Although there are several deliverance ministries and programmes today. You might have gone through some of them. The devil has bastardized many and besides, he floats his deliverance outfits to deceive and perpetuate his nefarious activities in the lives of his captives. It is true that Deliverance Pastors can help you cast out demons and break yokes of bondage with fire prayers, but he cannot help you to maintain your deliverance, you have to do this by yourself with great determination, if you really want to enjoy miracles of deliverance. This is the reason why you need genuine deliverance; this is why I recommend this book to the children of God that want to maintain their deliverance and enforce victory. Some people have become regular deliverance candidate without testimony to show. The ministry of deliverance is called conflict ministry or controversial ministry. The word deliverance in the scriptural sense simply means the act of saving or setting people free from captivity, and bondage. Deliverance also means freedom and control over the kingdom of darkness and their unfruitful works. But so many people have gone through deliverance ministrations without total freedom. Because of Lack of knowledge from their origin, so many people look at the present happenings intended of the origin of their problem. Psalm 11:3- If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Does it mean that one has to go through deliverance ministrations all through one's life? Can't one be delivered once and for all? Demons operate on a legal ground, until such legal ground is broken, they will not go. The reason is this; so many deliverance Pastors/Ministers concentrate their efforts on symptoms rather than the causes of the present happenings alone. When you look at the problem from the root and is uprooted completely, from the root, that is the best form and easy way to have total freedom. Don't cut the branches of tree, uproot the roots and the branches will die naturally, Isaiah 5:13 - Therefore my people are gone into captivity because they have no knowledge and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. To receive deliverance or healing is one thing and to remain in liberty or real wellness is another thing. What you once received from God if you don't know how to keep it in good and perfect condition it could be destroyed or stolen from you. This book will help deliverance candidates who have undergone deliverance and also or those who do not know what to do. This book sets out to identify its particular character, focusing on a particular place: Greater Accra, the capital of Ghana. Paul Gifford examines a wide range of Accra's new churches, giving priority to mega-churches. Every dimension -- discourse, theological vision, worship, rituals, music, media involvement, use of the Bible, conventions, finances, clientele -- is analysed. Gifford argues that this Christianity is not otherworldly: its emphasis is on success, achievement, wealth here and now. Yet within this general orientation there is diversity. At one end of the spectrum are churches that, building on the traditional religious imagination, see demonic forces everywhere blocking personal success. In the churches the key factor is the special 'man of God' who is understood to have the 'anointing' to conquer these forces, to 'reverse the curse' that is holding the believer back. At the other end is a strain of this new Christianity that discounts spiritual forces and sees victory resulting from the believer's own education and skills, and from transforming culture.The book also joins the debate over the role of this Christianity in modernizing economic and political structures. It sets the scene by describing Ghana's political and economic situation in the decades when these churches were proliferating, and outlines the current debate on the reasons for Africa's economic plight. It is argued that although focusing on success and wealth can provide motivation in circumstances where it is so easy to despair, the pervasive emphasis on miracles militates against any natural fostering of a new work ethic. As for their political role, some churches are easily co-opted; others challenge the government, but for 'spiritual' reasons that provide little incentive to grapple with issues of governance; by contrast, Gifford finds one important church encouraging change of the entire political culture. No other book has set forth the complex nature of Africa's new Christianity with such clarity, or offered such a searching analysis of its power to tackle Africa's predicament.
