrial problems, very careful studies of the appearance of such ions by mass spectrograph have been carried out in the laboratory of K. G. EMELEUS in Belfast by SLOANE and his co-workers [3J that haw clarified the questions and indicated what ions have been observed and something of the processes at work.
Download or read book Research on Photoemission written by W. T. Peria and published by . This book was released on 1963 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Techniques used to obtain high vacua, to provide clean surfaces, to deposit Na on these surfaces and to measure their work functions are described. A method used to fabricate hemispherical grids is also included. Work function, electron diffraction and secondary emission studies of sodium covered germanium are presented. Preparations for a field-emission study of the same system are described. In the study of the compound Na3Sb, preliminary data on the details of film formation have been obtained and the inert atmosphere facility for the preparation of the bulk material has been completed. A brief description of the apparatus to be used in the study of anomalous photovoltaic effects in Ge films is given.
Download or read book Physical Electronics written by A. H. Beck and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Physical Electronics deals with various aspects of physical electronics, with emphasis on electron optics, heavy current electron beams, and theory and design principles of gridded valves. A paraxial theory of electrostatic and magnetic lenses is presented, and cathode imaging and electron mirrors are discussed. Electron beams in field free space are also considered, along with cylindrical diodes and planar triodes. Comprised of three sections, this volume begins with an overview of the theory of electron optics, paying particular attention to aberrations, thermal velocities, and electron beam deflection as well as cathode imaging and electron mirrors. A paraxial theory of electrostatic and magnetic lenses is also described. The next section is devoted to heavy current electron beams and looks at concepts such as dimensional scaling, electron guns, and anode aperture effects, together with Brillouin focusing of a cylindrical beam and focusing in confined flow. The final section deals with the theory and design principles of gridded valves and considers the electrostatic problem; approximations for real triodes; multigrid receiving valves; and electron-optical principles in valves. This book will be of interest to students and practitioners of physics and electronics engineering.
