How can one buy a watch on the internet? How can one avoid fraudulent copies? These are just some of the questions to which any wristwatch enthusiast needs to find answers in an era when counterfeiting luxury products has become an industry in its own right. Book The Complete Rolex Counterfeit Watch Guide

Download or read book The Complete Rolex Counterfeit Watch Guide written by Robert Ross and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2015-11-14 with total page 148 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With today's technology the way it is it has become virtually impossible to tell a well-crafted counterfeit from the authentic without taking it to a skilled and qualified jeweler. This is especially true with stainless steel models. Advancements in counterfeit manufacture have progressed to such a level that it is usually necessary to literally open the back of the watch case and inspect the interior components themselves to ascertain authenticity. Some of today's "Swiss-Made" counterfeits can now run into the hundreds of dollars. In rare cases even into the thousands where counterfeit watch makers will even work in real 14K & 18K gold. Primarily Chinese based companies continue to produce counterfeit watches at staggering numbers and with current technology and the internet, Chinese based companies can now openly market counterfeit products to markets in the United States, Great Britain and Europe. But the real danger lies with the unsuspecting buyer who believes he is buying a real genuine Rolex watch from a private seller who may have advertised a fake as a "Genuine Rolex" watch he has and must sell for a substantially discounted price on the internet. What amazes me most is not the fact that the guy "must sell' his $6k watch for $1500. If it's a genuine Rolex worth $6K, any reputable jeweler will gladly shell out $1500 to buy it from him at such a substantially low price. But that so many people out there will fall for this. It is one thing to knowingly buy a fake Rolex, but it's another thing altogether to think you are buying a real Rolex and instead end up buying a well-made, modern counterfeit Rolex. The purpose of this book is to show legitimate buyers every model that we know of that is out there being counterfeited in detail. Who would suspect that the "vintage" model is really a vintage fake that was recently manufactured and manufactured to look exactly in every detail like the "real" model. Here legit buyers can see in detail the actual counterfeit version of a watch they may be looking at so they can see little inconsistencies that exist between the counterfeits and the genuine article.

Download or read book Rolex Replications written by Philadelphia Society and published by . This book was released on 2014-08-17 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Published by our club, the Philly Watch Society ROLEX REPLICATIONS is primarily a pictorial guide featuring B&W images of counterfeit watches currently being manufactured and marketed, many to unsuspecting buyers as genuine Rolex watches.Counterfeit watches are openly sold on the internet by several China based companies. The overwhelming majority of these businesses are set up to lure unsuspecting buyers who are soon cheated out of a good sum of money. Some sellers go to elaborate lengths to make themselves look like a huge high volume and established business to gain a buyer's trust. These companies run very fancy websites loaded with every type of counterfeit product one could imagine and even offer U.S. based customer service numbers to call which are transferred back overseas or to a U.S. based agent somewhere in Los Angeles or New York. Websites for companies like PERFECTWATCHES.CN LUXURYREPLICA, LUXURYREPLI.RU and HIPHOPWATCH.CN have state of the art websites to make themselves try and look legit but upon researching and trying to contact them don't seem to actually exist. Fraudulent companies defraud thousands of U.S. buyers on a daily basis. For those deciding to go that route dealing with these companies is like playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun. Some companies out there however run honest and creditable businesses but they are few and far between. The purpose of this book is to provide reference to the various "fakes" being produced. With modern technology the day of tacky tell-tale quart movement, inaccurately weighed counterfeits is now replaced with high-end ETA replicas that are designed just like the real watches and can fool even some jewelers. These watches command upwards to $1500 and are virtually undetectable from the real Rolex to the layman. Counterfeiters are manufacturing rare, vintage Rolex models that most laymen would never consider being fake because they weren't making fakes back then and they are manufacturing them to the highest quality. This guide will show you which vintage and modern versions are being replicated in today's current market.According to estimates by the Swiss Customs Service, there are some 30 to 40 million counterfeit watches put into circulation each year. This guide provides reference photographs to various models of Rolex watches that are being mass-produced. These counterfeits are mainly produced in Asia and at least 54% of fakes seized annually originated in China.

Book excerpt: We live in a world of fakers. Rather than being real with each other, we present a carefully crafted persona that hides our faults and magnifies our good qualities. But inside we long to be loved, warts and all. We long to stop hiding from each other--and especially from God. With candor and clarity, pastor Rick Bezet calls readers to a life built on authenticity, showing that the way to true freedom lies through reclaiming our hearts, reviving our souls, and renewing our minds in light of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. Through biblical stories and (often funny) personal examples, Bezet encourages readers to live with passion, integrity, and perseverance. He releases readers from the spiritual death that comes with pretending and leads them into a new life characterized by transparency rather than fear.

Written in the form of a diary, Kennedy describes in detail the hazardous conditions of the Arctic.
