Crash Fire Rescue personnel need to be trained in aircraft forcible entry and victim extrication methods in addition to good firefighting tactics to enhance the crash survivor's survival rate. Practical forcible entry and extrication training programs and facilities are virtually non-existent for Crash Fire Rescue personnel. The purpose of this research study was to develop a practical training program to equip Crash Fire Rescue personnel with the skills needed in crash victim recovery.
